At the start of the season, they had Chambers ranked, I think, 241 in NC. Last week they were ranked 40 sum in NC and somehow they still not ranked 1 this week, even though they just got moved up to #43 nationally. Like bruh, right now there is a Georgia team in the NC rankings, makes no sense.

The starting qb did not play Saturday night. He’s in the 11th grade and was the back up quarterback last season. He has a strong arm and pretty fast. He’s also wearing number 2.
HS starting QB did not play as well, he is still recovering from a separated shoulder that he suffered in the last game of the season. He is a senior and he won't be back until October. I believe this game was too much for our sophomore QB. Both number 12 and 16 are sophomore qb's that played jv last year. Either way I enjoyed the game and I hope both teams win their state championships.
SRJ, I too enjoyed the game. I was at the game Saturday night and what I took from the game was the respect both teams displayed to each other. Their wasn’t any trash talking or dirty plays during the game. The only unsportsmanlike penalties were for celebrating. The referees were great compared to the I thought that HS fans were great. Because the crowd, some of HS fans had to sit on Chambers side and it was some trash talking going on but it was all in fun. After the game one of HS football players walked by Chambers while they were having their post game huddle and congratulated the team. The players and coaches said thank you and gave him the thumbs up. Now that was a class act from that young man.
Accidentally hit the send button. The referees was much better the the NC referees that we had last week. Next year we hope to have another fun and clean game on the field and in the stands. “Thanks HS”

3 Years ago chambers was called vance high school and they where not good. The team in charlotte was mallard creek. Chambers aka vacne could not get past them.
I agree, I was saying the same thing, chambers front 7 was a big asf. HSHS team in s not built for a power running game yet the OC kept trying to play that style. Highland springs should thrown short passes because it was open. The strength of that team is their senior wr's. All 4 receivers have division 1 offers..
I’m sorry and I mean very sorry to say this because I have a lot of respect for HS but this game should’ve been a blowout. Chambers was playing without Bubba Camp at QB. Dymere held it down but missed a lot of reads and wide open receivers (Dymere is also D1 caliber QB btw) but in reality had the coaches not hyped this game so much Chambers should’ve probably put 40+ on them.. Highland Springs did not look good at all and Chambers didn’t play as well as they can.

In addition, we missed alot of scoring opportunities from several pass interference calls that were called on Chambers that saved a couple of touchdowns. Both qbs that played against chambers were sophomores and over threw several passes in the game. With all that size Chambers has up front HS still moved the ball on them. Number 12 is a sophomore for HS and already has offers from ODU and Maryland. I can't wait until the rematch next year when our young sophomores grow up a little. Keep that same energy next year bro.
I tried to tell these ppl. Chambers was missing 3 starters. We should had dog those boys. Highland Springs not ready for 4a football. They need to play Shelby and Reidsville or another 2a powerhouse
They don't play many out of state teams and last few years have dominated the state they have gotten lazy because of it. It's showing just nobody they play in state have caught up to them
A lot of sophomores in the secondary this year. Last year senior dbs are at Oklahoma, Virginia tech, and Boston college. Most of the dbs you see out here we're freshmen last year, playing on jv. They have improved as the season went on this was the first game of the season.

Highland springs have zero secondary lol those kids are terrible in coverage
