Headline: Sina High-Fives Beantown, 4000 Progressive Pixels Celebrate! THE SONG - "Foreplay/Long Time" was written by Tom Scholz, the main songwriter and multi-instrumentalist of the rock band Boston. It was recorded in 1975-76 in Scholz's basement home studio named 'Foxglove' with the exception of Brad Delp's vocals which were recorded at Capitol Studios Studio C. The main song is "Long Time" which was released as a single on Jan 7, 1977. The progressive rock instrumental intro "Foreplay" was actually written by Scholz in 1972 and was released as a single in April 1977 as the B-side of "More Than A Feeling". On their self-named album 'Boston', the two songs are played together and form the third track of side one of the LP. 'Boston' was released on Aug 25, 1976. As a single, "Long Time" entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart at #62 on Jan 29, 1977 and peaked at #22 after six weeks on Mar 5, 1977. It was last seen at #82 on Apr 2, 1977 after 10 weeks on the chart. The album 'Boston" spent 137 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart. It entered at #124 on Sep 25, 1976 and peaked at #3 on Dec 4, 1976. It's often said that the first album 'Boston' was essentially Tom Scholz playing all or most of the instruments and recording alone in his basement studio. Brad Delp would come in to do the lead and harmony vocal parts. According to the album liner notes, band member Barry Goudreau played rhythm guitar on "Foreplay" and "Long Time" and all three guitar solos on "Long Time". Fran Sheehan is credited with bass on "Foreplay". Sib Hashian is the credited drummer. In order to have a performing band for concerts, Scholz had to recruit additional members. Barry Goudreau was brought in to play second guitar parts and Fran Sheehan was recruited for bass. Scholz's first choice for a drummer was Jim Masdea but the band's managers and record label insisted on a change so Sib Hashian got the call. There isn't much info available for him. In Sina's previous Boston cover "Don't Look Back" Rosanna and Sina had a brief discussion and agreed that Hashian was a straight-ahead rock drummer who suited the band perfectly. Sina said she was a fan of Boston - "It's not really a 'drummers'-band', but the whole package is just perfect!! This cover performance may change some minds! Here Sina plays in a powerful manner reminiscent of the best of Sib Hashian's live performances. Sina's work with The Gäs has definitely given her a feel for live drumming. Perhaps Mike will have to hand out complimentary earplugs for their neighbors. There is a real live drummer in that basement now and we love it. This is Sina's fifth Boston cover. thanks for the info. Sina is a great drummer, and has many great musical talents and Sina is such a sweet and dear lady, who is always doing for others, always very loving, always very kind and caring and always very polite.
Hi Juliet P... i don't know where you get the time and the resources from to do your extensive research every week but man i enjoy it. You obviously love Sina and her work as much as we all do. Please don't stop doing what you do. A big hello to Roz to. BTW, I'm interested to know if you are immersed in anyone else's work and if so, who is it ??? Also, please forgive me for being nosey but do you live near Sina ??? Thanks for all your great work. I'm positive that you are the "go to" for comments on Sina's channel. Aussie Al
Lonnie Richter and Donald Boettger - You are most welcome! Alan Young - Rosanna does most of the time consuming research. That makes it much easier for me to do most of the assembling. I subscribe to a number of other channels but don't have the time to get heavily involved. You will occasionally find brief comments from me on Norbert-Tristan's channel - he features videos of Sina playing live with The Gäs so do take a look there. Physically I live about as far away from Sina as you do but, on the internet, we're only a click or two away! Norbert-Tristan - Hi Tris. A Thursday appearance is rather unusual but it was by request and, as you know, we have some events to attend to on Friday and Saturday! Sina - As always, you're most welcome. That was very sweet to give me a shout-out. I guess I could say I "appeared" in one of your videos without even playing a note! Sal Buda - Hi Sal. You're welcome. Well, you know the kid does what she does! I don't have anything to do with Sina's workshop but my Friday evening and Saturday are committed to some family events!
she a freak.....as good as the original band drummer. That band YES, special from the early Beatle age. Band member ; Anderson lives here on Ca Central Coast. Good role model, works with the kids in the grammar school. He tells a story how he was a bartender in UK , Beatles were regulars there. He had own band.....one night sched band : Sly Stone was hung up in customs......not band, so he tells the owner, hey I have a band we can do it. Rest is history. My take is got have confidence to debut the band on same stage Beatles were on .
