As someone building a mk2 92 gti for stage rally we are very interested in this project. Great video we are about to do some of the same things. Can’t wait to see this out on stage
Looking forward to it! Maybe you could then go into some details about what went wrong. Sadly there will be issues on the first rally more often than not. Our Golf had engine cutouts this season because the launch control (which was supposed to be turned off) did randomly engage in the middle of the stage. Took till the last stage to figure it out, atleast one good stage time after all :)
Is this the actual (use to be red) G60 Golf Rallye you had sitting on (roped off) display outside of the Sunday River Lodge NEFR headquarters a few NEFRs ago, I believe it was the '19 or '20 event (I was volunteering/working those events)? Engine fully built now? Which gearbox are you using? Are you going to be running those old school, Revolution rally spec five spokes I see leaning against the wall on it?
