Yes do a behind the scenes please! I would love to know how you cared for all your camera gear, kept your lenses clean, etc. with all that dust and harsh elements. How to travel with gh5+nice lenses 101
Absolutely loved this...the storytelling and cinematography was great, Ryan! I want to go on an adventure like this now...except for the getting sick part aha!
omg seeing that there are tarantulas walking randomly there is TERRIFYING... I'm really impressed by your storytelling style! looking forward to watch more videos
Year after year at the beginning of spring, Chilean farmers take their animals to the mountains to take advantage of the new pastures, a tradition as old as mankind, but which are also the raises of our country.👍👏👏👏👏👏👏
This is incredible. A dream experience for me. I'd definitely love to see some behind the scenes of your filmmaking--I've been considering indulging in the GH5 for some time now, particularly as I plan on setting out on my own worldly travels. I'm amazed at the durability and range of this camera. Your work is some of the best stuff I've seen come out of it. Big admirer here, so cheers!
My friend: i would love to hear some chilean's Tonadas and Cuecas intead of "mexican corridos" . I'm sure you'd like it. Thank you/we call chilean cowboys: Huaso/ By the way: you're supposed to accompany the"Asado" with red wine 🍷not water! Also Remember, you are above sea level.(Arriba en la Cordillera sung by Patricio Manns)
Subscribed!! This is the kind of stuff I look for on TH-cam, indie filmmakers willing to do interesting things. I'm just curious, how gear did you have to bring along for this production?
4:46 bro that's a Mexican song hahaha speaking both English and Spanish can say that the music selection is kind of funky hahaha still love the short movie
Wow, what an adventure! This trip of yours deserves an extra video or a 'behind the scenes if you prefer, if only to know how did you manage to lug the gear on horseback and all the insides of the trip. Le echásteis cojones, no doubt about it; no Spanish and no horseback experience is something only your youth could pull it off, and then the sickness in the middle of nowhere... The only thing that is a little confusing is the end of the travel, did you split with Danilo the gaucho and the horse pack or what? Great video anyway. Congratulations!
Searched everywhere online and found a Polish cowboy that did this adventure. He gave us the details of the Gaucho and we used a translator to setup a time where we could come down and assist him in moving the herd
@@ryanjharris I was just about to ask the same question until I saw the answer. Haha incredible man.. There's a place Vinales Cuba where you can do something similar. We did a 5 hours tour on horses for $30 but the guy told me that he would be willing to do a full trip.
Do you want me to make a Behind the Scenes video on this? Let me know below