The pro are gifted .... sports , music , art . Some never learn to read music ? Rock on Met two rock stars : Anderson of YES ( Englishman ) and Tommy Skio of Tesla ( out Sacramento)
Boston's one of my favorite bands. I know, me and a bazillion other people. This is one of the most complex intros in rock music. Sina, you played it beautifully. Thank you.
What makes Sina such a great drummer is not just her technique but the feeling and emotion she puts into it. I've watched many drummers on TH-cam. Flashy, tricks, but with no feeling that gets boring real fast. Cause they all start sounding the same. I'm glad I found this outstanding young lady Sina. She is an artist on the drums. God bless you....WOW!
The feeling she puts into it? She's covering the song note for note, lol. Don't get me wrong, she's great, but it's kind of hard to talk about "feeling" when you're playing someone else's tune.
She sure is 😀 Sina helped me prove my Drum playing! This young Lady is an inspiration to all the drummers out these? Because if Sina and the Song Foreplay I almost have it mastered
Hi Sina: I've played music for over 50 years now, and I know smokin' radical, amazing drummers twice or even three times your age that can't do what you just did in this video! 😊 - Other than Sib Hashian himself, I've NEVER seen anybody pull this song off "note for note, balls to the wall freaking picture perfect like you just did!!! Awesome! Ok - you convinced me, there's a musical robot under your skin or something...! But what the heck, I'm a big fan anyway, you convinced me!!! 🙃 Word of warning from an old road-musician... Stay away from the alcohol, drugs, and jealous boyfriends! Do what you love and take off with it - - never look back, because you've got what it takes, so take it to everyone who loves you! God bless!!
@@Studio_Luvin You should be ashamed of yourself... I don't know what it is, but this "kid" brings tears to my eyes. Her precision, her timing, her constantly correct beat... everything. She'll go further and further! Rock on!
She is so talented for sure her intensity is so awesome and for her to be doing the songs I grew up listening to is to me the best music ever and she gets it
Love this! In my youth Sib Hashian was one of my mentors and I could play every Boston song. Sadly age has taken away my abilities. A close friend of mine was on a "Rock Cruise" where Sib was playing. And to everyone's horror, Sib passed away right there on stage, behind the drums of a heart attack. It still brings tears to my eyes every time I think about it. Watching you play Sib's creations brings back so many fond memories! You have an amazing talent Sina! Never lose it to drugs, broken hearts, or let yourself get carried away. Godspeed and keep Rock and Roll alive forever! Rest in Peace my old friend Sib Hashian.
I saw BOSTON in Concert in 1979,1980, and in 1982. You nailed the drum parts Sina. Sib Hashian, BOSTON"S long time Drummer is looking down from heaven smiling at you. :-)
If those who watch this young lady play do not see the the Heart the Soul the Talent The Energy and the Pure Love Sina puts into the Drums , I say open your eyes and heart your soul , Sina is the Ultimate Warrior in bringing Happiness into a World that is a Bit Confused . Thank you Sina you are a Beautiful Gift God has gien to the Universe .
I was just thinking I don't recall seeing anyone enjoy playing the drums the Great Karen was another one. She was really good on drums herself. And what made Karen's better is she really enjoyed it. I believe that Sina also.
@@e.jamesshepard7183 I don't know where in the hell you get saying there's Parts wrong you know what bud I know this song I know that music she got every damn thing spot on she did not mess up one time stop the jealousy bullshit. That girl can play her butt off she's damn good if people need to quit being haters big time she got this song. Perfectly
I have bin around music and bands all my life. I was a lightman for years. She plays drums better than some of the drummer's that I've bin around! FANTASTIC!!!!!
Can't tell you how many times I've watched this cover but can never get enough. Love when Sina does a cover how she brings the drums up in the mix. So many of the original recording buried the drums too far in the background Sina brings it right up where it needs to be and it reveals how intricate some of the drum parts really are.
I think this is my favorite song that she covers. She’s spot on, so much power and endurance! She finishes “Long Time” with just as much gusto as she begins “Foreplay”. For someone her age to do that is remarkable. Also I love the “Keith Moon” in her, that changes things up just a bit, but always for the better.
