Moe Lester, But who started it first? Rick, obviously. If Rick minded his own damn business, this shit wouldn't have happened. Those deaths were in Rick’s hands. Negan killed Glenn(Darly’sfault) and Abraham as an acted of mercy. Rick killed more of Negan’s men.
Bruh Rick literally started it first, remember when he killed that entire savior base WHILE THEY WERE SLEEPING? Negan killed Glenn and Abraham for that. 2 people in exchange for what, 30? I love Rick but I mean he's pretty brutal too.
Rick has lost friends because of Negan, His son, these people were his family and Negan was the man who took them away from Rick. I can tell you have lived a life where people never hurt you after the loss of a loved one, and the reason they hurt you was that they could. When you have that level of pain in you and someone is the reason for that pain. There is no such thing as "compassion". Like it was said, "you can not reason with the tiger when your head is in it's mouth", and Negan has been the soul driving force of evil up to this point.
If Daryl didn't punch Negan, Abraham would've been the only one Negan killed. 1 person for over dozens of people seems unfair for the people who lost the dozens of people. If only Rick and the group saw it that way.
well negan did start it all... beforehand they were trying to live peacefully, taking in survivors, taking out threats from clearly evil people with evil intentions, no matter what negan does, I always remember the start. rick squad all the way

Morghann spoiler warning!!!!! ⚠️ Maggie takes a wile to forgive Negan, but she does, but rick is the hard head. The garden scene is foreshadowing, Negan becomes a good guy, and helps out. There is still tension though for wile, especially with rick and Negan. But then again, there isn’t much peace in the future either.
How many times rick is tell negan im gonna kill you, just do it already lol. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, maybe not after breakfast, maybe not after 3 more seasons, but i will kill you lol
Because he got some form of closure (as in he was there when carl died) and hes reacting to Carls death in a more violent "i dont care what happens too me anymore" way (ex: when he wasted ammo trying to kill negan and started a fire whilst also surrounded by walkers)
If Rick forgives Negan, it is because he will be honoring carl's last wish. Besides, I cant think of a worst punishment for Negan than being one of the last survivors on a planet, where more than half of the inhabitants are dead and the ones that remain alive will probably hate him for the rest of their lives.
At first, I thought Negan's reaction would be something like, "Well....hehe... That shit must suck, Rick!", but damn.... was I wrong. This scene hit me really hard.
[marbardan] Negan > Rick. Rick has no soul left anymore. He is a mindless killing machine now. Rick started all this by ambushing the Savior’s camps and murdering the people in the sanctuary in their sleep. How long before we see Rick is the villian? How long did it take us to figure out Walter White aka Heisenberg had become a bad guy? The show tune our minds to make us think the main characters are the good guys. That’s not how plot points work anymore.
No negan has always had that moral compass of not hurting children and he was never gonna harm Carl..He had even said that he played that counting game for fun,and he already had his targets selected
Ruben Hernandez Jesus Christ, it’s amazing how delusional you people are. Negan is sadistic and insane. He ruled with oppression and tyranny, and bashed in the brains of any group that disobeyed or refused to kneel to him. Holy shit
It'sJustCasey psh...so did the governor and the people at terminus and the cops that killed beth. Negan is a piece. The several wives, the bowing, branding people, killing scared people in a brutal fashion in front of family and friends, locking people nude in a closet and feeding them dog food to easy street all day, and stole mattress for no other reason than to burn them. He never cared for carl. At one point he threatened to cut out his other eye and feed it to Rick. He executed people on there knees with a bat. Negan and people like him are the problem. Yea negan cares so much!!
