And that something? Rocko.
He is escaping from the darkness that keeps growing.

What he did with the frosted glass making the tv light up is crazy. We genuinely don’t appreciate how genius and talented this man is.

I used to design devices with light pipes and spreaders. It's a VERY precise skill and we could get a panel this size fully lit from one tiny LED. Great work here though. Worked a bloody treat.

@@ThatCraftyCorner Well they do generally eat bugs. Some even catch fish, rodents, birds, snakes, and other frogs, if they’re big enough, so they’re definitely predators. Some of them at least, if we’re not counting eating bugs as being a full on predator. I believe the general reason is so they can submerge themselves while keeping their eyes above water, but that’s usually used for waiting for prey to walk by, so it’s probably still a predatory evolutionary tactic.
Fun fact: when I was a kid I used to be terrified of puppets, Elmo included. This is literally my childhood nightmare. I'm glad this released now, because if I saw this as a kid I wouldn't be sleeping for at least a day or two.

Faking the TV wires with wires actually going to the TV for practical reasons is genuine genius problem-solving. Simultaneously faking the TV wires, using the actual TV wires? Come on dude, that's sick. Also, frosting the Perspex to diffuse the light is also incredibly intelligent and resourceful. I do wish the light strips were a cool white to emulate the blue light of a TV but the warm white fits the warm and cosy aesthetic of Sesame Street anyway so it works fine.

I find it genius that Adam hid the wiring of the sculpture by making a fake power strip. The concept scratches my brain (in a good way)!

It could of been improved if he covered the wire into1 black wire, that TV doesn't pass UL standards lol.

10:20 a rare treat for a sculpture with leds in it to logically have wires and thus no need to hide them
thing is, about all muppets, most of the time you only see from the waist up, often thought about them being arachnids, some form of tarantula thats trying to put good pr on themselves

What's the music used for this
These days it's much harder for creepy things to crawl out of the tv to kill you as the prevelance of wall-mounted flatscreens means there's usually a substantial drop from tv to floor, and faceplanting upon emergence tends to ruin the terrifying atmosphere
Sadako would have had serious wardrobe malfunctions trying to get that dress and hair out of a wall mounted TV
I actually remember this meme going around about playing sadako's tape on one of those ceiling TVs inside a walmart and a bunch of people made fanart redraws of all the different ways she'd be able to get down from the ceiling including but not limited to: A) a ladder, B) parachute, and C) sniper rifle

really smart of you to give the screen a orange-ish shade to make it look like it was turning dusk. Seeing as making is a dark blue for night is far to obvious and making it dusk is far more unique and creative 😁

Elmo comes not as a monster, but a herald, for if he can escape their world, so can the others.
This channel has single headedly forced me to love static grass, I get legitimately excited each time I see it. I don't know when this change occurred by we're here now.
I really love these little scenes so much more, as they tell so much of the story you have invisioned. Gentle hugs all.
The gloss during the beginning of the Glamour Shots almost look like tears as it was on Elmo's fur (unintentionally) making it appear instead that he is reaching in to save a kid who is being hurt instead.
Wouldn't surprise me if that was the case.
I love and relate to this interpretation. Like a child in an abusive household using maladaptive daydreaming to imagine someone actually helping.
And wanting their comfort character to literally come to life to comfort them, it's just still distorted by the darkness and trauma they're going through.

When I was little, the "yep yep" aliens from sesame street (who sang the "family" song) used to shimmer through their spaceship to come sing to us. I was *terrified* of them, and would run crying when they came on the TV because I thought they might shimmer through the TV and into my living room to come get me. This video was a wild ride!

the gloss from his eye leaked a bit onto his head and it kinda looks like he's crying. Elmo's actually terrified and the real horror has yet to come through the tv.

I was obsessed with Snuffleupagus when I was 2 and 3 years old (I was born in '89). I had this old plush of them I had with me everywhere.
The weird part is, after that part of my life, I wasn't really a Seasame Street fan whatsoever. I never really watched it after, lol. I honestly couldn't stand Elmo most of my childhood. 😂

The little bits of varnish at the base of elmo's eyes makes it look like he's crying and trying his hardest to escape some massacre on Sessame street.

That frosted glass was a brilliant solution. Was genuinely curious where you were going with that since my first thought was that it would make it hard to make out the image but that came out incredibly well.
