Hello Mr. Stephan how are you? First and foremost, I want tell you that I sincerely enjoy your TH-cam channel. I have been following your channel since the end of my undergrad year of college in 2018.
I believe coming across this particular topic you spoke about was nothing more than a divine appointment. Because I am in my late 20’s and am a youth pastor and currently in the talking stage with a young woman who I like. And the points you mentioned were very valuable. Thank very much sir may God bless you in your ministry.

ATTRACTION IS IMPORTANT. WE SHOULD TAKE CARE OF OURSELVES BEFORE, DURING MARRIAGE. Exercise is important and wellness is important. Getting to know ourselves is possible. In my 20’s I didn’t know better, in my early thirties I wasn’t there yet either. Healing from childhood trauma, through therapy and my relationship with God helped me change. 🙌🏽👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🤗🙏🏽

I would add a question about potential kids, because you don't want to get into a relationship with a person who has plans totally opposite to you.
If you want them, don't go ahead with a woman who doesn't.
The problem is with people who don't know what they want out of their lives. I truly believe, that if someone doesn't know such fundamental answer should not date at all...
"Later" or "maybe" is not an answer! You can and you should ask additional questions like:
    - What conditions need to be met for you to be comfortable to have kids?
    - When you will feel certain enough to make such decision? After mariage?
    - What is you vision of a family? How we should divide taking care of children?
    - How much effort are you willing to put into raising kids?
    - Are you willing to consider adoption?

This is a good list. I can think of a few young men in my family that I may share this with.
Maybe break them up over 7 dates? Consider adding a question about sexual preference, finding out someone is bisexual or asexual (but wants kids) down the road has got to be an unpleasant surprise.

A relationship is not a business transaction. Many people don’t know what they want. One thing you can depend on is that things will “change.” Asking these questions is interesting, but not reality. People lie. Accept behavior or move on.

Thanks, Stephan. Most of these questions also apply to women. However, people grow and change their values and belief system sometimes. I married a good Christian, but unfortunately, he became an atheist a few years into our marriage. Something happened to him that made him stop believing in God. I, on the other hand, depend on God, and I'm raising my children to also believe in God. We've been separated for 2 years now because all our values don't align anymore.

Yes ! These questions to women are vital ! Afterall we have eyes and we are physically attracted at first sight .. so yea it’s important that people maintain the physical appearance throughout their courtship/relationship/marriage . The reality is a lot of people let themselves go and they get comfortable after the fact and I’m sorry to say, but it does ruin a lot of relationships . We as women do everything in our power to look attractive to get the attention of the man why do we stop? So it’s an important question to ask ! Maybe not so much a question but a statement as to something that you value Going into A relationship with someone .

Exactly but you have to ask how active they are and if they do it for themselves otherwise they could potentially just stop after finding a man or woman if applying to the men

  • @jacks21glife10
    @jacks21glife10 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

Attraction is somewhat important but ppl need to question why they put so much emphasis on this. We can't always be living in a constant fantasy around the clock, wanting a woman to look good always even in her home! Lol. That's pretentious and superficial. There's a time for everything and life happens. A person's body may change due to childbirth or even illness. You really need to really like a person and their soul to really love them in these moments (God forbides illness but it can happen). Our need to have a certain presentation to the world causes us to loose hold of building true connections that surpass extreme surface needs and desires. Attraction is important but realness is too. 🙏🏽
