Municipal Solid Waste sorting plant by Macpresse - Sochi, Russia

Macpresse municipal solid waste sorting plants are designed to recover paper, plastic, O.C.C., aluminium cans and other recyclable materials from MSW. In this video you can see Macpresse sorting plant in Sochi, Russia: 600 ton/shift of MSW. Waste is collected from the plant tipping floor, two inpint conveyors feed two trommels, then waste is carried to the sorting cabin.
MSW have an average of 30% organic fraction, the remaining dry waste it is sent into sorting cabin recovering: mix paper, O.C.C., mix plastic film, PET bottles, rigid plastic, H.D.P.E., aluminium cans, plastic film. Then O.C.C. is unloaded, plastic and film are baled and a reversible conveyor feeds alternatively one of the two balers of the sorting plant. Residual waste can be baled by both balers. MSW bales are ready for landifill. Our baling system reduces landfill volume, preventing bird nuisance, smell, leacheate. Finally landfill bales are sealed with water and cellulose.
Each Macpresse sorting system is custom-designed according to the customer’s specific requirements, quantity to be treated and materials to be sorted. Our systems can be supplied for manual or automatic selection, controlled by optical sorters and can be fitted with trommel or disk screens to sort waste paper.

Yes. They directly dump it or burn it without seeing whether it's useful or not