Okay. This is now getting ridiculous! I have never been a 'watcher' of drummers, (other than Keith Moon) my heart was built on bass and lead, listening to Buddy Guy, Stanley Clarke, John Entwistle, Jimi Hendrix and my absolute God, Kurt Cobain, but Sina, during this crazy Covid-19 Lockdown has totally opened my eyes again to the absolute perfection of how drumming should be. Sina has such class and just a pure talent for drumming that I cant stop watching her drum! The ease and the panache, the grace and just seeing the drumkit as being an extension of Sina is incredible! I have now watched SO many tracks and they all tell me that Sina is the best drummer in the WORLD! Not because, Sina has more clips or anything like that, Sina just has far more natural talent. Sina. I look forward to cheering you on at Glastonbury soon :)
I must agree that Sina us more than likely the greatest drummer in the world today and expect she will remain so as long as she drums while it will likely be a while after she's done drumming to ever see or hear or find one greater. Also what she and her father have done for other fabulous musicians of the word deserve a Hella kudos.
I try not to sound dumb, but would this be the Ian Hunter who sang “All The Young Dudes” with Mott The Hoople and has since enjoyed a successful solo career? I’m glad you are checking out Sina and her musicianship. She is amazing all around!
@@joebradley15204 yrs ago drummer Alan Gratzer commented & applauded Sina’s great job on Roll With The Changes. It’s a pinned comment at the top, easy to check it out
I watched and commented on this video 4 yrs ago and I was amazed I watch it again since and I'm still amazed she is in a trance the performance is just fantastic love the emotion she's showing too 👍
I have seen here with “ Gas”, Sina is amazing. The world has a prodigy drummer child amounting us. There is a lot of undiscovered talented young artists waiting for someone to notice them. From what I’ve watched Sina play, she’s not given all the credit she deserves. Sina, you are the best drummer in our lifetime, and I’m 68. You play spot on to the covers you play. Second to none honestly. My 3.5 year old grandson grabs my earphones and watches you play, especially Longtime by Boston. OMG, USA loves you!!
That's because they're stupid, and well - - stupid. Oh did I mention that they're stupid? You can never get enough stupid until you see someone using their mouse to click on stupid. I mean dislike, how stupid.
My first introduction to Sina was Whole Lotta Rosie by AC/DC . The hair on my whole body stood up! I was supposed to be resting but I sure couldn't sleep after that. 🤣 Sina rocks this song masterfully!
Oh my goodness I actually cried watching one of the many today,I'm so very impressed ,to see a young person actually excelling like this and shes incredible
The instrumentation, dynamics, and control of your kit is amazing, and always consistently improving. I am in awe of your ability, no matter what you are playing.
I have said this before and will say again. This is one of Sina's very best covers. Amazing cymbal work especially on Foreplay. Terrific sense of rhythm and her playing appears effortless.
My god Sina this is incredible!!! I am 58 years old and when this record came out it changed everything. It is beyond gratifying to see younger people like you totally embracing the vibe that this music brought to all of us. Man you just NAILED it. You are are proof that good music translates across generations. Thank you so much for doing this. You are an incredible drummer (this from someone who used to play music for a living) please keep playing you are an inspiration to everyone who sees you. Music crosses all ages you are proof of that. Thank you!
Sina you had the courage to play this song in its entirety with one of the most difficult introductions I've ever heard. That's why I'm your fan. Carlos Magno
Got my Sina hat, shirt and poster today. I'm 53 years old and I am supporting Sina...you know why?...because she makes everything sound better. I appreciate her covering songs like this. I really do.
I 'TOTALLY AGREE'.... YOUR CORRECT TO SAY/COMMENT SHE 'DOES' SEEM TO MAKE EVERTHING SHE PUT'S HERSELF INTO 'WAY BETTER'.... SHE GIVES IT A FRESH 'LIFT'.... LIKE A STEP 'UP'.... GOD BLESS HER....
Started another day in the shop with my Sina playlist loud enough to hear it at the end of my driveway. My driveaway is 200' long and all the winows and doors are closed in the shop because this is Michigan and its 70 during the day but 20 in the morning. So needless to say it, its pretty freakin loud. Sometimes I forget that I have her playlist running because every song she does is so close you cannot tell that its not the original recording. Also, thanks to her dad Mike that has first of all captured her talent and helped refine it to what it is today. He is also responsible for the videos that she posts. I think they are quite possibly the best videos on the "TUBE" He does an incredible job keeping all the videos in time as he pulls different cameras in and out of split screens along with the sound quality being right on!! Thanks Mike, you have an incredible daughter and thanks for everything you have done and whatever is next for us to feast on. I know I am glad that I stumbled across Sina about 3+ years ago. I don't even remember what I was looking for when one of her videos popped up, I have been hooked ever since.
