+istellarus While I I adore whatever PL had to offer through their career, I must pinpoint one thing, as a comment to the the one of yours: Narrowing down the band to one album is what I would call "narrow-mindedness".
Have to agree, i love 'Host' amazing recording. What i admire about these guys is that they do what they want musically. There not a band that puts out the same type of cd time after time, for 30 yrs. Def one of my all time fav bands!
Wow.. Didn't even know they could pull the songs of Host live. The studio version is all keys and synth with effect guitars if you could hear it. This is amazing.

"Host" is an amazing album. It's the best in all of Paradise Lost catalogue IMO. Not for the narrow-minded, though.

They made a whole tour after releasing Host. I saw them live back then, the songs where great , highly energetic
