john, i've noticed a few videos you've gotten flat tires. we ride throughout detroit over here and in our backpacks we always keep a battery pack and a tire inflator incase we run over something or have pressure loss from beads coming unsealed from tires froom jumps. its saved me a few times in the east side and brightmoor parts of detroit. i understand the climate there is definetly warmed so you'd have to find a battery pack that doesnt explode if it sits inside your pack on those 100 degree days, but its seriously something to consider. these neighborhoods you roll through are no joke, and we as viewers want you to be as safe and prepared as possible. love from detroit brother! keep riding!
From my understanding as a long time LB area resident, the Eastside was coined because it was east of the LA river, this was before the burbs in East LB (by the 605/San Gabriel river) were developed around the WW2 era.
Great Videos.. U are very well spoken but still know the streets .I too grew up this way Mine being in Pico Rivera as a 6'3" White man..But my grand parents lived on 92nd st.We watchedbthe 10 Harbor fwy being built there 5 houses from my familys house as a kid .An same there .U respect what up in the hood an don't cast any bad thoughts on what u see.Streets are The Streets. Its Real life..Keep up the good videos
Thanks for the video tours. I lived across slauson in south la then I moved to paramount in my twenties. I can’t afford the gas money to go cruising so this is cool to watch.
I love your videos John it makes me want a surron so bad im 59 yrs old i think it would bring my youth back lol......😂😂.....Stay Up, Hard, and Free brother......🔥🔥❤️💯
I used to watch this guy like 6 years ago heavy, back when chomo22 was big on bmx still. Glad you doin ur thang man! Them e bikes are cool man but I like the sound of gas motors lol
In nineteen eighty five as an 18-year-old kid, I used to chase parts for my dad's dredging company. We Lived 9 hours North around the Sacramento area, And we Went down for a job and worked in Newport Beach. I Would drive up to Long Beach to get parts. I remember cherry street the most, It was crazy down there, I did 3 hit and runs in 1 week In my dad's company pick up, ha ha. I kept saying to myself, I wonder if You were going to mention cherry street, and sure enough you didn't fail me. Thanks for the run down memory lane!!!
At 36.43 you rode in the alley right behind my pad. I'm the only white boy on my street...that park is like 6 years old but since COVID became a tweaker encampment. Nice little bike path though 😊
That skate park ride looked like fun! Wish i lived in a areas like this, some city/urban life. I live in small city in CO, kinda rural and spread out. Gotta stick with 2 wheeled petrol machine
Always dope being from Long Beach to see Long Beach on TH-cam. I’m from the west side. Santa Fe and willow! But live in San Diego now! This video was dope man. Always happy to see my city! Graduated from poly in 06! Love that you cruised back in the hood bro!
You should consider producing a series of videos highlighting the vibrant communities of Long Beach, Carson, Cerritos, West Los Angeles, Culver City, Torrance, South Bay, Hawthorne, Inglewood, and Gardena.
great video of LB. what are the chances you're into riding PCH? show us some beauty in an ugly world. Venice Beach would be cool as well. Ride down to DDE's new HQ, which coincidently is Hoonigans old building
where you hopped onto at 1:52 were those considered front of a house? I was born in la county, lived in redondo beach utnil I was 6 years old (34 now) and if that is actually the front of a house that has a alleyway right outside of it, that's interesting..
Hey John love your videos, I want to get a Surron but I think I’m to heavy. I know the website says 225 max weight, would you think being 250 would mess the bike up going over curbs?
Last chance to enter to win my Surron Ultra Bee here: hixfam.com/
Did you mean to spell riding in La? Cause you put LB 😂💯
Long Beach LBC
I love ur videos I've been watching for years thank u for ur hard work be safe
@@timjohnson0912 Ohhhhh, my mistake, that's what I get for being from Canada 😅🤣🤣
Haha you said what I always wonder is what the hell do people think when you ride by talking to your self 😂

love from detroit brother! keep riding!
All the kids playing video games and streaming no more playing outside. Not like the old days
That’s why the kids can’t deal with anything, I would be outside on a day like this.
Ikr. Kids nowadays don't know what it's like to go to your buddies house knocking on the door askin if so and so "can come out and play?" -Saaad sad
Yeah, it's not these kids fault though had we had cell phones and social media like them, sadly that coulda been us
Enjoyed the Long Beach tour, would love to see a part 2. Keep up the great work!
Thank you!!! @elye.7861 ❤️

Dam the OG apartment days lol
dog comes running up to gate to say hi🥺
john: yeah he’s ready for war 😂
Dude when I was a kid, after school I would ride my bike until I had to go home
Am I the only one imagining gta streets?🤣
Every thumbnail John is lost now...

