Fatal Fury is a 1-on-1 single Tournament, whereas the KOF, is a 6-person Elimination Format with different rules: 94-Present is traditional 3v3 Elimination match, 99-00 is the same but with a 4th member being a striker. 2001 is an everything goes style match, but the 03-XI, is a Tag Team Match, with the same 3v3 format but in one round.
