I love the way you review any car ,I have seen some of your reviews over and over ,not only that I love cars I love the way you review them , I have seen soo many people talk very bad about Maruthi ,I agree that in low end models like Alto and other Eeco and omni Maruthi does compromise the safety features , my parents met with and accident in Brezza after 4 months after the purchase for the people who says Maruthi tin ka Dabba and all ,the guy hit the left side almost at 80 Kmph with his small pick up ( like tata ace ) my parents walked out safely and the car was not badly damaged costed us arround 38000 to get it repaired ,and if u complain Maruthi about any problems that are not being resolved by dealership ,I bet that's the last day of workshop in charge , they changed a faulty clutch plate for me free of cost , thank you brother for giving a good review on this one @fasbeam
May I just say that there is absolutely no comparison for the 2 cars. The XUV is a full-on hardcore 7-str SUV, while the XL6 is an MPV at half the price. But if budget is not a problem, probably go for XUV.
how is build quality and with just two airbags is the safety worth it as per indian roads? I have done test drive of Alpha MT, with 6 family members on board loved the car but now want to be sure about build quality...?

Mostly people cry that transmission is bad because they drive it rough then they say transmission is bad. Ask the owners how do they drive. I am user for last approximately 8 years never came across a transmission issue or met anyone who drives in an okish manner & complain about it. ✌
