I don't think this is a music video about being a NEET. The lyrics involve a character trying to fit into the adult world (pay bills, find a job, etc) to survive on their own. If the person were a NEET, then all of those basic needs (money, food, etc) would be provided for by some kind of caretaker, but this song isn't the case. The lyrics clearly express the struggle to meet those needs, therefore the song altogether isn't about "being a NEET."

This is a deep song about self-imprisonment and feeling trapped without having the self-discipline or motivation to fix yourself.

本当に申し訳ないのですが、今までボカロに対して偏見をもっていて、あまり良い印象をもってなかったです。
でも、おすすめに出てきてなんとなく見たこの曲で今までの思いがガラッと変わりました。
人間が歌ってないからこそ出る、良い意味での無感情感や独特な世界観、空気感、、すごく素敵でした。
ただ単にこの曲が好きなだけかもしれませんが、【ボカロ】と一括りにして偏見をもち避けてきた自分が恥ずかしくて仕方ありません。

何度聴いても初めてこの曲を聴いた時の衝撃が忘れられない。
悩んでるのを思いっきり笑い飛ばしてくれるような感覚になったし妙に心地よくて耳によく馴染むこの曲。
何度聴いてもなんとも言い難い気持ちになるのがほんとに良い

You know what? Say what you want about the massive amount of nihilism present in this song. As stupid as that line can sound at first glance, I find it to be pretty inspiring considering even on supossedly the worst day of their life the singer still finds something enjoyable after all.
Even though life sucks, at the end of the day you're still alive and that means you can ways find something to enjoy and look foward too.

I noticed it, ever since "Silence of the lambs" and "Polygon Teacher" that you are very good having Miku as backing vocalists. In this one, not only Miku is the lead and the backing singers, you have also improved a lot at tuning Miku as backing vocalists. I'd very much like to see more works featuring this synergy. "Everything about animals" was very enjoyable too.
