Noctua: When using top-flow coolers in a tower-style case, we strongly recommend installing the cooler with the heatpipes in horizontal position or with the bends of the heatpipes pointing downwards. Please avoid installing the cooler with the bends pointing upwards, as this may result in reduced cooling performance. In desktop cases, the cooler can be used in any orientation. faqs.noctua.at/support/solutions/articles/101000352747-in-which-orientation-should-top-flow-coolers-nh-c-series-nh-l12-nh-l12s-be-installed- It also depends on the housing you want to use
First off really cool Second thanks for the link however I think the orientation you have it in is the one Noctua recommends against: "|" is the i/o panel and the tips of the letters and number represent the tips of the heat pipes. | 3 is okay | E is okay | w is okay | m is not okay
I need help with z690-i some people said I can install d15 if I removed top m.2 heatsink any suggestions for air coolers or AIO? considering I have 13600kf

@@RhinoTec Yes yes, dear sir, but are you saying that you have a case that flips motherboard upside down? Even without reading, just by comparing image with red cross (which means "wrong") at provided link and this moment 5:09 - it's obviously wrong position (again, unless you have upside-down case). Or am I wrong?
@@axel-11 Hi, on Ghost S1 Case is the MB upside down, please look this Video on 1 : 17 th-cam.com/video/XQCDcvSdPUs/w-d-xo.html Our VRM Heatsink is Special for Ghost S1 users how want mount Noctua NH-L12 Air-Cooler Also "upside down" Motherboard: Fractal Terra, Formd T1, IQUNIX ZX-1 or Phanteks Shift XT But you are right on other ITX Cases is the MB with Standard Orientation. @@RhinoTec May I ask you, do you think, if you had to install another cooler - DeepCool AN600 - on the same motherboard, would you still need to replace the VRM heatsink?
Works fine with ghost L12S. Keep up the good work.
Would you be able to just cut the original one shorter?
just ordered, but does it come with thermal pads?
yes
why you cant turn the heatsinks to the side where the nvme stand?

Is it impossible to fit the NH-L12S with the fan underneath? Or do you have any mods that would allow such a mount?
1. no is not possible. 2. no i am sorry.
hi do you know if this also work with CPU cooler Alpenföhn Black Ridge?
thank you in case of any help
