I will have to try the dice pool system as I've never played a system. Well, that's a lie, I played FATE once but I want to play a game where I can bring a bucket of D6's and still not have enough XD
Well Shadowrun uses a bunch of them. Then again, so do war games. I have an old friend who had a Warhammer 40K army called the "Buckets of Dice Nurgle Army" and he literally had a bucket of d6's. As for RPG's I believe that to SR to be the one that uses the most but I'm sure there are other I can't think of.
The very first Star Wars rpg's by West End Games uses d6 for stats and skills. For example a wookie can have a 6d6 in strength and if he has a a skill in axes of 2d6 his total is 8d6 to hit what target number he needs . One of the dice is always a diffrent color from the others to represent a wild die and on a roll of a 6 on the wild die you roll it again adding its number to the total rolling 6's again and adding then but if the wild die is a 1 It's subtracted from the total along with the highest die in the pool and a mishap happens
For the d100 system, an excellent example would be the old Marvel Superheroes RPG from TSR back in the 80s. Everything that would be done with a skill is based on the character's attributes. Powers have their own score. So if you want to shoot a weapon you roll using your Agility attribute. If you are using your power of fire generation to throw a fireball you use the power's rank. Everything is rolled in an action table with different result levels. Really fun game. Characters are pretty much at full power when created but you can enhance them, but it's a slow process.
For D6 pool systems you can't go wrong with the many systems based on the old Star Wars RPGs from West End Games. As mentioned in a comment earlier, you can roll a ton of dice in some cases, especially if you spend a Force or Hero point which doubles the dice you roll in a round. Very fun games!
I agree, although... at the same time it kind of feels "wrong" in a game when you're trying to roll low, as higher numbers are usually automatically associated with equaling better.

Just a linguists note, humans do not think in base 10, speakers of languages that use base 10 do. Other languages don’t necessarily use base 10

(Justin) never played that but that sounds pretty interesting!

Thanks for the input and reply! WEG made some good stuff!
Rolemaster and Merp use it as well
The RPG - D100 Dungeon is the best!
D20 roll under feels like a sweet spot for me, and players know right away if they failed or succeeded

D100
Kevin Smith and Kevin Bacon
Don't quite know who that is directed at, but... ohhh. Ok, yeah I get it now haha. Thanks for watching!
@@gameon_ct Looks like a young Kevin Bacon for sure.
@@TheYetzerHara I have gotten that before. Better than looking like something bad I guess! Haha
Explains two different dice systems; never even touches the dice.
You've got a point!
