@@andersaastrup simple as in it is not a going to be a complex thing you make, it is going to be a simple thing. It'll still be hard to make cause you never did it before
Your videos have inspired me from the very beginning. To me, you are one of the best nature videographers on TH-cam. I watch your content with immense passion, and I’ve learned so much thanks to you. This video has truly given me more courage than I already had, and for that, I thank you. Best regards from a Belgian nature photographer/filmmaker!
Thank you so much for that comment. It truly means a lot and im grateful. Sometimes I still have to remind myself of this, staying on track. But this is motivation. Thank you :)
This is very relevant also to those of us who work in research; we call it 'imposter syndrome'. I know I've felt and still feel exactly what you're talking about. I imagine that is true for every scientist out there, and probably for practitioners of many other professions and hobbies as well. The thing that helps is to talk about it. Though it may make you feel vulnerable at first, the conversation helps you realize how common it is. I never thought about it also being an issue in other fields, but like you say it seems obvious once you know. This is the rare kind of video that I may have to come back and rewatch every now and then. Thank you for posting it!
Most of us hit that wall from time to time. It's as uncomfortable as it is normal. For me it's particularly uncomfortable being in front of the camera - which is necessary from time to time. What helps me is to think about why I am passionate about wildlife in the first place. I know the answer perfectly well. I focus on that and then move along.
I also feel awkward in front of the camera - especially when speaking English since it’s not my native language. I’ve done it in Danish for many years, but switching to English is completely new to me… but no matter how many times I do it - it still makes me feel uncomfortable 😅 but you are definitely right - just remember why you do it, hold on to that and push through. I believe it will get better over time 🙏 Just had a look at your videos - you are really making some nice stuff! Keep it up 😊👌 Subscribed!
The struggle is real, accepting the fact that the first thing you make is simple and then learn to crawl before we run is so important
It is - and pretty basic when you put it like that.. but when you’re in the middle of it.. it definitely doesn’t feel basic 😅

I guess this is relevant in almost any fields of work actually - maybe in different contexts, but still the same thing happening.. Thank you Peder 🙏😊