WOW! This is a song that I've played more times than I can count and I know very well. I don't think I have ever heard a better drum line. I found a couple of spots that I could hear a difference from the original; but, I think if I were to play them side by side, this would be quite impressive. I think Sib Hashian would be very proud and honored if he were around to hear this. Kudos and great job.
Sina is literally a rock goddess! I asked the drummer for zepparella if she knows of her and she said "most definitely"! Sina is recognized worldwide for her ability to blow our minds with her brilliant drumming, and introducing other up-and-coming artists such as Andre and Victoria K. I'm 56, and I'm so happy to see the youth of the world will be carrying the torch as I listen as I go into my golden years.
This song was on the radio in heavy rotation all through the late Seventies. I've heard it so many times it's imprinted into my brain such that I know every single note, even without knowing it! Sina, you absoutely nailed it! I was never really a fan, it was always just a song in the background. This made me pay attention, though, and really brought this old song to life for me like never before; and as I said: OMG you nailed it completely! Thanks for more goosebumps! Ha-ha! : D
Incredibly good and she dares with songs that are very difficult for a drummer, not only is she accompanying the rhythm, she gives it life, it continues like this, with the years you are improving, like good wine.
WOW! As a person who has played the drums (in his younger years) I am totally amazed at this young woman's skill and love for the music that she is playing. When I watch and listen to Sina it brings me joy and hope for music in the future. I just hope that she will carry the torch for future musicians who love (what I believe to be) the greatest music in world history so far, the music of the mid 60s' and early 70s'. Keep going girl you have a real God-given talent.
Not easy to take on 'Foreplay' in a drum cover as it kind of leaves you little margin, but you pulled it off beautifully! Sina drumming along with the late, great Brad Delp on 'Long Time' is just a fabulous gift too! Thanks Ms. Sina and have a wonderful weekend! 👏👏👏👏👏👏
I'm 54 years old and I cant get enough of your covers. You truly are amazing! Keep it up, your going places most of us can only dream! Also so far this cover of Boston is my favorite! Rock on girl!
The opening 1:45 absolutely proves that Sina is world-class on the drums. I have listened to this song a gazillion times and Sina does the original Boston group proud! She is every bit as good as Tom Scholz was on the original recording in 1976. You can find videos of Boston's original version in many places on TH-cam. Sina is absolutely amazing! Very, very well done!
Boston was when the music I played would rattle your eardrums. I lived this music. I have not yet stopped being impressed by Sina. I was there. Been there, done that. Sina does it too........ Thank you Sina for helping me remember.
DAM GIRL"""ARE YOU KIDDING ME ? YOU NAILED IT? AS A DRUMMER I KNOW HOW DIFFICULT IT IS TO GET THIS ARRANGEMENT TO SOUND SPOT ON . YOU ARE A DRUM QUEEN 😊 AND SO YOUNG. GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR FUTURE. 🔈🔉🔊
@ Randy Johnson - see also her other covers, especially "Burn", "Sina one girl band", "Tiny voice", "Wipe out", "Sin wagon", "Tubular bells", "Sina play jazz"......Indeed, really really phenomenal drummer. And i play drums, i can only say that a girl is simply enchanting me.
Sina, is there nothing you can't play? Your vidios are awesome and your drumming skills are out of this world.👍👍👍you have many followers and we love you😘🌷💜
Sina is a "topshelf" drummer and amazing to watch her skills, this Boston song really gives the drum kit a workout and Sina's sticks are all over the snare, toms & cymbals spot on. Well done Sina!