Thanks for the video tours. I lived across slauson in south la then I moved to paramount in my twenties. I can’t afford the gas money to go cruising so this is cool to watch.
Sounds like the perfect time to invest in an e-bike. Summer is just around the corner and cruising weather is just about here.
@@CantStopLBC450lolz, I’m 50 years old G. I have a lime scooter I bought a few years ago, but… I’m Pretty active you never know😆😆😆
Hell yeah bro right next to my area that skatepark
That German Shepard was like "Ya sure about that?!" lol
Pretty cool to see the surroundings of the old hoonigan building. A company/yt channel called DDE (daily driven exotic) is in it now
I love your videos John it makes me want a surron so bad im 59 yrs old i think it would bring my youth back lol......😂😂.....Stay Up, Hard, and Free brother......🔥🔥❤️💯
This was better then the south central videos always love to see you explore new stuff!
I used to watch this guy like 6 years ago heavy, back when chomo22 was big on bmx still. Glad you doin ur thang man! Them e bikes are cool man but I like the sound of gas motors lol
No no Mr. Hicks. You need to come back for the beach run you can't leave that out.

Homie looking big 💪🏼 love the content bro always look forward to your uploads
I love it... Some of the definitely looks pretty sketchy. And dangerous.. But it's a lot of fun going on tour with you
At 36.43 you rode in the alley right behind my pad. I'm the only white boy on my street...that park is like 6 years old but since COVID became a tweaker encampment. Nice little bike path though 😊

it looks nice with the sun probably the cleanest video without litter on streets or homeless .
For the wind noise I've seen/heard people sticking some soft foam over the mic areas and they said that helps. Maybe worth a try?
You should consider producing a series of videos highlighting the vibrant communities of Long Beach, Carson, Cerritos, West Los Angeles, Culver City, Torrance, South Bay, Hawthorne, Inglewood, and Gardena.
Never heard of Cerritos being called vibrant. It's a boring suburb with a mall and a bunch of car dealerships.
great video of LB. what are the chances you're into riding PCH? show us some beauty in an ugly world. Venice Beach would be cool as well.
Ride down to DDE's new HQ, which coincidently is Hoonigans old building
I was just in Long Beach staying on the queen Mary and I was really hoping to see you!!!
Love the casual Snoop drops
Talk about pushing the limits!😂
Amazing ride, John! You got my vote for Long Beach ride #2!
Hello from London, Uk 🇬🇧
I’m pleasantly surprised how clean it is
can’t think of a thumbnail? “you must be lost” for every video it is
damn makes me sad to see the old hoonigan building man, loved watching the dily transmission vids back in my hs days
Manz riding like he's in GTA!!
Next time can you go to 23rd amd maleno ...that's where i was raised
These videos are so addictive
Talk about riding in crazy ass situations 😂
I got a Dolby Atmos system in my house with a 12 inch sub. The wind from your videos doesn’t affect my base almost at all. I love your videos though.
Hell yeah, Long Beach!!! The best city to ride around on a electric Moto.
So much drama in the LBC.....It's kinda hard being John Hicks BMX!!!!
keep up the good work and be safe out there..
Ahhh u got the box jump for sure ...half the people here have no idea haven't seen your edits
We need to get a string of videos of you driving through GTA locations. Let people see the similarities to the game vs real life.
Didn't realize John was so jacked
Can you enter from New Zealand Hicks?
Definitely nicer than south central 🙂
Gonna be a good video
Man i like to have that bike John Hicks
Shit is crazyyyy
This one gone be a banger
would love to see a Venice Beach ride
LA seems to be ALLEY CENTRAL so cool disappear in them back alleys real easy, some people think they own them though...
you should do north side longbeach next
Hey man will you ever explore Valencia or burbank?
where you hopped onto at 1:52 were those considered front of a house? I was born in la county, lived in redondo beach utnil I was 6 years old (34 now) and if that is actually the front of a house that has a alleyway right outside of it, that's interesting..
Good stuff my prince
well dame good vid
As a Brit, all these areas/streets look the same to me.
Love the Videos Bro!
surprised you didn't stop at west coast customs while on Anaheim. hit the dirt roads in the back
that's a route for part 2 for sure!
What's the weight limit on that bike?
we need a beach ride video
@JohnHicksFilms, Make a video going down Pasadena street.
King taco is the best
Is flat out or slime good to use on these bikes?
Daily driven exotics has the hoonigan building now
And less alleys
Very cool videos My friend
Go to Hollywood were rich peoples live
every time you say anaheim I have to realize you mean the street, not the city where I grew up...
LONG BEACHHHHHHHHH YESIRRRRRRRR🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
now come to huntington beach
where can i buy one
Give the bike to me 😂
Now😡
Hella swole 💪
Hey John love your videos, I want to get a Surron but I think I’m to heavy. I know the website says 225 max weight, would you think being 250 would mess the bike up going over curbs?
You should be ok but i'd get an ultra bee or talaria sting R
And @JohnHicksFilm is giving away one of those UltraBees soo might be a good time to spend a few bucks and win yourself that Surron!
When you went through the alley between 17th and 15th Street
Long Beach Signal Hill
~ MisTeR Hicks ~ GoT tHe TriCkS ~
Make a video in Valencia.
Bro long beach beautiful .
You riding your bike through compton gang zones is no big deal. You're about 6'2, 220 lbs, and jacked. No one is messing with you...
i think you traveled more then 30 miles, probably more like 50-60
I don't know why, you don't put your smartphone on your handlebars with google maps open, so you know where you're going.
Go to Whittier !!
You rode past my house
elon must make space batteries
There needs to be time stamps for the thumbnails ...
iT's MiStEr HiCkS 👆🏻
Go to the jungles
