Is the turbo available with safety features and the Harmon Kardon stereo? AWD? Thanks for the video!! I'm liking the unique features of this vehicle :)
So it’s a fancy car...but not that fancy. Don’t be thinking there’s things like 360 camera or autonomous breaking. Those kind of things are a few years away from Being seen in the soul. Sound system is decent!
Great video and review. Thank you. Being that you have a Kia Soul, have you noticed any drifting towards the right (or left) side of the road? I just bought one and it appears to be drifting when I drive it (to the right). I got an alignment done, but the problem persist. I was just wondering if others experienced this.
3 years of driving one and I gotta say you’re alone on that one. It’s boxy and does tend to catch the wind. If you’re driving a highway with strong crosswind gusts, there’s definitely a more pronounced tug to either side. But normal driving shouldn’t.
@@HeyItsMaher Hey. Thank you for responding. I greatly appreciate your feedback. It turns out I had some bad tires. Replaced them this weekend and the car is dead center. I'm enjoying it more now. Thanks again, you've gained a sub.
Thanks for clarifying your question: the “+” designates a specific trim line that may be available regionally available. That generally would mean an EX model would have features like heated seats or upgraded technology, whereas the EX+ would add a sunroof without upgrading to the next line up that may include features like leather seats etc. That said, this model is no longer in production, and you may not be able to find your choice of colour. The new 2020 Soul is available in a similar orange.
Don't forget, there's always going to be regionally available options...but in this case I was totally wrong. I read the tire size marking on-the-fly and totally failed. If you pause the video, you can see 17" mounted. That being said, LX trim has 16" with steel covers, EX and EX+ have 17" alloys, EX-Prem & EX-Tech have 18" machine finished alloys and then finally all SX lines have 18" sport alloys.
The volume knob is also the power button. Push that to turn on/off the audio and screen functions. This is just a general, things may be different on your model.
17 inch tires right? so the current soul had been running for 6 years now 2014-2019 and many thought the new generation of soul would've been out by 2018, guess Kia never want to end the current Gen. when is the 2019 Soul EV going to release? I heard that theres 0 improvement over 2018 lol...
My money's on 2020 for a new release. Aside from minor styling details, the only big change to the Soul came in 2017 with the release of a turbo model. As for EV, we don't actually get it at all here in Alberta. Its quite popular in Ontario, but not here!
good. Just that you said 15 inch tires I think =). I hope after all these years the 3rd gen will be really improved, Soul is the only car with this size that has such a big tailgate opening areas at 30 inch high, even the Niro only got 27 inch high tailgate opening, which is the only reason I don't want a Niro
Depending on the particular model, you may have a spare tire located in the rear, or the tire mobility kit, which is designed to help repair/re-inflate your tire temporarily. Much like a spare tire, a repaired tire should only be driven at slower speeds, and only as a temporary fix as you get yourself to a dealership of proper repair or replacement.
I am getting one in February 2019, can't wait. Been looking at them since 2010, did not get it then, but now is the time.
You’re right! Snag the turbo because they’re going fast.
Wait for the upcoming 2020..way nicer
Me too. Just purchased base model Kia soul 2019 with the convenience package in the Alien II color. 💘 it ⚡🌠
@Elizabeth Brewster-Rutherford Enjoy the ride🏁🏁🏁

"Oh! Newsies" - HA! That alone makes this the best car review I've watched. :)
Thank you! This is the model Ill be purchasing in the new year. Its great to see a well in-depth video that isn't on the Turbo.
Now now...don’t be dissing the turbo... mine’s a turbo!
@@HeyItsMaher lol hey now. No hate to the Turbo. Its fantastic!! Wish it were in my price range!! Just nice to see a review on the other models :)
Ahaha ok. We’re good then! Glad you liked the overview! Anything else you’d like to see?
maybe a look at the Kia Sportage? My mom is considering that one next as a step down from a Dodge Caravan that I've nicknamed "The Beast" lol!

Bought a 2018 Kia Soul Exclaim Turbo in July. Love it.
Do they have the mood lighting on ALL of the Kia Soul 2010-2019?
No not all, but most!

Does the Kia plus come in the Wild Orange color?
What is the Kia plus? I’m not familiar with that model?
There is the base, plus, and i believe LX and Ex trim. I think they don't have that color any more but not sure

Kia web site says this has 17" tires, you are saying 15"? That's a big difference

The speakers, does the lighting come in the basic
No, LED accents are not a feature on base units.
What to do when the radio screen doesnt come on
How can I fix it

My dream car. I gotta get it someday haha. Still no all wheel drive?
Not yet! But let’s hope soon!
Is it keyless entry in the base model to
There is remote entry, but not the style with the push button on the handle. Just a remote on the key.

It looks exactly the same as the 2015 model. The 2015 model als has the lights around the speakers

I know tires have great quality but I want at least a donut if I have to change a flat
The space can fit one, and it’s included in some models. It’s a matter of fuel economy and cost savings, that’s why they don’t all come with!
No spare tire?

Last look((
yeah, but the 2020 looks sweet!
