4:40 The word you're looking for is "crenellated"--as in, the wall or parapet there is crenellated. The square indentations are called crenellations. They make it look like a castle. I looked up the house--not surprised it's almost 40 years old. It looks like whoever commissioned it really shelled out for quality material, design and construction and it feels like I don't see that as much in recent years. The details--woodwork, ironwork, floors etc. look like they're from the 1920s. Very charming and creative home! I love the Spanish/Moroccan vibe. I usually obsess over old Victorians, but I could live happily in this house!

Beautiful place! Not recommended if you’re a senior. Think of all the trip hazards and all the space you’d never need. Empty nester syndrome here would take on a whole new meaning. Its just too big for me and I appreciate my small room even more. The huuge expensive mansion makes the statement for small is functional - and beautiful. Taylor, thanks for that awesome tour of the nested Hollywood Hills hideaway! 😊

Takes me back. I stayed at my Aunt’s in Beverley Hills (S. Gale Drive) as a teenager, spent the previous year homeless, living in a small van 😆 I know which I preferred 😀 she eventually moved to Calabasas, but I never visited her there before she passed away. I loved my first visit though and even got in a movie! (scene cut 😔) lots of this Spanish influenced architecture around Hollywood, right? 😀

That is a very nice looking rustic mansion and I can imagine a mansion where Taylor will live in the future. A 5000sq/ft mansion that will have a special room just for spaghetti storage.😁 Thanks for the tour of this mansion. Maybe you can give us a tour of the Bran castle of Dracula in Transylvania, Romania next time. It's a very beautiful country to visit also a film location in Brasov, Romania where the movie" Cold Mountain" was filmed in the mountainous region you could visit.😂