Carl’s death was the one that ticked me off. It was heartbreaking for Glenn and when Carl died it was the point in the show where my favorite character died. I started watching with family and they got annoyed so I started and continued watching by myself. I stay cuz of Judith and (now Maggie) but Carl was the future of the show (he was the future in the comics too!!) and they made a BIG MISTAKE 😭 rip
Negan upset cause he knows He knows EXCATLY what it's like to lose someone And a kid, no doudt Negan always wanted a kid as well and saw the future in Carl to maybe make a better than what Negan could ever make or even Rick God this hurts
Dave Hron dude...she did RIGHT when it happened She turned into a walker and didnt have the strenght to kill her He not only lost her to cancer, but had to see her corpse come back to life to try and kill him He mentions it on the show And if you read the comics you would know
we all wish that tbh. That's why most of us were just rolling with this all out war part in the show so that way we could get to the badass Carl whisper wars stuff. Thanks Scott Gimple. Carl literally talks like Negan and even nearly beats 2 kids to death with a shovel and in the comic it looks identical to when Negan killed Glenn. Sorry if any of you are also into the comics and know all this already lol. Just bummed we'll never get to see that now...
Savage Wraith I wanted to see Carl almost beat two kids to death with a shovel and I was curious as to how Lydia was gonna play because he's with Enid. Welp rip, I gave up on the show anyway
Negan is pretty much a psychopath, his sense of morals and sympathy arent going to be very relatable or make "sense". He can like someone while still being a complete dick to them or even kill them. Point is, he is egocentric. He only sympathizes because he himself liked the kid and had "plans" for him, not much else.
I actually respect Negan in this scene, he could’ve laughed or did something evil, especially when Rick said imma kill you, Negan’s response was “how did it happen”. Negan is a lot of things but he did admire Carl, & he would’ve kill someone in his group if he found out it was one of them.
I think Negan really cared about Carl on some level. He did use to work with kids, right? And I could see the guilt when he asked if it was the saviors who killed him.
I believe this Negan started out as a Gym Teacher, so yeah, he was working with kids or teens at least. I know the Negan in the comics was a Car Dealer or something though.
Dude, Negan wanted to have Carl as a son, he is all he invisioned for a kid to come out of him, as he says in the comics: "I can't tell you how much i like that kid, i never had kids myself but if i had one i would want him to be just like Carl, a kid with B A L L Z"
You can actually tell Negan really cared about Carl. Feels even like if Negan felt it more than rick. Negan loved Carl. Even when Carl told him to stop when Carl was on top of the sanctuary that he wouldn’t mind dying to save everyone, Negan wanted to cry.
J Doss -- And during that scene, he also says that if he had a kid, he wished they could have been just like Carl. Then he says he likes him, and that he's going to try and do a mercy killing. Killing him as fast as he could. Look, Negan is pissed for being ambushed in that scene. Everything goes to hell for him, and out of anger... Negan signals Carl out. There's a similar moment in the comics too. Negan demands Carl to be thrown over Alexandria's walls because he wants to punish Carl. But after he makes that threat, he kinda laughs and admires the boy's defiance. Even if Negan were to kill Carl, Negan would have had intense regret/remorse. He doesn't want to kill a kid. He's not that monstrous. He still has a respect for kids since his days as a teacher. So, I wouldn't take that scene as is. There's a lot to interpret once you learn more about Negan.
TheFierceWolf I don't think Simon will allow that shit to happen to him Simon's character is to badass for that trash. Epically him being Trevor Phillips he would be the one doing the ironing. Besides he did the right thing that garbage people are constantly changing sides and spitting BUUUUUUULLLLLLLLLLLSHIIIIIT!!! they could not be trusted
+Solid Snake lol that was funny when he said "BUUUUUUULLLLLLLLLLLSHIIIIIT!!!" I hated The Garbage Freaks. They talked like cave men and switched sides as you said. They deserved being mown down. Even if Simon doesn't make it out alive, I will forever thank him for destroying those freaks! He did a good job. I applaud him.
yea coffee Carl didn't kill himself. Negan cares cause he was the future and was a badass. And Rick told Negan cause his only dead son gave him a letter to Negan which Rick's plan was to read it to him but instead he got pissed cause he's been fighting in a war lost many people and oh yeah his son
It's the Negan and Carl relationship, like it was in the comic books. If you paid attention, he never truly harmed Carl. It's just how they work, Carl was the one person Negan wouldn't kill :(
In the comics it was different, Negan said he was "the future", he didn't want to harm the kid. The show just takes different turns, and that was probably to make people find it more interesting.
