      @@pafu015 It is still really cool to show someone it is functioning while it is functioning and tell them you started it a couple of years before. Some people will believe anything. The first wheel you make will likely only run about a day and a half until you find what is the best shifting weight to use and the best balance without weight. It took some tinkering to make it the 5 to 7 days. I doubt anybody can make these dumb things go any longer. I noticed the small ones work a lot shorter time than the bigger ones. I used shifting liquid to get the best result.

      Anyone who says they designed a Perpetual Motion Machine and asks for money is a Scammer because PPM are impossible due to the law of conservation. Every form of energy is continuously deteriorating into several other smaller forms of energy as it interacts. These machines will Never work without some form of external power input. Just like your device that needs to be charged before use. Or a TV or appliance that needs to be plugged in to work. Hell even a Bicycle requires a rider to put in the energy to make it work. Your pencil isn't gonna do your homework for you. Things that don't work without a battery or a motor? How well will your car/truck run without those? Power drill? Insert device name here!?

      @@seemlyme I think that I see what you'ee suggesting - the water ending up at a higher altitude and thus having more potential energy, right?
      I think that, at the time when the balloon is almost empty, there will not be enough pressure left in it to squirt the last of the water out. And before that, as the pressure is still dropping in the balloon, the water would squirt out at lower and lower speeds as the pressure drops, not reaching the same height as it used to when the balloon was full. So, you couldn't catch it at the same height. If you successfully move some of the water up by some amount, which I believe you could do using this design, you would have to move some of the water down, too. So the overall gravitational potential energy won't go up. Besides this, there is friction involved in fluid dynamics, the amount I'm not sure of but it is there. So, the friction will inevitably convert some of your initial potential energy into heat energy, which is basically a loss because of how hard it is to recapture 100% of the lost heat energy.

      @servantking1519 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@seemlyme tbh, you can't create energy, only manipulate it. And although you can certainly extract existing energy "for free" it isn't something that didn't exist before. Anytime you get energy out of a system, that same amount of energy was taken from elsewhere (eg: an external source of energy like a battery or a burning candle releasing heat) or else it was transformed from another type of energy already present.
      For example, cars getting kinetic energy from the motion of pistons, driven by an ongoing reaction which takes gasoline (with a high energy density) and combines it with oxygen and heat, turning it into water vapour, carbon dioxide and some carbon monoxide (each of which has a low energy density compared to gasoline, and can't be combusted in the same way). The energy releases in this reaction is in the form of heat, and the gasses produced are therefore at high pressure (another form of potential energy), which is what pushes the piston, giving most of that energy to the drivetrain of the vehicle, which turns it into rotational motion to trun the wheels, which turn it back into linear motion as the car moves forward.
      Another example is the electromagnet. Since a static (unchanging) magnetic field doesn't consume energy, all of the energy put into an electromagnet after the first few seconds turns into heat. The way physics works, the byproduct of this transaction is a magnetic field. Even an electric motor, which uses energy only to power these electromagnets, can't be 100% efficient, because a lot of the energy you put into it comes out as heat, not to mention friction, which is always at play and does the same thing.
      My point is simply that all machines and all interactions transform energy in some way, but none of them use it up. In the same way, no generator or solar panel or turbine or chemical reaction actually produces energy; they only transform it. At the core of these machines and of any real interaction is the fact that energy can neither be created nor destroyed. This is, in fact, at the heart of science and our understanding of physics. We wouldn't have mmodern science as it is today without this understanding. I don't intend to humiliate you or anyone else, but I do want you to understand for your own benefit that this is how things work. What do you think?

    • @servantking1519
      @servantking1519 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cold and warm water actually could work, you can extract existing energy by the differential in temperature between them, making such a device an engine, not a perpetual motion machine. Stirling engines work based on this principle of heat flowing from a 'warm' side to a 'cold' side.

