This is again a very nice video of you. Looks like a great hike. It's very beautiful there. Very impressive landscape. I really enjoyed watching. Many greetings 😀
Thank you so much, my friend! This hike is definitely awesome! It had beautiful scenery the whole way through! I'm very happy you enjoyed the video, and thanks again!!
wow that is a pretty amazing slot canyon! love the red canyon views all the way to it as well, this is an Awesome hike thanks so much for taking us with you
Yeah, it was a great hike, and I am really glad that I finally did it! You really can't go wrong with any hikes at Valley of Fire. Thanks again, brother!
I'd really like to do this hike. 28 degrees at the start... brave man! Views are incredible and no people! Man, it just keeps getting better! Great slot!
Yeah, we reached our peak cold, that's for sure out here! Where you live, that's probably normal this time of year, lol. Yeah, it was a great hike! Very colorful, cool rock formations and an awesome slot canyon! Thanks, Randy, for checking this out, my friend!
Awesome hike, Eric! We've got Valley of Fire and Gold Butte on our agenda for our March vacation and we're looking forward to it. Thanks for all of the recommendations!
Gold Butte is unreal, and you will totally enjoy it! Valley of Fire has so much great hiking! I'm working on another video right now from there that I'm gonna put out on Saturday. I am extremely happy to hear that my videos are helping you plan your trip. Thanks, brother!
This hike was definitely awesome! I really enjoyed this adventure! I'm glad you liked what I showed you! Thank you so much for watching and commenting!
Great video, as always. I didn't even know about this trail. I just downloaded it in my AllTrails app. In my late 70s, I won't try to do the whole thing. My goal will be to make it to the little scramble section at 5:17, then declare a great victory and return to the trailhead happy as can be.
Oh yeah, honestly, that's a good turnaround point. It's so extremely beautiful that whole section! You can't go wrong with that. I'm glad I'm showing you a new trail and that you're gonna try it. I know you too well now, and you'll do it probably way sooner than later. Thanks for watching!
@@adventuringoutdoorswitheric I live in Texas actually. My Husband and I visit Vegas to hike about once a year, usually for a week. But this year I'm hoping to make it out more for long weekend hikes if we can swing it. I like to say, I never had an obsession until I saw the desert.
I take it the place got it's name from the summer time temperatures I can just imagine how hot it would get, yes the views of the rock formations along the trail were amazing and that slot canyon might of been at the end but was cool to go through (it seemed very narrow) take care brother until the next one
It looks like Valley Of Fire got it name from someone who purportedly said that the entire valley looked like it was on fire; hence the name. So it's for the red rocks, but it still gets crazy hot here in the summertime. The hike and the slot canyon were pretty awesome! It's most definitely worth getting up early in the morning to do! Thanks, Craig! Much appreciated, brother 🙏.
Yikes! Looks like a cold morning! Do you get much wind out that way? Just wondering if you have to worry about any wind chill or if you are just focused on that actual temp. Lots of great comments on this hike - sounds like you really enjoyed it! It's nice when a trail surprises us and its better than expected.
Yeah, it was a pretty cold start, but luckily, it warmed up nicely later on. We do have very windy days here. But I don't go out hiking when it's like that. This is about as cold as we get out here. It's not normally this cold. I was enjoying the hike a lot, especially since I've never done it before, and I didn't know exactly what to expect. But i'm glad I finally crossed this one off my list. Thanks, Josh!
Amazing hike Eric ❤ the rock formations and light were perfect. Amazing slot canyon and tons of solitude made getting up so early so worth it
Yeah, the hike was great, and I am really happy to finally do it! It's very beautiful and fun the entire hike through! Thank you so much, Nicole 🙂.

Thank you so much for watching! Are you a local, or do you just visit Las Vegas from time to time?

@ghoulmask7301 Oh, that's really awesome! I was thinking you were a local from all the hikes you told me you had done already! Yes, great hiking here!
@@adventuringoutdoorswitheric I wish I was! I just have to take notes and live vicariously through channels like yours in-between trips :)

@@adventuringoutdoorswitheric though red rocks must real cool (well hot like on fire) when you get a nice red in the sky sunset
