Best show I've ever been to in my entire life. Enough with the nitpicking. I've been raving for over 15 years. Seen it all..but this, this was next level.
At a cool amount of mushrooms and I sobbed uncontrollably, saw God, had to text my mother I loved her, etc lol def the best experience ever. I can confirm that the sound in GA was amazing.
Went on the first night in GA. The sound quality from GA was top notch, so much so that I actually took my Loop earplugs out of my ears as there wasn’t an excessive amount of bass. The only downside was almost falling back a few times when you’re trying to take in all of the visuals lol
I was in the GA section and I felt like that was the absolute best live sound I've ever heard. Superior to any line array set up I've ever heard at any festival. I really hope you go GA section next time bro. Glad you made this review video though!! I bought your genesis pack a while back btw hehe
I 100% Agee and I’m glad I’m not the only one because I’ve been praising his LA outdoor performance literally the best sound production I’ve ever heard. I’ve been going to high budget concerts for decades now. And that easily was the best I ever heard by far. So it’s nice to know that it wasn’t just in my head haha
Went on 2 nights, the 28th and 29th, both on the floor GA. Absolutely stunning production! Been to so many concerts, but nothing compares to this level of show. The merch was worth it btw! Drinks were reasonable for it being Vegas. Absolutely amazing time all around!
The spatial audio system has been the one complaint about the sphere design from the beginning. It's amazing, because the directionalization of the bass frequencies, but your complaint is similar to others about sound quality. They're working on corrections already for the Dubai version. The speaker system was designed about 5 years ago, with not a lot of updates closer to completion of the venue. I remember looking at the plans, and thinking....huh, that's going to be something interesting if they don't re-do the designs by the time the place opens.
@robertlemiesz7143 I think you kind of misunderstood my point, I wasn't saying that it was cheap . When you build a structure you have to get bids and approvals and then build the structures around those materials. The materials were chosen 5 years ago before the facility opened . With audio The speakers weren't updated because the enclosures were already built. What I was saying is just that they had used materials that is older and in technology. It moves so quickly that there are newer and better speakers available now to make that upgrade. Make no mistake. The audio cost a whole crap ton of money to install into the facility. It is not cheap.
What section were you sitting in? Did your seats have the haptic pads that they turned on during Anyma’s set? We sat in section 203 and when they used the haptic effect it was awesome.
I went the first two nights and had all access. You’re 100% right about the sound. It was perfect right next to Anyma but way too low in any of the seats 300 and above. Either way. It was such an amazing show that I’ll never forget.
Went night 3 and had an incredible time experience. Unreal sound quality, the scenes were cinematic, and everyone I was around in GA had great vibes. 11/10 would go again
So with the sphere, the audio is the same throughout the entire dome, meaning what they hear in the first row is what you hear in the top. They also made it to where you could hear English, while the person next to you hears a different language. It wasn't made for club music. There's a video on YT about it, and it explains in detail the audio set up
Went on 2 nights, the 28th and 29th, absolutely stunning production! Been to so many concerts, but nothing compares to this level of show. The merch was worth it btw! Drinks were reasonable for it being Vegas. Absolutely amazing time all around!
I actually went two times and the sound on the seats was way better than the GA floor. But you are right it was very centered and monophonic. The seats also added to the bass which at times was missing at the GA floor.
You go for both, just as anyma wants you to do. There is absolutely nothing wrong in going for the visuals either, that is what the sphere is meant for
The show was amazing. I saw in every level. I went three nights in a row. I agree with you if you’re sitting in the section 400 the sound could be a little louder. I sat in section 200 and 2nd night and it was amazing section 100 amazing but you can’t see all the visuals because you’re obstruction from the level above you overall the best music experience I’ve ever had. It’s a must see.
Haven't seen him live personally, but tbh i always feel like Anyma is way overhyped. Not the visuals, they are insane... But the music isn't really, i guess up there with the visuals...? Always feels like one of those fancy "Influencer / Instagrammer restaurants", that looks insane on the Gram, but when you go there, you're a little disappointed because it's just mid food that happens to be presented very well. I'm more of a industrial techno guy myself though - maybe that's part of it... Also maybe the vibe if you're there is insane. But overall, from what i've seen (and heard) so far, it feels like it's something people go to, so they can post on social media and show off. Idk.
No, it’s subjective just like everything else in life. I personally really like his music I listen to it without visuals and would attend even without it 🤷🏻♀️
tbh the merch wasn't that expensive given that his other shows the march is $150+, it was my third time going to sphere, 2nd time seeing a favorite artist of mine, I sat in the same section for all 3 shows I have been to Sphere and it was still so awesome. It lived up to the hype in my eyes and happy I got to experience an Anyma show / set outside of a festival.
Even in the 106 sounded bad ass I was on row 24 which it was ok for the whole visuals, but it was good espacial the count down for new years , best sounds I heard
The acustica of the venue is tricky Is a bit oval so if they turn up the sound on the dancefloor will become muddy So they put this limit and definitely upstairs won't sound good.
Great video. It seems they have higher BPM techno DJs opening up for Anyma, which based on what little I've seen online doesn't seem to make sense. They're not going to have his visuals and pairing regular techno with a melodic artist just so a few DJs can claim they played at the Sphere just doesn't make a lot of sense from an artistic perspective.
The music coming from “down there” direction as opposed to being immersed in it is so on point! That’s exactly what I was saying to the people standing next to me and I was in middle middle so theoretically that and GA should have been the perfect spot. I still think it was the most insane out of this world show I’ve ever seen and it still single handedly ruined all other concerts for me lol. But the sphere really did drop the ball (sphere) with the sound production. And I know it’s not ANYMA’s crew’s fault because I’ve seen him at an open air afterlife festival and have been singing its praises ever since naming it THE best sound production I’ve ever heard! And that’s especially difficult to achieve at an outdoors venue. But for real tje sphere was a bit of a letdown as far as the sound distribution. I feel like I’ve been enveloped in surround sound way better at movie theaters… I expected the sphere to outperform a regular ass AMC lol. ANYMA was amazing and the visuals were amazing but they need to work on this sound enveloping experience better
only during a couple visuals when the visuals are moving really fats, Theres a visual where Eva falls down and is flying and its going really fast and we are flying with her and I was standing and I grabbed the chair because it felt like I was falling
Anyma was always known for the visuals - not his fault attracting Instagram people. Looks sick, I prolly would film something too. It is what it is, can't hate it, Looks like great entertainment
So sad I will miss it. I am in Vegas in February... If the Jesus freaks hated this, I really hope Rezz does a show there to make them lose their MINDS!
I respect Anyma along with the afterlife label stuff but the music feels pretty empty. INCREDIBLE sound design, but there's no emotions that really hit me.
Suits the kids just fine, they have no foundations for why they are even at these events so they may aswell have something to look at, for they are not there for any music, its all about the notifications on their videos on Monday morning
I was in the original 2000s trance era and can confirm I really like ANYMA’s music and would attend even without visuals. And I’m there to dance not to record. 📵

The Sphere looks sick no matter who's in there, but I can't subscribe to Anyma/Tale of Us. That overused bass/synth stab they do does my head in now. I saw them in Spain and it was exactly like the videos on social media - just loads of people on their phones. We missed Ben Bohmer for them too 😢

It was easy to tel that it was a money grab .I live in Vegas and didnt bother to go because of this alone. I saw a video that someone posted of the whole show and all I. heard was most of the audience, which is weird. I'd expect to have to yell and not just talk at normal volumes. wild that they would spend billions constructing this then skimp on the sound quality.