    Thanks for sharing here is an idea that came about from watching your video. I would add a spring to the end of the rod and fasten a string to it, roughly measure the distance the rod swings to the next rod that will fall and cut the string. Then I would fasten the string to the next rod so it would catch at a point of enough inertia from falling rod to pull the next rod along with it. I hope this idea gets us closer to breaking some laws ;)

    You might want the weights at the end of the wood planks to move closer to the wheel as the planks begin to fold bringing them closer to the wheel as they are being raised and then move to the most outer position when the plank flips over giving some momentum in the process....
    The weights will need to be able to slide back and forth tied to possibly some fishing wire that is attached to the weight and the rim with a cam at the base of the plank which will cause the position of the planks to pull on the fishing wire to position the weight....
    That way, all the weights going up should be closer to the rim and the downward going weights being extended to their maximum....
    Not sure if this works but I think it would ad a difference in the weight going down to the weight going up....

    As far as there is water, the drinking bird can go on forever

      yep, as long as they have water they don't stop, i have one myself and i tried to hook a water condenser to it, sadly even if the bird lasts days without adding more water, the condenser is too slow, and even if it was fast enough you still need to change it condensing chemicals once every 2 months or so

      so i think using water from the rain will be the best way of passive generation, but still, if we are going to use water from the rain then it's better just to put a turbine in the water collection pipe

    Years ago I had the idea of two interlocking wheels, like a set of cogs - both with magnets on the ends of the cog tooth. one with north facing, the other with south facing. as they came into contact with each other at the cog intersection point, one pole would repel (or attract, depending on which way you set it up) the other opposite pole. The magnets would not ever actually physically touch, but they would have a brief magnetic field interaction at the intersection point, which the force of repelling (or attracting) would cause the wheels to spin either away, from each other, or toward each other, but it would generate motion: and, as the speed of the wheels (cogs with magnets on the ends) picked up speed, the interactions between the intersection point would increase to a point where the electromagnetic field would cap out at a pretty high speed, never actually coming into contact with each other. Pully's could be attached to the uni-polar magnetic cog wheels and stored in a battery- well at least hypothetically anyway. I had a dream about this alien magnetic generator unit years ago but never actually tried to build it. - I dunno, I''m not a physicist or a mathematician, but could it work?? I have always wondered

    • @W1ldSm1le
      @W1ldSm1le 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mike Remington no it can't work, the fields on permanent magnets will interfere in the leading edge as much as it "pushes" on the trailing edge. You could always use an electromagnet and rapidly switch it, but all you've done is make an electric motor at that point.

      @@uncopino you should tell that to PMMG4HYBRID .. who is capable of running a motor which feeds itself and generates enough charge to charge things externally.
      The biggest challenge is that people always seem to think that these machines are something to be done with only one form of energy transference, like gravity to rotation, but when you start incorporating multiple forms of energy transference, then it is possible to get more out than what you put in. The thing is just working out the methods of energy transference which work well with with each other.
      E=0.5VSquared :D the equation for a bipolar coil, works on the basis of 3 motions of energy transference. It's not perpetual motion, but it is pretty cool at amplifying the energy which is supplied, I guess with an interesting enough setup, you may be able to make it feed itself and then absorb the inducted energy at a small enough rate that it's capable of replenishing itself without being effected by the loss itself. But that's just a spitball hypothesis .. would need to make a few things before finding out if the hypothesis is plausible.

Here are the steps to the construction of the machine. Step one, grab your portal gun, step 2 shoot a portal on the floor, step 3 shoot the other portal directly above the portal on the floor. Step 4, jump in. Congratulations you have just completed you perpetual motion machine. All you need to do now is to find out how to turn air resistance into electricity.

Use the force of gravity so that when the magnets go down in gravity they move down the rail way to the other side causing them to push and then when they go back up they move back down the rail way causing them to pull somehow?

  • @codeninja1832

    I believe the only way to get this to work is if you could somehow alter gravity to be greater than 1g on one side and 1g or less on the other. Magnets wear out over time. Then again, the device altering gravity would probably wear out as well but we don't know what it would be so it's also possible that it doesn't wear out.

    What about a strong magnet at the very bottom left of the wheel, with magnets on them instead of weights, with the magent and magnet weights placed in such a way that the magnet will attracted them then repulse them once the magnet reaches the pisition of thw wheel where it starts attracting another magnet on the wheel, as if not the magnet will work against the motion also, that seems like it would get max use out of the magnet, just a thought