Rosefinity He wanted to pull the same shit he did where he almost forced rick to chop carls arm off To break down Rick's sanity and make him more respectful and obedient If you read the comics neagan really cares for carl he wants him to grow up because he believed that carl would be an excellent leader for the Saviors since carl has the same point of view to the world just different ways to deal with things (neagan relies on fear to control everything but carl relies on peace and trust) So there was no way neagen would ever hurt someone who had nothing to do with the conflict they have between them specialy if they have a relation with each other
Negan is one of the most well written villains let alone characters in the history of tv shows and I genuinely mean it. He is constantly making us question if we should like him or not, constantly doing things to make us hate him then turning us back around on it. We really can't tell if he's truly an awful person, insane, or what. He is a brutal killer but he also has empathy and believes in a world with a system of rules. He has a heart. He seriously respects Rick even though he's his enemy, and had a great respect for Carl. He felt bad for Rick too, he really did. We know we should hate him but he's do damn charismatic and he has actual feelings. This is thanks to the writers and Jeffrey Dean Morgan I'm sure, it's just so perfectly done and acted. He is incredibly complex, and the fact that he reacted this way to Carl makes me so much more interested in him.
Galactic Jewels I just hope they wont make Negan look like a big joke in the end just like what happened to Ben in the tv series LOST...Ben was a scary villain at the start of that series then went on became a joke in the final seasons lol..
Just my thoughts that I had after watching this episode: We don't know what goes on through Negan's head. We don't know what goes on through Rick's head. Both of them are rash and make decisions we don't always see coming or understand. But we do know that Negan genuinely like Carl. He did. And it makes me wonder, after seeing him initially react to the news, and before Rick says it doesn't matter and he wants to kill him, if Negan would have agreed and said "okay lets talk." I can't help but think that Rick's decision to stay hostile caused the rest of the conversation and the inevitable continuation of this 'war.' Not to say the Negan is suddenly on board for peace, but it just looked like he was truly thinking of Carl and his request.
Pretty sure the idea is to make it so both parties are in the wrong so the war doesn't seem as ridiculous. In the comics, the entire war comes to a conclusion because in a dramatic and exilerating turn of events... Rick tells Negan he's wrong and Negan realizes he's right. That's it, that's what ended this whole conflict. In the show, they're trying to make it so the conclusion couldn't just have happened at any random time. Rick has to be wrong too, so that later he can realize it, change, and then convince Negan to change too. That could have happened in this scene, like you said, but Rick wasn't ready for it just yet.
I have never watched the season completely starting from season 6. I wouldn’t judge this situation, Im just guessing here. Negan probably grant Rick’s wish, but Negan will probably say something before he kills Negan and probably changed Rick’s mind. Because Carl wants peace, and Rick’s mentality right now is to kill Negan and doesn’t really grant Carl’s request. Im guessing that this war will be over after this season ends (duh). Some will die obviously but we don’t know who.
I know Rick and his people literally stormed the savior compound at night and slaughtered everyone. Because of talking to people they met? That could've been a workers place like the sanctuary.
TheGreatKhan Actually, Negan's people started it in episode 9 of season 6. Daryl, Sasha and Abraham met a few of them. They told them, that they "have" to kill one of the three and the other two had to bring them to Alexandria. They almost killed Sasha or Abraham, but Daryl saved them. Negan would've done the same thing to Alexandria, as they did to Hiltop and the Kingdom. So yeah... Negan isn't really the good guy here.
This might’ve been the last episode I watched. Idk anybody personally that still watches the show that used to watch it either. Once they kill most of the characters you cared for, you can’t continue caring for the show anymore. Also, it’s not about the zombies and their mysterious origin anymore. It’s just about groups fighting against other groups.
i mean the comic book series does have negan being caputured by rick and i think carl's letters weighs a lot on ricks decision to spare negan's life in the end. then again the show doesn't always follow the comic book series either.
The reason Carl died was FOR Negan to live. Scott Gimple literally said he couldn't find a reason Rick would let Negan live like in the comics. But if Carl's last wish was part of sparing his life, Rick would come to honor that.
