For everyone commenting how she sounds down, unenthusiastic or not okay it's literally a fucking makeup tutorial. Not everyone is naturally chipper and this is her natural tone and voice. She is just voicing what she is putting on. What do you expect her to do, constantly laugh and grin? She sounds perfectly normal...stop making assumptions.

youre not jumping out ofthe screen with excitement so you must be "changing" or "uninterested".. shes filming a voice over.. imagine you sittimg over your mic rewatching yourself do your makeup in your room after spending hours editing and i cant imagine yous bursting at the seems either.. people are so quick to comment and scrutinize and then thinking by putting "i love your videos tho" at the end of it makes it all okay.. dont.mind them.. do you!

+Nadine Hannon but its her CAREER, in other words, its her JOB to provide viewers with content that is enjoyable. And yes, if it was my job, I would put in more effort. I am passionate about my job/career which is why I try and put in 100% effort. We all work and some of us have harder jobs than sitting on our arses and edited a video..
"spending hours editing" isnt a good enough reason for doing a half ass job.
p.s. no body asked her to "burst at the seems" or whatever you were trying to say there. Theyre just requesting that she be a little more enthusiastic (for a video that lasts 10 minutes), whats the big deal or offensive content in that?

She has got to be the dullest person I have watched. Definitely unsubscribing this time, every time she uploads (lucky if that's once a month) I hope that it's going to be like old Lauren who was fun to watch and had some personality. Money isn't worth doing something you don't love.

No hate but I feel like Lauren has become less enthusiastic and disinterested in her videos during the last few months. It's clear from some other comments that a lot of others feel the same. I remember she said in an old video that if she wanted to quit youtube she would, which is why I feel disappointed that she now does youtube primarily for the money, fan obligations, etc. I could be completely wrong here but I don't think I am, since a lot of other fans have noticed it too.
It's also clear that a lot of her views have dropped from what they were, so a lot of viewers are either bored with her videos or can tell that she is not as interested as she used to be. Of course Lauren is free to do whatever she wants and my opinions do not dictate what she does, but I hope that if my hunch is right about Lauren that she figures out what she wants to do and is happy with her choices, not what makes her the most money. And if anybody actually reads this comment, I am not being rude, mean, etc. This is simply me being observant to the (probable) truth and discussing it. Being critical doesn't make anybody a bully, simply observant. I'm not putting Lauren down, though I do wish that if she reads this comment that she takes this advice on board and listens to her fans.

I' m really sorry to bring this up but this is the first of your videos that I didn't enjoy as much. It seemed to me that you were in a hurry to get it done and out of the way. Hi lauren, I've been watching you since you were at 50k and have seen every video you've uploaded. I just thought I'd try give some constructive feedback. I'd love to see more favourites videos, or more celebrity inspired looks. I personally believe that the ongoing criticism of you 'losing your passion' stems from the fact that it has been a little while since you've shared with us a new product that you're really excited about, or recreated a makeup look you that were really inspired by. I mean absolutely no disrespect by this because I love you and have been following you for the longest time, I just would personally really enjoy more inspired looks and favourites videos/videos where you're recommending products and sharing your knowledge. Also, I think some collabs with other youtubers would be really fun to see!! Thanks for reading, have a lovely day xxx

(In regards to all the comments about the lack of enthusiasm, I feel like she seemed mellow in this video but she's not generally an overly loud/hyper/super emotionally vocal person anyways😞. I think the thing to ask is more if anything is wrong/bothering her rather than questioning "lack of commitment," enthusiasm, or interest.)

Don't know about all of you in the comments but I would MUCH rather watch an informative 7 minute long make up tutorial than someone constantly blabbering on for 30 minutes and screaming 'YAAAASS' every 5 seconds when applying their makeup. I think Lauren is fab and this look is gorgeous, can't wait to try it out on myself and I'm sure thousands of other people will too
I don't think that she's unenthusiastic at all! She's still the same to me. Same little giggles in between her sentences that she finds funny (I find it adorable). It's a makeup tutorial. She filmed herself doing makeup and now she's doing a voice over including her opinion of the products that she used. Do you guys laugh by yourselves by doing your makeup alone? Like what more do you need from her? The look was amazing and beautiful. Please stop the negativity.
I quite like most of the looks that Lauren produces.
I did notice a trend of just Natural looks so I got a bit bored at one stage & stopped watching her.
I find that the make up always turns out great. Garunteed (in my opinion) to look flawless.
I personally just get bored early on in her turtorials.
To me, she produces perfectly good tutorials but I prefer to watch TH-camrs with a bit more of an extraverted personality to keep me entertained as well as educated.
My personal preference.
How many times she uploads or doesnt & how she presents is upto her. Wether or not its what you want to watch is upto her.
Dont knock her cos I can bet none of you know her personally.
Who are we to judge?

I wish you would put a small clip of the finished look at the beginning of the video. It's hard to see from the thumbnail exactly what it looks like and I find myself always having to skip to the end to see if the look is something I want to watch or not. Just something to think about because your videos are really great!

There are a lot of people commenting about Lauren seeming different or unenthusiastic in her videos lately. For me personally that's not the point. I don't care whether or not she's enthusiastic or excited about what she's doing because I came here to learn and enjoy makeup. However I as a viewer would appreciate certain things being changed, for example I think it would show more effort if along with listing the product in the down bar you said the shade names as you go along, this way the tutorial might be a little easier for people to follow along with. That being said while I don't think Lauren owes it to anyone to be anything but true to herself, I do get where people are coming from. We watch beauty videos because we love beauty and we want it to seem like the person making the video loves makeup just as much as we do.
any tips on how to get the beginning part of your eyebrows to be softer than the rest of it when your brows are completely differently shaped at the beginning? Needless to say I have cousin eyebrows not sisters.. I have to overdraw the one a fair amount (in my opinion) and therefore ends up dark. I am using the Anastasia Dip Brow. Thank you!

What I love the most of you is that you dont run behind this New makeup phases such as baking or heavy contour things, you stay with your techniques and show us that you can look like a star without baking the hell out your face and putting tons of dark concealer on your nose. love you lauren!
