I started playing chipp in strive and i really liked speed of a fighter plane, but the fact that one fucking misinput can literally kill me, meant couldn't progress in the tower because im new to fighting games and cant input 70 moves in a second. So i found other characters way more rewarding to play as. Now he's like my third main. First is Nago, second is Sol
it's the same with Slayer, the only difference being he has as much health as Pot does + 10 times easier inputs, making the gap between difficulty to learn and difficulty to counter pretty massive. Not even May, Sol or Ram are that braindead and overtuned
Chipp players will claim their insane pressure is fine because they have the lowest healthbar but when they die in the high damage game they get so mad
true, but honestly, Slayer is overtuned. When playing against Slayer with characters like May or Sol which are by no means a "low health characters", it feels the same way. Slayer just evaporates health, easily doing over 300 damage with some meter and a decent counterhit (which, by design, he gets a lot)
Definitely didn't lose like 5 matches before this

Yeah Chipp gets 2-3 shot but Chipp strangles you with pressure so you really only get 1 chance to kill Chipp. I'd rather face SLayer.
