Yeah my man I know that. I was explaining in the video about the map with markings, that's what the easter egg is related to. The streets in Villedor don't have the street names from the map anywhere so I was saying "the easter egg in the map has to be in elysium". That's what I was saying man lol
This is definitely a hint to Elysium. I have a good feeling that techland is only trying to make it a surprise, which is why they are not confirming it. Here are some of the reasons why Elysium is more than likely to be DLC 1: 1. Hints from places, like this video towards Elysium 2. NPC in game saying Elysium will be unblocked in a few months (this is when the dlc1 arrives) 3. DLC1 information is that it's location is in Villedor but it's a new area. Elysium is the only possible place they can put the new area in since otherwise they'll entirely need to change the lod textures if they are adding something not present in the current one. Some people are going with theories that are not even close to this, they are assuming it's gonna be in harran even though it's confirmed it's in Villedor. It's more than likely that due to the new art direction, 2018 Elysium will be very different than the 2022 one. That's all I have for what this dlc could be.

@Haxkarl OP did say that he could've meant that it wont be the same Elysium that we saw in the trailers because of the new art direction they've taken it in. It would be a shame to have that zone on the maps literally everywhere and subway tunnel maps connecting to it.

Same thing they said before the game released about how there wouldn’t be any returning characters from the first game… then it releases with Spike in it & talks of Tolga & Fatin. It’s called misdirection & the devs aren’t going to outright ruin a surprise or secret.
I love just exploring in this game. They devs also said they will support this game with free and paid DLC for a minimum of 5 years……I don’t doubt that for a second, as the done the same with the first game. I hope the paid DLC is as good as the following DLC from the first game.

That is a very good question my friend! I have the same exact thoughts! I'm pretty sure they confirmed it's coming in a new DLC I'm not exactly sure how they will introduce it though, maybe they will say that there are some safe spots in the city while the majority got destroyed? Or maybe they could say that it was somehow was protected from the chemicals? I'm not exactly sure how, but we should get an answer soon when they release more info on the next DLC! And I'll make sure to post more videos related to this topic with the more info we get!

Hmm, Techland has been pretty solid with the teasers and easter eggs going back to Dead Island. But hopefully they actually explore these in the next few patches and updates.
