A very good explanation of the cons of a reverse mortgage. Many of my clients are confused and fearful of reverse mortgages, This fear and confusion comes because most realtors and loan officers themselves do not take the time to really come to know what a reverse mortgage is and how to explain it. Talking about both the cons and pros in a way their clients can understand a reverse mortgage is very important. Does the reverse mortgage fit their needs or not? It should be the goal of any professional agent to speak to their clients about mortgages of all kinds.

I'm not sure if it was the case at the time of this video but in California where I live, they require that you have a discussion with a professional as to what a reverse mortgage means before they will approve you for one. I am happy they do that as I'm sure it can provide answers to any questions I might have😊
