I just love love seeing all the canning and preserving. I think it’s so much fun too! I would love to see how your store & organize your canning pantry!
Adaline, you encourage me so much. You are a lady on a mission. You are one in a million. The peppers looked so pretty. I loved the cosco haul. Be blessed.
I would love a video on how to dehydrate different foods! Its something that has interested me and then when you said you do dehydrate foods, it perked my attention. What kind of dehydrator do you have and do you love it? -Ann
True lemon is fantastic! Walmart carries it in store and a huge selection online! It's crystallized lemon juice. They also have line, orange, grapefruit, and lemonade selection with fruit flavors sweetened with stevia! I love it it's such a space saver! I think you will love it!
Adaline, I am thoroughly enjoying the turn that your channel has taken. It reminds me of the way I grew up but took for granted. I really hope you bring us along when you make your kumbucha.
I absolutely love these new DITL vlogs!!! Been here since the beginning! But would you be able to make a video all about canning from start to finish qith tips and tricks? That would be so helpful! Love you and your family so much! ❤️
You are truly amazing girl. I love your Channel so much. I always learn something from them. Thank you for all your hard work in making these to share with us.
Haha, always finding stickers on my clothes. Somehow they tend to pop up when I'm making videos too. It's great you have such a family support system. How fun!
You are such a proverbs 31 woman!! Sometime you need to try the cold pressed grape juice!! It’s amazing and so easy to do!! We have a local Amish man that we buy it from every fall, you can buy however many gallons you want from him , all you have to do is pour into quart jars and hot water bath it!!! You can either drink it straight from the jar or dilute it if you want, the sugar bricks in the grapes has been higher this fall and it is extremely good!!!! I wouldn’t go back to juicing again,This is so much easier and so much quicker and so delicious!!!😊
Girl you need to get a juicer! All you do is stick the grapes in and the device does the work for you. Very minimal work. You get just the juice for jarring, then you can use the left over grapes for jam/jelly. Two for one!
Love that pickled peppers and onions, will try that. My daughter makes her own kombucha, it's great for digestion and other health benefits as you know.
I was thinking of making extracts too. I already make vanilla, so lemon, orange, etc ...would be nice for future baking. My son used to like peppermint hot cocoa...would love to figure out a way to replicate "the box" flavored cocoas.
Can you water bath the canning of the peppers and onion mix? And if you can what is the process ? I dont have a pressure cooker but would like to try and do a bath canning for the first time ever❤
Such a good video! It definitely changed my perspective on canning being a “country” thing or something my grandmother did 😊. This video makes me want to give it a try! As well as trying kombucha! The girls are getting big! Be blessed! ❤️
I have never seen bell pepper can before. How would you use them in a recipe? Would you used them the same way as fresh pepper? I would to see how you use it.
Do you know how to can what the Amish call chow chow? I recently visited PA and had a chunky misture of peppers, onion, carrots, and cauliflower. I bought the recipe book, but it doesn't really tell how to make it.
I am new to saving meals and preserving. Was it a farming co-op that you got your grapes? Interested in ways to source fresh fruits and vegetables besides Azure and supermarket. We have had a small garden for years and looking into container gardening to make use of our limited space. Thank you for the tips on making grape juice. That definitely sounds like something I can get done. Where did you find your recipe?
Im so bummed that I have ZERO discount food stores within a 100+mile radius of my TX panhandle town ...cue self pity! Ive really gotta bust out my pressure canner though, Ive been waterbathing all season so far and still a bit intimidated by never using it before. I had no idea grapejuice was so easy, albeit time consuming!
If you've been watching for a while you know I'm a bit of a rebel canner ;) I have water bath canned everything under the sun according to the Mennonite & Amish way of my grandmothers before me! So I'm always glad to share my thoughts on water bath canning! I picked up pressure canning simply because its faster and it doesn't make my kitchen as hot due to the steam being trapped inside the canner. Now, according to Esther H. Shank's mennonite cookbook, you would want to water bath the peppers & onions 3 hours. Let me know if you try it! (Disclaimer: This of course is no FDA approved)
I guess it depends on how you like the juice to taste. I’ve done it this way too and My family prefers a stronger tasting grape juice so I prefer the steamer as well and then I only add in 2 cups water per quart and a squirt of stevia to sweeten.
I got quite confused about the grape juice part, I think I benefit from visuals more than just talking…. So you water bath canned, then took the lids off and then squashed them. Then did you can them again or just keep the juice fresh in the fridge? Also doesn’t it feel like a waste of those lids? 🙈 x
What company was it that you ordered the grapes through? You never give out the names haha. When you did your bulk shopping bideo you didnt give store names and with this you didnt give any information for us locals who also might want to order stuff like this aswell!!
Worcestershire- skip pronouncing the first “r” altogether, and the “ce” while you're at it, and barely say the second “r.” Start the word off by saying “Wooster” and then finish off with the British “shire.”
Right I Started watching her vlogs when she lived in the camper with her 3 girls alone and now all of a sudden she's talking about a husband and everything I searched to see where I missed an update but I found nothing very confused by these videos lol

