Thank you, Kevin. A bit of everything on this one. I was pruning Almond trees with a battery backpack and an electric chainsaw. Then I injured my back. I was aiming to do a few bike tours before I came back to Victoria. So I've ordered a -20 celsius sleeping bag. Should arrive tomorrow. Then in couple of weeks snow camping, riding. Cheers Chris.

Excellent filming Chris. Loved the Zebra Finches and the yellow foot wallabies. In fact all the animals you featured. Red breasted robin and the eagles.
I visited the Flinders Ranges in the early 1990s. Fantastic place. Weren't they formed by a huge meteor strike?
Like the Lauf fork on your bike.

Thanks, Alex. It's a great place. They are folded mountains coming from the ocean floor originally. Converting my bike to a 29-inch wheelset as soon as I can afford it. Need to be back on the bike full-time. I went to South Australia to prune Almond trees with a chainsaw. But injured my back after 2 weeks. So back in Victoria for now. Cheers, Chris.

Some fatnastic footage from the A1 there! You're close enough in age to me I'd say to have grown up with Storm Boy on the Coorong.

Thanks, I'm converting my bike to 29 inch wheels as soon as I can. Then selling the van and going fulltime on the bike. Probably take me sometime but has to be done. ( It will be done by next year.) Cheers Chris.

Chris, how long did it take for the Mary Peak summit circuit - I bet only 6 hours for you :) Did it way back in 1988 so brought back some great memories. You get some superb footage of the wildlife too, just fabulous !! Cheers, Richard

Thanks, Richard. I think it was about 6 hours. There were 3 guys who walked it in bare feet at the top when I got there. I've always ridden by on the Mawson trail, so was nice to climb it. Need to get back there on the bike for a month to really explore. Sometime ?.

Wow, best video to date. What brand bike rack do you use? It looks really robust, I'm still hunting a second hand one. Last time I was in the Flinders was back in 2002 and loved every minute of it. Can't say the same for my Holden ute.

Thanks, Not sure of the brand. I'll look in the day light tomorrow to see if theres a brand name. It's made for up to 5 inch tyres for the fat bike. The gravel roads were really dusty and corrugated.