TheNextWriter the biggest hint that he has come to a conclusion that HE WON'T KILL NEGAN is because he said something along the lines like: "my mercy prevails over my wrath". This totally leads on to his decision to spare Negan' s life. Although we may have thought that Rick was pertaining to Carl after burying him, he said that right when he had an inflicted wound.
One thing we know about Rick, if he promises he's going to kill you, rest assured he means it. As Gareth found out on the receiving end of a red handled Machete. So Negan is seriously fucked.
Rose R. Honestly. Idk. Morgan does have a jail. And The "my mercy prevails over my wrath" thing. Maybe Rick will let Negan live. For Carl's memory. Idk. We have to wait and see.
Carl's gone, Rick's mia, and now, the writers are hinting that Darryl next to go, and if that happens, amc is gonna have a war on their hands. I'm glad I quit the show before Carl died, cause from what I've heard, its gonna get worse, alot worse.
well i wouldnt call him selfish lets just remember that all this started because rick and co killed some of negans people and he only killed one and wanted them to work for him and yeah you gotta admit since this happened rick and the others did some really dumb dessicions
Im not sure where this idea came from that a villain is just some boring two dimensional heartless monster. A good antagonist has redeeming and relatable qualities. He’s still a villain.
Itachi Uchiha Negan is shown to be a charismatic, manipulative, brutal and ferocious sociopathic man with a sarcastic, inappropriate sense of humor. Negan is a brilliant strategist and a strong, effective leader, having kept hundreds of people alive and is worshipped by many and feared by others. He appears to have complete control over his vast group and is questioned by no one, acting as a complete dictator. Negan also acts like a cult leader, as The Saviors all kneel in his presence and when asked who they are, they all respond in unison "Negan". Negan appears to care about the well-being of his group as shown when he personally killed Abraham as punishment for the slaughter of many of his soldiers at the hands of Rick and his group. Negan believes that he alone can save the people around him and is willing to do whatever it takes to insure their survival. Negan is extremly ruthless and will do whatever it takes to obtain resources and supplies for his group by extorting from multiple communities, threatening them with death if they do not obey his demands or do not supply the necessary amount of supplies. Negan is shown to be a completely remorseless, cold-blooded killer who kills not just for survival, but to send a message and as punishment for disobedience as seen when he brutally murdered Glenn after Daryl attacked him even after he made it very clear he would punish anyone who provoked him. He also has no respect to those he views as being weak as he brutally slaughtered Spencer after he attempted to convince him to kill Rick, claiming he had no guts to do it himself. He explained to Father Gabriel that he wants to help people through their weaknesses and by being strong he makes the world strong. This may explain why he uses fear as an instrument to keep people in line. By being hard on people he makes them stronger and more inclined to survive. In addition, Negan has great respect for those he views as strong, both physically and emotionally, and those who show bravery and defiance against him. This is shown when he immediately took a liking towards Daryl for standing up to him and punching him in the face, even though Negan punished Daryl by killing his friend Glenn. Negan did the same thing with Rosita, when she tried to shoot him but shot Lucille instead, and although he admired her bravery, he angrily punished her by killing her comrade Olivia. However, despite his very harsh treatment towards Rick and doing everything he can to insult and intimidate Rick, Negan shows great respect for Rick and his leadership skills. He even explains to Spencer that although Rick hates him and wants him dead, Rick is swallowing his hate and gathering stuff to Negan so that Negan does not harm anyone else in Alexandria, and Negan admires and respect that. After Carl tricks Negan so that the people of Alexandria can escape, Negan openly admits respect and admiration for Carl's actions despite the fact that it caused Negan to lose the confrontation. He is also shown capable of severe torture and will mutilate whoever does not follow his rules, such as Dwight and Mark whose face he burned with a hot clothing iron. Negan however has stated that he hates performing this form of punishment, but also sees it as necessary as his rules matter. Negan will also employ psychological forms of torture as seen when he nearly made his enemy,Rick, chop his own son's arm off to break him completely, being the only antagonist to do so. Negan is also highly prone to psychological warfare and is extremely good at manipulating and breaking most people into submitting to him. Furthermore, Negan has openly admitted that he enjoys killing people, especially men, while he does not enjoy killing women if he feels that he has to. Negan doesn't kill unless he feels that it's necessary. He stated to Gregory that he likes killing people, but under the right circumstances. He was enraged by Simon's suggestion that they kill all of the Hilltop residents, because to him people are a source. It appears that he is not above killing children and adolescents as he allowed his group to kill a 16 year old boy when they first encountered the Hilltop Colony and also all boys over the age of 10 years old from another group, Oceanside, who attempted to fight back, and is further proven by his further attempt to kill Carl.
