I had seen Brad a couple years before, but with the contest I mainly entered because Terry was going to open for him and I always wanted to see her live. Anyway, part of the prize package was their CD library up to that point and to get a meet and greet with each...with Terry it was before she performed...and for Brad it was after. What a thrill it was to meet them both and they were so nice to my friend and I...they signed everything, even my white cowboy hat. Both gave GREAT and fun concerts and just blew the roof of the venue! I'll never forget it! 🥰

I grew up loathing country. I had certain family members when they would drive that's all they would play. So, while didn't care for it, I heard it all the time, and learned the lyrics to so many songs. When I finally became an age to listen to what I want, it was rock, metal, and essentially nothing but. But today I had this song in my head while dealing with particular people in my life and had the urge to hear it from start to finish. Not sure what that's saying about me, really.

thanks--for me it was Neil Young who got me out of any real pigeon holes. if we listen to a group like The Band, which was one of Neil's mentors, you can hear all the roots from the south that eventually became rock n roll, and that was blues, country, jazz, Cajon and certain others. im Psychodonny87 by the way.

I miss the real thing, the CM from my early adult years . Cruising around in my husband’s truck while were dating, after dark , just listening to to CM . Those were the best days , and we had so much fun just listening to music and talking.