Becky at Acre Homestead makes really nice vanilla extract for gifting and makes her own as well. Look up her instructions. They are so easy!!
I make my own. 6 vanilla beans to 8 oz vodka.
Yes I love Becky everything is homemade to
Becky is my favorite!!

Love the ideas if canning peppers and onions. So convenient!
Love when you include canning in your videos! The canned peppers and onions are so pretty.

Home canned mushrooms are BOMB! I always have a ton on my shelf!
Hi Adaline , I was a subscriber on your home channel so thought I would subscribe to this one ,hugs Katie from (Scotland) 😉👍😊
Wow, you are so good about making so many homemade items, so ambitious!
I love hearing the things you want to try to make, it definitely gives be ideas to try!
Love everything about this video. Keep up the GREAT work. Thanks for sharing
Becky's Ranch dressing powder is delicious. I use a powdered coconut coffee creamer instead of the dairy powder she uses.
I love that you call your SIL your sister! I have plenty of sisters that are not actual sisters by blood but who I'm just as close with!
Amen to that!

I love your vlog! It is informative an fun!
Those mandolins are so nice for slicing but be careful, they are SO SHARP and easy to cut yourself on.
Can you water bath the canning of the peppers and onion mix? And if you can what is the process ? I dont have a pressure cooker but would like to try and do a bath canning for the first time ever❤
Could you make the grape juice from seedless store grapes or only the Concord grapes
Absolutely love your videos! I cook and home make with you!
Your such a great mom! Love your channel
There you are🤗
Ever done the peppers in a water bath canner? I don’t have a pressure canner :/
Such a good video! It definitely changed my perspective on canning being a “country” thing or something my grandmother did 😊. This video makes me want to give it a try! As well as trying kombucha! The girls are getting big! Be blessed! ❤️
I am really enjoying these types of videos. :)
I’ve been looking for vanilla beans to make my own extract! What type of grapes did you use for your grape juice?
Do you put boiling water or just regular temp water to cover your grapes?
Great video! Definitely inspiring me to learn to can my own food. Thank you. 😊
I have never seen bell pepper can before. How would you use them in a recipe? Would you used them the same way as fresh pepper? I would to see how you use it.
Thank you for watching! You Would use them like a sauté pepper & onion mixture, so anywhere you would use that!

I found my recipe in a Mennonite cookbook and I got the grapes through a local group of Mennonites that order it all together.
Im so bummed that I have ZERO discount food stores within a 100+mile radius of my TX panhandle town ...cue self pity! Ive really gotta bust out my pressure canner though, Ive been waterbathing all season so far and still a bit intimidated by never using it before.

Grape juice isn’t too bad, and it’s so rewarding! 😉
Great ideas
What kind of dehydrator do u use Adaline?
Where do you store all these home canned items ?
I'll share soon!
Adaline i don’t have a pressure canner🥺 could i do the bell pepper/onion jars water bath method? If so how long should i let them boil?

@@AdalineZook so helpful thank you🥹 definitely trying & tagging you🤎🤎
How does kombucha taste?! I know it's really good for you but I'm scared😅
Meal prep should always include wine prep for the week🙌🍷
Next year try to make your grape juice by using a steam canner. No sugar needed and a lot less work. Love all your ideas and meals.
I prefer doing it this way because you get more juice then with a steamer, and steamers are very over priced in my opinion.
I guess it depends on how you like the juice to taste. I’ve done it this way too and My family prefers a stronger tasting grape juice so I prefer the steamer as well and then I only add in 2 cups water per quart and a squirt of stevia to sweeten.

She water bath canned, then she will do the other steps when they're ready to drink it. So they stay canned with whole grapes until ready to use..
Hii adaline luv u 💝
The suspense is killing me.. 🥺💙💗

Are you and your husband back together?
Right I Started watching her vlogs when she lived in the camper with her 3 girls alone and now all of a sudden she's talking about a husband and everything I searched to see where I missed an update but I found nothing very confused by these videos lol
Yes they are. She had an update somewhere a while back.