Wiping the tears from my eyes... Can't hold them back when Sina knocks another one out of the park! They just fall out while I'm smiling, laughing, and crying, all at the same time! Song choices are perfect, by the way! Thank you Sina

Go Sina! I took a long drive several weeks ago and in the car was listening to my Boston CD (yeah some of us still use them). After that I got on TH-cam and watched videos of Tom Scholz _and many others_ playing those songs. Each time they started to drift from my mind TH-cam would remind me by offering another performer. What a surprise that finally today one who I'm *subscribed to* had one for me. That put a big smile on my face, and I was singing along and playing air guitar, imagining being there with you and having a good time. (Don't worry, I can sing. Then again, that's also what people who _can't_ sing say. 😧😜😱😵😄 ) It also reminded me of a month I spent in the 80s at a school learning studio recording. We used "Long Time" for practicing tape splice edits. So glad you did this one. :-)
When I watch Sina, I cannot look away.... she is one of the best female drummers in the WORLD! so many young female drummers will be watching this master, for years to come!
I could not have said it better. And has chosen some of the greatest songs ever. From my generation. I am 75 in 1 week! I can't get enough of her love! For real ROCK!!!❤
I think I was about 12 years old when Boston came about. I still remember all the buzz and fanfare. I remember my oldest brother went to see them somewhere in Michigan, probably Detroit. Awesome band . Sina is a pure talent.
I’ve been a piano/ keyboard musician for 60 years and have played with numerous musicians over the years. Sina is one of THEE most amazing drummers I’ve ever heard. Could listen to her for hours. Keep going kid, you give us older musicians hope that there is future of great musicians out there.
Sina is an excellent drummer. She has great stamina for a smallish young lady. She has great charisma and I love her choice of covers. She is picking all the great classics that I loved, but haven't heard in years. Way to go girl! I'm really glad I just wound up on your site!!
Brilliant cover.....her detail to the original is right on target.....when she sits behind her drums she owns that space.....she is driven by her love of the music and her part in it.....
Omg 😱, I can’t tell you how many times I have watched this. Sina is just insane on the drums. I’m 70 now and I still love this song and just watching her crank it out!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍🙏💕💕💕💕
I just cant even understand this talent from someone her age...she effortlessly sat in the pocket of a very complex drum riff....well done Sina, you never stop amazing me.....
... And that's why people like that have no talent in any sense. Drug induced illusions of grandeur of why they think they are much better than her says that sooner or later, those very same people who dislike will disappear into obscurity with a needle in their arm in some back alley lying in a pool of hobo piss. Hobos like - - NIck Nolte. Their only reason they think or choose to dislike her, is because some of them say that her drumming is too acute to be believed. That her talent is somehow developed from a coach who teaches her those skills. That could be true, but then, what drummer doesn't learn from a coach in school, which will lead them on to do better things like Sina can in her videos? Hats off to her coach who put her feet onto the road of dreams. As for the other disliking brood, they'll just be her witness and then crawl or slither away into an open drain pipe or get flushed down a toilet along with the other shitty debris.
It's a mouse skills problem. They collectively are attempting to hit the "THUMBS UP" and irreversibly/errantly hit the "THUMBS DOWN". These people are to be pitied like the crippled quadriplegics in wheelchairs who spend there days watching TH-cam only to be crushed by the express horror of an errant mouse click. This is a moment for pure pity.
funklover24 I tell my children this is my second favorite song in the world. The first is more than a feeling. At my funeral they will play all Boston and rush songs
Came back to this because its my favorite Boston song, followed by More than a Feeling. Boston is a fascinating band. At that time period between Rock and Disco. Sina, you always manage to reframe my perspective. 😀
Part of the beauty of sina's videos - apart from the incredible drumming - is the lighting and staging that make her every move so visible, including the soft lighting, the low camera angle, and the black background. The whole setup draws the viewer in, unlike most other drummer videos.
What a treat to watch you play this Boston classic! I am always impressed by your ability to just nail these classic rock tunes. Thank you and have a great weekend!
Excellent job! I'm 59 and playing piano since age 5 and guitar since 15, involved in rock music since high school, but you are teaching me a lot about drums!
I have an 8-year-old daughter who has begun playing on my new kit, and she has found her new hero. After 40 years of pounding pillows and playing air drums, the lockdown finally afforded me the opportunity to actually sit down and play. However, after three months of playing every day and watching Sina's videos I've realized that if this is talent, I have none. I am a Salieri, able to recognize and appreciate genius (a word I don't throw around) while possessing none of my own. Sina just blows me away with both her technical proficiency and raw enthusiasm, a combination that is exceedingly rare (and your taste is impeccable). I look forward to seeing her onstage live, streaming, and accepting awards. I hope my daughter can play half as well someday. Deepest respect.
