    I was able to upgrade to this from my old crappy phone, I’m really happy I was able to get this on sale for $65 with 1 day shipping ( $5 shipping ) I don’t care about too much else than speed when it comes to my smart phones and this is a definite upgrade for me with that processor speed. Processing speed and battery life are my 2 mains and this has both for a great price right now.

    If you want this phone to run slightly & seemingly faster just enable developer options & turn the animation speeds from 1.5 to .5 you'll notice the change & you'll do it to all your devices enjoy

      @@Hdksoscickf I just ordered one of these because it was too good of a deal to pass up so I can't say specifically with this phone because it hasn't arrived yet; however, on every other Android I've owned you get into the Developer Options menu by rapidly tapping the device's Build Number seven times. You can find it in the About Phone section. After you do that you'll get a pop-up congratulating you on becoming a developer. Then you have to back out and try to find it in the Settings menu. They intentionally make it unintuitive to find because a lot of the stuff in there can mess up your phone if you fiddle with it. The non-Samsung tablet I'm typing this on has it under the System submenu.
      Anyways once you've found it and okayed the pop-up that says, "Warning, messing around in here can break stuff" then scroll down until you see Window Animation Scale, Transition Animation Scale, and Duration Scale. They will almost always be grouped together. Once you've found them, tap each one and set it to either "Off" or "0.5X". Off makes things marginally quicker than 0.5X; but it looks a lot choppier because it turns off all the animations while 0.5X keeps the animations for smoothness, but they finish up twice as quick as the stock 1X. I go with 0.5X. Any number bigger than 1 makes the phone feel even slower. After that just hit the Home button and you're good to go. The changes made will persist through turning the phone off and on, so, you shouldn't have to do this again until/unless you factory reset the phone.

    • @sndfsxdated2896
      @sndfsxdated2896 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well actually all Android phones are programmed to 1x and to get to the developer options you have to go to about phone go to build number click it five times and you'll be able to access developer options then you go there and you scroll down you'll see three tabs They will all say 1x click it and change it to 0.5

    Thanks for the review.
    I have both of these phones, one drawback of A03s compared to A02s is that it doesn't have a charger controller, so in applications like AccuBattery it doesn't work or unlike A02s you can not manually turn the fast charge on and off from within the menu.
    Other than that, in other cases, it has improved compared to A02s or at least are equal.

    I think there's a limit to what people need. Just like how pens had huge innovation hundreds of years ago, but eventually today- a pen is a pen.
    You can buy a parker pen if you want, but the standard run of the mill $3 pen is going to be more than enough.

    I just got this phone 2 days ago. Still getting acquainted with all the functions but I like it. I only have 2 issues.
    1. Was hoping there was an option to adjust clock size other than while not using it.
    And 2. I can't, for the life of me, pair my earbuds or speaker to the phone. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if it's a defect. I also got a pair of headphones free (with, but not related to, the phone) and even those wouldn't pair with it. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong-I never had a problem with pairing anything with my last phone. Fortunately music sounds better on this one.
    Is anyone familiar with pairing devices to it?

    This phone does nothing but test my patience. Only 2 weeks old . Sometimes very slow. Usually when you need to do something that involves urgency it decides to lock up / lag and or open up stuff you didn't click on. Battery charge is extremely slow. For some reason Calling or receiving calls also seems to trigger a seizure and slows down the whole phone. Also has this thing where sometimes when I get calls or video calls and I try to pickup , it hangs up the call the first time instead of answering. Happens very often. But I think the TLC brand phone was the WORST cell phone ever.

    Another great review! I recently bought this phone (the basic 3GB, 32GB version) to acts as a spare. We both own S21's as our daily drivers, but when this arrived, I decided to set it up and use it for a week to test it out. And it is absolutely fine! Web surfing, TH-cam/Media usage, messenger apps etc, all ran perfectly on it. Google Discover runs good and it worked fine with my Galaxy Bud Pros (which amusingly cost more than this phone). The only bad point really is the camera which, while ok outdoors during the day, is fairly poor and slow in low light conditions. Battery life was fantastic too. And if Samsung really are going to give this 4 years of support (in whatever form that comes), then it's a total bargain.

Even if it doesn't, if it's getting security support for the full 4 years, it's still better than anyone else is offering at this end of the market.

    Unfortunately I've came to notice that the Samsung Galaxy A03s battery drains quite fast. ( keep in mind this video was made 2 years ago so things have changed. ) When buying the phone it NO longer comes with a charging box. You now have to get that separately due to companies not supplying them anymore. ( I was informed by a local wallmart employee ) It may be different for others though! Although The charging for me does take an awfully long amount of time- and I use my phone a LOT. 😕 Either way its a great starting choice for those who are looking for affordable phones

Called Samsung oh we don't put them in any more, my manual said #1 charge the phone. How in the hell can you charge the phone with out a charger just a cord. I had to go back to Wal Mart and buy a charger😡😡😡🤬

    How is it possible that I charge the mobile phone with 15w fast, I have the connector from the Samsung Galaxy a20e but my a03s Only loads with 5w? It's not the cable, as I was also able to fast charge my A20E with the cable.

    I wish Samsung has used a SD 662 or Mediatek G80/90. The 5-6 years old Helio P35 is Slow and makes the A03s feel like a 2019 phone rather than a 2021 phone

    EDIT: She accidentally dropped her phone so I ordered a screen protector to protect her fingers, except this reduced the sensitivity and there's no option to increase it in settings since it no longer gets updates. So I let her choose between the same model, an S8, S9 or S10. She chose the S10 and we were able to order a refurbished one in excellent state for cheap (under 300) on sale! It has arrived and it's looking amazing, now we're just waiting for the case and hopefully better screen protectors to arrive. I do wanna thank you all for the advice though!
    My mother has an S7 edge and although it still works snappy enough we're gonna have to get a new one at some point in time. So I've been considering 2 potential options; either the A12 or the A03s. The a A12 has 128GB for 199, however the A03s is a newer model with newer software, and is cheaper for 150 with 32GB here in my country. And I want to give her bits of a good upgrade, but I also am careful about money. So I'm kind of tied here.

    so 2 things i am having questions about. How do I get the tray out with that pin looking thing? plus how do I take a screen shot? I never figure it out with the A02 and now with the ao3?

    • @mattdavis9601
      @mattdavis9601 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      1) The tray has a little hole in the side. Inside the hole is a spring loaded latch. Stick the pin in and push until the tray pops out.
      2) If there's no onscreen button or touch gesture to do a screenshot (I just ordered my A03s and it hasn't arrived yet) try pushing Power and Volume Down simultaneously. That seems to be the stock Android shortcut for screenshots no matter the brand. I used to daily an old Samsung with the clicky home button in the bezel below the screen. I remember, but I don't know if I'm misremembering, that it was unique because you had to push Home + Vol Down instead of Power + Vol Down like everything else. That has nothing to do with the price of tea in China though...
