Learn more about working in CMYK in Adobe InDesign: really master the subject rather than just applying an easy reflex learned in school, namely working systematically in CMYK in InDesign, without even understanding that there are many different CMYKs and that it is better to be sure to use the right one. And that working in CMYK (instead of RGB) is only really interesting when you want to have precise control over the black layer.
When CMYK work is not imperatively required in InDesign, RGB work will allow the generation of several CMYK PDFs, each corresponding to a printing standard: this will be useful for printing with different techniques or on different papers, while respecting the original colors of the design, thanks to color management which will perform each time the conversions from RGB to CMYK required. For a variation of a work on different CMYK supports, there is nothing like working initially in a large and efficient color space like an RGB space.