You’re right. It’s also not about drumming. It’s about music, musicianship, about understanding it at the technical level, the emotional level, the theoretical level, the collaborative level, the historical level. Everything about the Sina we see says that every aspect of music simply exudes from every pore in her body, and the magic that she does on the drums just flows from all that. Of course, it’s also about total, all-in, single-minded dedication, discipline and hard work; without all of that, the only other explanation would be pure sorcery. Ok, I suppose that’s still also a possibility too.
Oh, man. This is great stuff. Fantastic. The mixing is a big step up - the highs are coming through loud and clear. Since this is a video to highlight the drumming, Sina *should* be in the foreground without losing the original, and the mix addresses this challenge perfectly. The energy, skill and precision Sina showed us should be dipped in gold and hung on the wall of the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame. i'm not quite sure how to engineer that, but it *ought* to be attempted!
Whenever I watch this, I’m so pleased I started sponsoring Sina a few years ago on Patreon. Having squandered the opportunity to become a serious musician myself, I decided to support this hard-working and dedicated musician, who is now performing at a level most drummers only dream of attaining. Rock on, young lady x
Boston! - have once dug out all the albums I have, must give myself all once again - this is going to be a long night .... 😉😊 many thanks for this wonderful cover in this high-resolution top quality 👍
Sina, yesterday when i came across your channel, i was instantly veeery pleasantly surprised and amazed by you and your drum playing !! :) I usually don't listen too much drum covers, not that i don't think they aren't good or so, but maybe it seems easier to just go and listen to the originals (i mean the whole songs, with all the instruments and melody). But when i've heard you playing with so much passion and dedication, i've regreted not knowing about your channel earlier. :) I've listened to many of your drum covers here on YT, and in every video you're not just playing well, you're pouring your BEAUTIFUL soul to create ART ! And we thank you for that ! :) And like some people said in the comments before, DON'T you ever change that, or don't you ever let others change the way you feel about music! :) Good luck in all your projects and keep creating, keep dreaming big !
The fact she stops the cymbals at just the right moment shows Sena’s attention to detail. Technical proficiency is one thing, but to have that AND the feel and groove of the song, is something few people possess. Well done Sena.

Aussie Al
Thanks so much, Rosanna & Juliet :))
This is not just music, this is athleticism, artistry, theatre, and poetry in motion. A joy to watch.
I`m 67 years old and played drums most of my life in local bands and never came close to what this young lady can do . SHE IS AMAZING !!!
Daniel knows
I'm 52..tone deff and have no beet. My god I know when I hear good music. This girl and her music band and more importantly The support. Xxoo.
she a freak.....as good as the original band drummer.
Rock on
Met two rock stars : Anderson of YES ( Englishman ) and Tommy Skio of Tesla ( out Sacramento)
Sina is really good. She has great wrist action, especially on the ride cymbal.
Nice to see young ones listening to quality what a talent go girl awesome ❤❤❤
Boston's one of my favorite bands. I know, me and a bazillion other people. This is one of the most complex intros in rock music. Sina, you played it beautifully. Thank you.
I love the fact that you jam to actual music.
God bless you....WOW!
i agree with you 100 percent my friend
true , she looks possessed by the rythm like Ginger Baker or Keith Moon
The feeling she puts into it? She's covering the song note for note, lol. Don't get me wrong, she's great, but it's kind of hard to talk about "feeling" when you're playing someone else's tune.
She sure is 😀 Sina helped me prove my Drum playing! This young Lady is an inspiration to all the drummers out these? Because if
Sina and the Song Foreplay I almost have it mastered
Que exibição nota 1000
This song is a song a drummer can show off on. Thanks for taking this 60 year old man down a trip down memory lane when I was 12 years old. ❤❤❤❤
She's a perfectionist - she's got the cymbals dialed in precisely. 2 crashes, ride and high-hat all sound perfect.
Toms, kick and snare no less perfect
Not to mention her spirit - so on it! Very impressive. Cant learn that from a teacher. Exactly the right level of aggressiveness. Total pro.
@@robtcondon Absolutely! You cant teach that shit, you either have it or you don't.
Word of warning from an old road-musician... Stay away from the alcohol, drugs, and jealous boyfriends! Do what you love and take off with it - - never look back, because you've got what it takes, so take it to everyone who loves you! God bless!!

