I WANT more fan service in my video games 🎮 I don't want anyone to implement restrictions and regulations with the intention to put a CHOKEHOLD on adult media, or TAKE the option to make and enjoy NSFW material AWAY from us! I love waifus, and I love fan service! More than that, I love 18+ content, and I would want more 18+ games to be made! I want MORE lewdness in my video games 🎮
And i want more actual good and fun , inteligent made games that can actually be memorable for being video games , not only for the pretty waifu fap material . That is were the problems could be , is fine to have that , hey i like anime with pretty and cute girls in it but that shouldn't take away the actual art .
1. I think video games (especially AAA) are a lagging / downstream indicator of general culture. Is gaming really the front line of the "Gooner Wars", in a world with OnlyFans, internet pr*n and "Hawk Tuah”? 2. I think this argument vastly overestimates the appeal of "Gooner" games. Japan has a long history of making eroge - with explicit sex scenes. Japan also makes Astro Boy. 3. I feel like Asia doesn't get enough credit for their advancements in "Husbando" technology such as "Love and Deepspace". It's not just guys that like unrealistically attractive people in their games.
No, I completely agree with you, I think this is definitely a reflection of our overall culture, but my main point is that we should not allow this to take over the art form in a way to starts appealing to our sexuality instead of trying to tell stories or create interesting characters. Gamers are a very antisocial bunch, they are an easy target for over sexualization.
I think we should allow for anyone to create anything and allow the audience to dictate what works and what doesn't. Gooner art and ugly western art is all art at the end of the day. Let the market decide
The only reason the same people that advocate OF also hate sexy game characters is because they hate it when something else takes men's attention away from them.
@@GhostWulf70792 Exactly. If smart people ran the studios, they would figure out what works for the audience, instead of trying to change the audience with their petty tactics.
It doesn’t bother me, I just would like there to be balance, I don’t think extremism is trivial, it’s bad in either direction. The left is the worst, but I don’t want to see the other side become the left in their own right
@@PaulseTV If you want balance all you have to do is advocate for creative freedom, then people will make what they wanna make and fund what they wanna fund. It's not extremism in design that is bad, what's bad is trying to control people's creativeness and right to expression. Let them create extreme things if there's an audience to enjoy it, you don't have to partake in it. And instead you can partake in someone else's creation that fits your preferences.
why are you generalizing all women??? if you want to hold such high standards go ahead just don't get surprised if you can't find anyone in the long run bro.
@@burgercats He probably didn't feel like including the 0.1% anomalies that don't have high standards because it wouldn't change the point at all. Also the point is that people cry about attractive female character models because "it sets impossible standards that real women can't compete with" when really nobody asked them to compete with game characters.
@@burgercats If you have a problem with generalization of an entire group of people just because of their immutable characteristics, if it bothers you so much, why don't you go lecture fem**ists? they built their entire religion around generalizations, stereotypes and preconceptions of entire populations of people, and successfully manipulated everyone to think they were "noble" somehow. You can be very instrumental in helping deconstruct this religion, thereby bringing down the generalization you claim to be against.

Yea but it is still much more waifus , left and right .