Rick's and Negan's conversation was the best part of the episode, in addition to Simon's adventures. As I mentioned earlier, Negan's security texts would work much better if Negan was not made a complete psycho in Season 7. But anyway, Negan was right here, blaming Rick. This conversation was very well played.
I’ll be honest, I like what they did with Carls death. It showed us a whole new rick. What I didn’t like thought was that less than a season later rick is off the show.. making Carl’s death and essentially his whole character useless in the scope of the whole show
jason bourne YEAH,Rick should have killed negan, not be nice and let him live!Negan stole Maggie’s husband and there chance for a kid, killed Abraham, ruined dewight and his wife’s relationship and now wants to turn someone’s son into a soilder for his own gain. HELL NO!!! Negan CROSSed the line !!!!!!!! Good thing rick sliced that scum and ended his miserable pathetic excuses to live in his crap society!!! I just wish rick murder negan after all he did to ricks family
I love the character of Negan. The actor is great. But I love how Negan, if you dig under a few layers, is actually a good, compassionate, and caring individual. He's a great example of how both power corrupts, and how a cruel world can turn even the honourable, into the ruthless.
bshxh I feel like thats not even what Carl said in the letter, the text was huge and he only said 4 words, they would not have wrote a whole thing if that was it.

The Consolian I don’t think Maggie will stand seeing him chill around Hill Top.
Morghann spoiler warning!!!!! ⚠️
Maggie takes a wile to forgive Negan, but she does, but rick is the hard head. The garden scene is foreshadowing, Negan becomes a good guy, and helps out. There is still tension though for wile, especially with rick and Negan. But then again, there isn’t much peace in the future either.
Have you read the comic?
The shit is fucking retarded in the comic. If they do that one the show, it will be a death sentence.
I am not growing a garden
I feel like negan was talking for the show writers.
Talking for the audience too😖

Negan truly cared about Carl and was clearly devastated when he learned about his death. He was a great antihero.
More of an antivillain.
He was not an antihero lol
How did he care about Carl he tried to make his dad cut his arm off, And he tried to kill him twice he would have succeeded if it wasn't for shiva
Why does rick handle his sons death better than Lori’s ?
Gypsy Princess he's more used to it now
He's a lot stronger now
He came to grips with carls death last season. during all out war.
He wasn't there when Lori died, but he was there for Carl.
Lol, one of the last survivors on the planet where half the people are dead? That is quite a bit of survivors...
Ge@r&@rcher if he lives he will obviously eventually escape, maybe not like in the comics, but he will

[marbardan] Negan > Rick. Rick has no soul left anymore. He is a mindless killing machine now. Rick started all this by ambushing the Savior’s camps and murdering the people
in the sanctuary in their sleep. How long before we see Rick is the villian? How long did it take us to figure out Walter White aka Heisenberg had become a bad guy? The show tune our minds to make us think the main characters are the good guys. That’s not how plot points work anymore.
[marbardan] That's because Negan genuinely liked Carl.
[marbardan] negan really liked carl, same in the comics

Has everyone just forgotten that Negan was about to take Carl's head off with Lucille before he was stopped?
He didn't want to. He was doing it to punish Rick.
No negan has always had that moral compass of not hurting children and he was never gonna harm Carl..He had even said that he played that counting game for fun,and he already had his targets selected
gagandeep singh I think your getting confused with the Abraham and Glenn thing that’s what he thought out If I remember correctly
Ruben Hernandez Jesus Christ, it’s amazing how delusional you people are. Negan is sadistic and insane. He ruled with oppression and tyranny, and bashed in the brains of any group that disobeyed or refused to kneel to him. Holy shit

He never cared for carl. At one point he threatened to cut out his other eye and feed it to Rick.