This comment is so badass, I hope she reads it. Rock on Sina and Michael Donehoo!
I don't know what it is, but this "kid" brings tears to my eyes. Her precision, her timing, her constantly correct beat... everything. She'll go further and further! Rock on!
Same! What’s up with that? Talent, skill, passion… just something about it stirs emotion somehow.
She is so talented for sure her intensity is so awesome and for her to be doing the songs I grew up listening to is to me the best music ever and she gets it
Instant fan. How do you become a fan of Sina? Listen to one song... hooked for life.
No doubt. Just did. Unbelievable...
Definitely
A year and a half ago for me. So yes I agree wholeheartedly with you Laddie.
Me too!
That is what happened to me as well
I keep coming back to this one. Her cymbal work on Foreplay is just sublime. Love it! Rock on little sister.
Talk about a shock.....
I saw BOSTON in Concert in 1979,1980, and in 1982. You nailed the drum parts Sina. Sib Hashian, BOSTON"S long time Drummer is looking down from heaven smiling at you. :-)
I CAN’T WATCH THIS WITHOUT MY EYES SWELLING WITH SMILING TEARS....GOD BLESS YOU SINA 🙏

This is my absolute favorite of Sina's.
Agreed. MUSIC. is Happy. Hope.
I love it when she's into it so much she comes off that throne!
I see it really good. That's why she is my favorite drummer. So much energy.
I was just thinking I don't recall seeing anyone enjoy playing the drums the Great Karen was another one. She was really good on drums herself. And what made Karen's better is she really enjoyed it. I believe that Sina also.
Not only is she outrageously adept, she picks the coolest 80's classic rock. Thanks Sina :)
This album came out in '76, if you were referring to this song.
Yeah, try 70’s not 80’s
There is no classic from the '80s.

I never knew how difficult the drumparts of Foreplay were until I watched you do them in your masterful way... This is a great Sina performance....
Same here!
I'm no drummer or musician but,,
that was more involved than I anticipated for that piece.
Thanx Sina, great job!
Playing the song wrong doesn't make it maaterful. Several parts were completley incorrect.

Please, Eric, tell us specifically what "parts were completely incorrect". Otherwise your comment is pretty worthless.
Eric Shepard I’ll be Sinas not watching your Boston cover
I have bin around music and bands all my life. I was a lightman for years. She plays drums better than some of the drummer's that I've bin around! FANTASTIC!!!!!
I love the power and PASSION Sina plays with. She totally feels the music. I love Boston and she nails every beat. Shes awesome
First time I saw her I asked myself “how do those skinny little arms generate that power?”
from someone who's listened to this song for over 40 years and played it almost as long. You're right on. Sib would be proud.
@@TampaJohn Indeed! My favourite current "Keith Moon style drummer" .
It looks complicated for my brain!
@@trevorpomroy550Keith!
Amen!

I must agree that Sina us more than likely the greatest drummer in the world today and expect she will remain so as long as she drums while it will likely be a while after she's done drumming to ever see or hear or find one greater. Also what she and her father have done for other fabulous musicians of the word deserve a Hella kudos.
Panache WORD Sina u r #1. So u can sport da Nelly song-I am #1
I try not to sound dumb, but would this be the Ian Hunter who sang “All The Young Dudes” with Mott The Hoople and has since enjoyed a successful solo career? I’m glad you are checking out Sina and her musicianship. She is amazing all around!
One of my favourite Boston tracks played to perfection. What a lady! Total respect.
I wonder how often the original artist hear these covers and think, we need to do this again with Sina on the drums!
I wonder the same often. She could tour with anyone lol. Amazing passion and accuracy.

Don't know why I barely listened to Boston songs in the 70's. Probably as there was no Sina to watch playing the drum parts. Great song, great cover!
This one is truly amazing as is Hitching a Ride (might be the best instrumentals I have ever heard).
How can anyone not be impressed by this kids skills? She's like the Bruce Lee of drums... amazing and talented skills right here.
Check her band out GAS.
Awesome !
"Bruce Lee on drums" :-) :-) Perfect !
That's because they're stupid, and well - - stupid. Oh did I mention that they're stupid? You can never get enough stupid until you see someone using their mouse to click on stupid. I mean dislike, how stupid.
The beginning, and how good she is, brings tears to my eyes... Absolutely Phenomenal girl...

