Heaven all these years- I can still feel the power of God when he quotes that verse about passing through the rivers- it gets me every single time!! I know he’s just waiting- I’ve got a feeling we’ll all soon be there!! Praise the Lord!! Taranda what a blessing you are!! Keep on keeping on for Jesus!! He will always be your help and your guide!! The testimony of her singing that her faith is still the same after the loss of her husband is INCREDIBLE and AWESOME. It makes me want to cry as I remember the loved ones I have lost.
Tony gave such strong testimony about song,, lord I can't do a thing without you holding my hand....I got so much encouragement for hard times,,esp my adult sons death...and hearing his so precious widow give praise now in this song....I want to follow her in giving thanks,,in the really hard times...as my adult don who died from illegal fentynal....this lady was such a loving wife,,,she gave tony a kidney..

Brother Hadden, she did a wonderful job indeed, she sang her heart out, and i know from experience that it isn't easy to sing through tears. I too am confident that God will hold her and the girls close, but something you said that I dont get. about "Tony smiling down on her". I beg to differ dear brother and I mean this lovingly.. I cant see how my Jesus, so gentle , Meek, and mild WOULD RIP OUR LOVED ONES FROM US AND HAVE THEM SMILE DOWN ON US WHEN WE ARE HURTING AND WILL HURT FOR YEARS TO COME? THink about I. WHY DO PEOPLE SAY THIS? I hear it all the time. Where did we get this idea please Who said that? I know Jesus did not. I have to say that It is enough for me to take comfort in the word of God 1Thess 4:13-18, 1Cor15:50-58, Job 7:9,10, Job 14:10,12,14. Ecc9:5,6,9,10. Ps 146:4, Ps 104:29, John 11:11-14 Acts 2:29
+Valerie Anderson We are all going to die, believers and nonbelievers. Our loved one's are smiling down on us because they have experienced the love we had for them, the are experiencing the love Jesus has for them, and finally they believe we will one day be with them in heaven.
+joella64 bible says truth. Ecc 9: 5 - 7 the living know that they shall die but the dead knows nothing. nothing. how cruel to believe God would hv loved ones look down n smile as we suffer. its true that the dead cant see and cant smile on any one. I cant believe this lie for God word is truth.

@@diannamashburn338 that response I fully accept. Our loved ones are not in heaven as yet it. And the faithful who have died will resurrect at the 2nd coming. I believe God's word in the Bible is true. God's plan is acceptable to me. I hv nonill will with the ones who have state this belief. It's just not according to scripture handed down to us. Love peace and blessing to all.

I watched this and cried like a baby. I feel so sad for TaRanda even though she knows where Tony is - it's just sad that she is such a young widow. Her commitment to God is a blessing and she will be reunited with him one day soon. Thanks for posting. Rest in peace, Tony.
Worship and praise in the midst of grief...BEAUTIFUL! I am in tears. God bless this lovely woman for singing at her husband's funeral!!!
I was there. It brings back so many memories- the messages by Jim Cymbala and Pastor Mike Whitson, the laughs, TaRanda's wonderful song of praise. Gerald Wolfe's stories, the singing, wow. It also reminds me of the time I have spent with the family over the years. Thanks for posting and letting me relive it.

TaRanda, Your courage to sing at your love's homegoing is so honoring to the love you both shared, and the faith and hope you have in Jesus. I respect you. I pray for you often....and your beautiful children. Keep singing....I always loved how you and Tony held hands when you sang. You'll sing again with him.

l was shocked when watching Dr David Jeremiah on Christmas eve 2015 and the singer introduced Taranda Green and he said she was getting married in March 2016 so l got on GOOGLE and found out that Tony had passed and l wanted to share the news with my wife Pat but was unable to cause she passed away Dec 22 2014 . l had seen the Greens perform many times from wintering in Florida. l even spoke to Tony and Taranda in Okeechobee Florida at Oakview Southern Baptist Church while waiting for the concert to start. He was a great guy. l have some of their CD's and l haveone where Tony talks about all the different signs in front of churches and how funny the message turns out to be. Pat probably met him already and could not let me know
I think it would be a true blessing if you would take the time to load this whole video for others to watch and be blessed in Jesus name. It is now Dec 20th and I just found that Tony has passed and I have always loved to hear The Greenes rest in the arms of the Lord Dear Brother
Thanks for posting this. Despite downloading the new version of Quicktime, I have not been able to get the video to play at the church site. It must be down for some reason. From what I've seen here, it was quite a service. Tony was a wonderful person, and will certainly be missed. What faith and courage Taranda has. May God bless her and their children, family, and friends.
