Hands Behind GoodEarth - Tinu Joseph

Landscaping with thoughtful planting, pathways that both converge and separate, giving the residents a sense of privacy and community, and the myriad gardens set GoodEarth Malhar, spread out on 50 acres, apart. Great care and attention has been paid to planting. Native varieties of trees, shrubs, creepers, flowering plants specifically to attract bees and butterflies, thick foliage, well-maintained green paths are a haven for innumerable species of birds, insects and aquatic life.
Team led by Tinu Joseph has been able to create the landscaping and nurture the gardens across the projects of GoodEarth as per the vision of the Design team. A native of Kottayam in Kerala, Tinu Joseph has been a part of GoodEarth for the past 12 years. As a manager of landscaping and gardening of the various projects of GoodEarth, Tinu works with a tight-knit team of three supervisors and a host of experienced gardeners. Creating gardens as per the design team’s plan forms the crux of Tinu’s work. Leading his team he oversees landscaping work which begins after the completion of the civil work and starts with clearing the construction debris, filling the land with soil, creating pathways, lighting, irrigation, and ends with planting.
From sourcing and buying plants from outside to starting GoodEarth’s own nursery in 2014 with more than 750 varieties of plants now, Tinu has played a key role in landscaping and creating gardens for the various projects of GoodEarth.
Tinu and his team’s interaction with naturalist H Manjunath since 2018, has taken gardening a notch above. Treading the natural path through the use of Panchagavya, Jeevamrutha, kashaya et al, under the guidance of H Manjunath, has added a new dimension to Tinu’s work.
Tinu with his wife, who works as a nurse, and two daughters is a happy man.
