That noise is from the EVAP system. I didn't notice it until I started parking in a garage.

Nice airplane sound. Yup that is a bad bearing. Get an automotive stethoscope to identify the culprit.

What a friggen nightmare even with a heavy duty removal tool. The back plate was horrible to remove. 2 hours later finally got one rear removed. I feel your pain.