He executed people on there knees with a bat. Negan and people like him are the problem.

pretty tragic considering how much of a badass carl was set to become with the whole whisperer storyline
Should've stayed in the house, Coral

we all wish that tbh.
I think they did that to throw comic fans off their trail cause now we don't know how whisper wars will start.
He was pretty upset about it, and that genuinely shows in this scene.
Savage Wraith I wanted to see Carl almost beat two kids to death with a shovel and I was curious as to how Lydia was gonna play because he's with Enid. Welp rip, I gave up on the show anyway
If he cared so much about Carl then why did he try to kill him last season unless he was just bluffing
Master Of Disguise it was a bluff
He would have smashed Corals head if it weren't for Shiva
It was just a prank bro
He liked Carl. Doesn't mean he wouldn't kill Carl
Dude, Negan wanted to have Carl as a son, he is all he invisioned for a kid to come out of him, as he says in the comics:
"I can't tell you how much i like that kid, i never had kids myself but if i had one i would want him to be just like Carl, a kid with B A L L Z"
Malakar Von Stroheim he said something similar in the show too, something like "if I had a kid, i'd want him to be just like you (Carl)"

You can actually tell Negan really cared about Carl. Feels even like if Negan felt it more than rick. Negan loved Carl. Even when Carl told him to stop when Carl was on top of the sanctuary that he wouldn’t mind dying to save everyone, Negan wanted to cry.
Yet he was going to bash Carl's head in
J Doss 🤷🏻♀️
Mallory Carll well put 👏🏼

It's the Negan and Carl relationship, like it was in the comic books. If you paid attention, he never truly harmed Carl. It's just how they work, Carl was the one person Negan wouldn't kill :(
Negan was fond of Carl. They were pretty close.
Bish I'm- Too Lazy To Finish This lol he was about kill carl when that Tiger hadnt interrupted.
In the comics it was different, Negan said he was "the future", he didn't want to harm the kid. The show just takes different turns, and that was probably to make people find it more interesting.
Rare moment of empathy from Negan, he’s like “damn I can act like a normal human again for a few” instead of a warlord
>"I had plans, that kid was the future"
Literally 6 episodes ago you were gonna bash his head in
Haha
you do pay attention to the show right?
Exactly what I was thinking, he would have killed Corral himself, if they didn't get rescued the very last moment.
Rosefinity
He wanted to pull the same shit he did where he almost forced rick to chop carls arm off
To break down Rick's sanity and make him more respectful and obedient
If you read the comics neagan really cares for carl he wants him to grow up because he believed that carl would be an excellent leader for the Saviors since carl has the same point of view to the world just different ways to deal with things
(neagan relies on fear to control everything but carl relies on peace and trust)
So there was no way neagen would ever hurt someone who had nothing to do with the conflict they have between them specialy if they have a relation with each other
Negan is one of the most well written villains let alone characters in the history of tv shows and I genuinely mean it.
Yeah and he's against rape too which makes him even better.
Galactic Jewels Negan and Gus from Breaking Bad are my 2 top villains in tv.
Galactic Jewels he’s a good character but came a few seasons to late in the show
I agree 100%
Negan says Carl was the future, after he had already tried to kill him.
@Andrew Ybarra He was seconds away from smashing Carl's head, until the tiger showed up.
Just my thoughts that I had after watching this episode:
We don't know what goes on through Negan's head.
MsBananahsplit Yeah, and Negan was just about to start growing a garden, too. lol.
I gotta say, negan is a damn good character and i really like the comic version of him. And they did a good job on the show!
TWD turned to shit when it became a normie show.
Way to go on breaking Carl's promise Rick
sorry. but negan needs to be put to death.
John Doe No, Rick needs to be put to death. He started by killing Negans people in season 6. Always rooting for the main Character.
I know Rick and his people literally stormed the savior compound at night and slaughtered everyone. Because of talking to people they met? That could've been a workers place like the sanctuary.
TheGreatKhan
Actually, Negan's people started it in episode 9 of season 6.
