Is it just me or was this the best Prince of Persia game ever? Every time Dahaka chase began my heart would start beating harder. Surprisingly critics were harsh on this game.

LOL i had no idea Dahaka was speaking backwards. That is so cool! I played this game like 13 years ago and never noticed he talks backwards. Makes it more interesting every time you rewind time you can hear what he says

kaileena is actually super easy.. you just have to do the jump-hit combo over and over

That light sword has 2.5 times the damage of the water sword but takes your life away too so I use hockey stick which is close to damage and has no disadvantages.
Or the Bear which heals you per hit, make the battle much much easier imo

Getting the Water Sword triggers this boss battle and allows the true ending to be attained. Said ending also foreshadows the events of Two Thrones.

i started replaying the trilogy recently. when i got to the dahaka fight (in hard mode) died more than ten dam times and then decided to just call the game finished and started the third one. the game has aged excellently and it's probably the best one of the trilogy.

oh god the nostalgia. I have no Idea how my 15 year old self did this boss fight. For real. I'm sitting here with a bunch of friends after like 12 hours to get here on hard mode. (I remembered all the secret life upgrades and a humungous ammount of artwork chests from my countless hours with this game) So getting here was the simple part but what the actual fuck?!? How did i do it?!
+tharrock337 So this is how i did it. Get insanely lucky with sandspawns. Hah took me only 3 hours and half my sanity but 21 year old me is just as good at this game as 15 year old me was.

Yeah. And you have to quit to the main menu in order to get it back. Meaning you have to watch the cutscene again of Dahaka coming out.

The empress looked to the east and went inside the ship where the Prince contemplated about the outcome. He turned to look at her. Roughly, he threw her back against a post, ran his hand across her cheek. Kaileena offered no resistance. Beyond the placid waters, the sight of the city was on fire. Anguished cries filled the air, violence and terror stalked the area. Sounds of battle were unmistakable. Fires of destruction swept the city.
He moved to embrace her.
The invader clashed with a defender and ultimately stabbed him. A metal object jingled on the ground. A golden crown lay at the centre of the ground. A heavy boot trod down. A sinister cowled figure snatched up the crown.
"All that is yours is rightfully mine," a voice hissed as the cloak fell away.
Kaileena holds the Prince from behind. The being continued in triumph. "And mine it will be!"
The Prince is haunted by vision of a terrible future where his beloved is now held captive. The voice of the Old Man reminded.
"Your journey will not end well. You cannot change your fate. No man can."
I used the "ravages of time" twice and when dahaka is hanging I used " eye of the storm " twice ...and it was pure luck ...😂 ...it's hard to kill dahaka when he jumps off...he's gained health agian ... 😬😐....DAMN
You have to slow down the time and attack him non-stop. If you do so, you will kill Dahaka in less than a minute.

I didn't got all health upgrades but I've completed almost half of game with his original health It was way too hard not to take any damage

Green Arrow yes ...I used to do the same...it is a LOT easy this way...the rage technique used here seems to be pretty effective but actually it is the simple one that can help get DAHAKA...
Guys, I have a problem with the game. I played with XP a few years ago, and it was ok, but now i have windows 7 and im running the POP as windows xp service pack 3 and it's still ok, game's running like before, but i can't attack ! I was trying to change the mouse key to other key but it didn't work ;/. I can use the second weapon on E. Help me !! :(
+fatal1337 I suppose the obvious would be to check the controls under options-> controls. The game does have rebindable keys so try to find out weather or not it is actually bound to your mouse. If that does not work i recon you found yourself the hidden very hard mode... Dahaka fight is still winnable, angry redmode attacks can be done with either left mouse or e.
This game lmao so much memories i literally simple pass class VI because of this...this final fight took me two weeks

It's so easy to defeat the dahaka, people just do it the wrong way.

@@mertsaygn2685 You keep attacking him with the eye of the storm and when he falls I recommend having a lot of sand use the eye of the storm again and keep hitting him with the light sword, even on hard this tactic works

In my warrior within instead of fight with dahaka my foght was with kaileena there was no dahaka and then after killing kaileena dahaka comes and kills kaileena and takes my sand amulet and then dahaka dies on his own
There's not a different version of the game, there are two endings, the good and true ending can be obtained collecting all life upgrades and getting the water sword to fight Dahaka and kill him

No its actually Kaileena, shes ultra hard boss and deals lot more damage
Because you didnt get all life upgrades and if you would get them,you would get the water sword to kill Dahaka too.So,you havent thoose things,you killed kaileena.

Try killing the dahaka with Linkin Park playing on the background. It helps.
There is an easy trick to beat the Dahaka. Get Next to hum and roll to the left or right after every hit. No damage.

It works in normal mode, but in hard mode Dahaka always faces you and keeps doing melee which can't be dodged by rolling, but only backhandspring.
@@dissid1484 In Hard mode you have to do It twice. It stills works. After the first time you just have to keep up with him until you approach him and do it again.

you lucky cause you had to push him twice. I had to push him thrice because the when he is pushed the second time he gets off from there within seconds. I didn't even have the time to hit him. But after you kill him on hard. You will easily beat him on easy. Within seconds and you will be done with it
