  • The PAL Model RH 36 became a very common fighting knife of World War II, it was purchased in bulk by the War Department and the Navy Department for issue to soldiers, sailors and Marines. It was also available for purchase by service men in military exchanges as well as available commercially, where it was purchased and sent to US servicemen by their families. As we will see today, the knives were also produced in England.
