I've played this as well as Lotro. Playing DDO got me my lotro beta invite :) My favorite solo class was a Warforged Wizard Necromancer. I stealthed around and let my pets do most of the work.
How easy is the DDO user interface compared to LOTRO? I've been playing LOTRO so long a lot of other games feel weird and confusing even when it comes to basic stuff like moving around and doing basic attacks.
I think it will take some adjustments, but some of the hotkeys are similar. The menus themselves and tabs are a bit confusing, but I think thats just because its new. I am finding that the adjustment to the DnD terminology is a bigger adjustment. Having a good time so far.

I played with an ally who was Warforged! They had a cool pet dog and some great utility.
I finally got my DDO account sorted out and started playing a little today. If you ever see Zaama in the game, wave hello!
I definitely will!

@@mooreaper Thanks! And that's great - I've been a D&D nerd for going on 40 years, so I really should give DDO another try.
