I'm very much a casual but I love learning about games I'll likely never play. So I'm not constantly watching boardgame channels. When I am in the mood, I enjoy your content because you always seem to go your own way. If you agree with the general consensus, it's because you agree, not because you follow the crowd. If you disagree with the consensus it's never out of a sense of contrarianism.
MY two thoughts 1) I do not always agree with what you say but I do respect what you say because you have earned my respect. 2) yes if you are a writer you should respect your readers. I sent an email to Anne McCaffrey years ago not ever expecting a reply. The reply I got blew me away and made me love the lady even more. It was not a quick note, it was a full page. I told her that she was the reason I started reading. I got the impression it did matter to her. That is how it should be when you meet your idol. All the best to you and yours!!!
Hey Rob, great video, I loved you talking about playing battletech, back in the day it was either a whole day of battletech, star trek tactical combat simulator or Warhammer/Wh40k (1st ed), take care and have a great new year!
We'll miss Ant Lab Games. They were top notch and authentic. All Aboard Gamer shut down this year too, another great gaming couple. There are a few authentic channels left like yours, but not many.

I know I have approached you many times at Gen Con and it was always a pleasant experience that felt very mutual, especially from you.

Both are my favorite but I think he was talking large scale boardgames and that is what I was trying to compromise in comparison