My first introduction to Sina was Whole Lotta Rosie by AC/DC . The hair on my whole body stood up! I was supposed to be resting but I sure couldn't sleep after that. 🤣 Sina rocks this song masterfully!
Sina is pretty damn good.
Can't say it brings tears to my eyes... but it definitely gives me goosebumps no matter how many times I watch it.
Sina is fantastic!
It brings tears to my eyes knowing she's a better drummer than me.😪
Wow this was an absolutely brilliant cover. Bravo, you really got the vibe on this.
She is truly gifted. I love the fact she plays the tunes i grew up with. ....Sina You have a gift ,embrace it and run with it. Thanks
There is nothing to be said about this cover of Foreplay/Longtime, it's simply perfection.
Oh my goodness I actually cried watching one of the many today,I'm so very impressed ,to see a young person actually excelling like this and shes incredible
This song is the perfect song to highlight drumming skills. Bravo!
I grew up listening to Boston and you killed it. Watching you play makes me smile.
The instrumentation, dynamics, and control of your kit is amazing, and always consistently improving.
I am in awe of your ability, no matter what you are playing.
Wow! I just got goosebumps listening to one of my favorite songs of all time. Thank you, Sina.
I have said this before and will say again. This is one of Sina's very best covers. Amazing cymbal work especially on Foreplay. Terrific sense of rhythm and her playing appears effortless.
totally agree, Foreplay is done extremely well.
My god Sina this is incredible!!! I am 58 years old and when this record came out it changed everything. It is beyond gratifying to see younger people like you totally embracing the vibe that this music brought to all of us. Man you just NAILED it. R. U from outer space lol. Nice kit
This girl doesn't just play music...she feels it! Keep on reaching for your dreams.
She channels it she never misses a beat, any song, Amazing talented young lady!!
SHE IS THE DRUMS!

You have a special talent. We are so privileged to be able to observe your perfection. Thank you.
Sina is literally a rock goddess! I asked the drummer for zepparella if she knows of her and she said "most definitely"! Sina is recognized worldwide for her ability to blow our minds with her brilliant drumming, and introducing other up-and-coming artists such as Andre and Victoria K. When I watch and listen to Sina it brings me joy and hope for music in the future. :-)

Been watching your more recent posts. This is four years old. I'd say this is still one of your best posts Sina! Rocks!
The only ppl who leave a thumbs down are only doing it becuz they are jealous of the talent that this young lady has.
This is part of what's wrong in this world. How could you not appreciate the talent and determination this young lady has.

Part of the beauty of sina's videos - apart from the incredible drumming - is the lighting and staging that make her every move so visible, including the soft lighting, the low camera angle, and the black background. The whole setup draws the viewer in, unlike most other drummer videos.

😉😊
many thanks for this wonderful cover in this high-resolution top quality 👍
Sina, yesterday when i came across your channel, i was instantly veeery pleasantly surprised and amazed by you and your drum playing !! :) I usually don't listen too much drum covers, not that i don't think they aren't good or so, but maybe it seems easier to just go and listen to the originals (i mean the whole songs, with all the instruments and melody). But when i've heard you playing with so much passion and dedication, i've regreted not knowing about your channel earlier. :)
I've listened to many of your drum covers here on YT, and in every video you're not just playing well, you're pouring your BEAUTIFUL soul to create ART ! And we thank you for that ! :) And like some people said in the comments before, DON'T you ever change that, or don't you ever let others change the way you feel about music! :)
Good luck in all your projects and keep creating, keep dreaming big !
very cool song - i had not heard it but love how its sounds - as always, wicked percussion :)
Thanks Mikalyn ;)
@@The_Komzik - I am going to check out their other songs - so many people tell me about them!! thanks
The fact she stops the cymbals at just the right moment shows Sena’s attention to detail. Technical proficiency is one thing, but to have that AND the feel and groove of the song, is something few people possess. Well done Sena.
Gives one an appreciation of the drummer's art...
arms and legs seemingly all with a brain of their own,
working in perfect harmony :) ...
OMG my girl Sina! You completely crushed that! You truely amaze me and love your taste! You are are an amazing talent!
WOWSER! I've listened to this song so many times and THIS was off the charts. Such a dynamo drum performance!
I have that drum solo memorized in my head. And your spot on.