John Doe they both do. Rick is just as crazy.
Ricks voice always gives me goosebumps when he is angry. Amazing actor.

i mean the comic book series does have negan being caputured by rick and i think carl's letters weighs a lot on ricks decision to spare negan's life in the end. then again the show doesn't always follow the comic book series either.
The reason Carl died was FOR Negan to live. Scott Gimple literally said he couldn't find a reason Rick would let Negan live like in the comics. But if Carl's last wish was part of sparing his life, Rick would come to honor that.
TheNextWriter In the comics, he spared Negan to see how wrong his methods are and tries to show him a better way.
I am wondering how the next arc will be, if there is even a next arc in the series, Carl is a HUGE part in the next arc with the Whisperers
Gerson Sint Jago It will probably be carried it through another character as much as that sucks.
In that moment it feels like Negan would’ve actually given Rick an Olive Branch but ultimately would’ve betrayed him

well i wouldnt call him selfish lets just remember that all this started because rick and co killed some of negans people and he only killed one and wanted them to work for him and yeah you gotta admit since this happened rick and the others did some really dumb dessicions
Itachi Uchiha Just because he has a heart doesn't make him a good person
Im not sure where this idea came from that a villain is just some boring two dimensional heartless monster. A good antagonist has redeeming and relatable qualities. He’s still a villain.
Itachi Uchiha Negan is shown to be a charismatic, manipulative,
brutal and ferocious sociopathic man with a sarcastic, inappropriate sense of humor.
So i think that he's a villain.
Rick just seemed to be more annoyed than devastated and heartbroken by Carl's death.
I love how Negan genuinely cares that COOOORRRRAAAAAL is dead. His had a soft spot for him, and it breaks mah heart.
Even after Carls death Rick sticks to his ego. Meh.
I’ll be honest, I like what they did with Carls death. It showed us a whole new rick. What I didn’t like thought was that less than a season later rick is off the show.. making Carl’s death and essentially his whole character useless in the scope of the whole show
We just going to forget that Negan was going to kill Carl himself
yessss!
Rick NEVER learns Shane tried to tell him!!
Rick has too much ego.. And that the reason of most of the death in the show..
jason bourne YEAH,Rick should have killed negan, not be nice and let him live!Negan stole Maggie’s husband and there chance for a kid, killed Abraham, ruined dewight and his wife’s relationship and now wants to turn someone’s son into a soilder for his own gain. HELL NO!!! Negan CROSSed the line !!!!!!!! Good thing rick sliced that scum and ended his miserable pathetic excuses to live in his crap society!!! I just wish rick murder negan after all he did to ricks family
@@HomemadeCollectibles Do you even know why Negan killed Abraham and Glenn in the first place?
jason bourne And where is Shane now? OH, that’s right! He’s dead!
I love the character of Negan. The actor is great. But I love how Negan, if you dig under a few layers, is actually a good, compassionate, and caring individual. He's a great example of how both power corrupts, and how a cruel world can turn even the honourable, into the ruthless.
negan should have just read the letter himself. would have had a bigger impact on him
Kerm Star Right
bshxh I feel like thats not even what Carl said in the letter, the text was huge and he only said 4 words, they would not have wrote a whole thing if that was it.
Well I mean Rick probably summed it up. Carl was probably giving Negan reasons for ending this. Like all the stuff he dreamed.
TheNextWriter Well, I know what he did, but I am pretty sure there is much more to it
Rick coul toss the letter to negan when he "arrests" him at the end of the war with the saviors
Right here when Rick was talking about how it doesn’t matter it gave me flashbacks to the Governor when he was outside the prison.
“that kid was the future”
1:01 I miss Andrew Lincoln, his portrayal as Rick was my favorite part of the show. At least we still got Daryl around
Fr!!
I legit cried when I saw Negan tearing up
This show had so much potential. They’ve turned it into a ridiculous one. Killed off so many good points
It’s moments like these that make you forget Negan was going to bash Carl’s head in...
ikr
I hate Scott Gimple.
"Well I would've bashed his brains with Lucille if it wasn't for that tiger showing up, but man... I feel bad that he's dead."
