i brough my dad to see avatar, when it came out way back, and after it was finished i turned to ask him what he thought and he replied you brough be to see Pocahontas.
Man, you gotta get Stargate Atlantis. One of the best sci/fi-series ever!! Highly recommended... from a guy who has fairly similar multimedia taste as yourself.
Pretty nice selection. I currently have two of the newer Planet of the Apes movies, Rise and Dawn on DVD, have yet to see both those movies and buy the third one. I remember seeing bits of the movie "Dreamscape" on TV as a Kid, in particular that moment with the Cobra-Man, never really saw the whole movie.
Love the New Matt Reeves Planet of the Apes Movies, really hated the old ones. Terminator has always been good and I tend to be more accepting of Terminator 3 in recent years since every movie after it has been brutally bad. T3 had Arnie in reasonable health, a badass villain, some great action sequences and a great twist ending. It's pretty decent all things considered.
You should try and find the terminator anime that tells the back story to the Blair Williams character from salvation, though I believe it was only released on dvd (at least I could never find a blu ray) hard to find but I think it’s worth it, also should do like I did with 5th Element after buying the steal book buy the shout! Release and put the shout! disc in the steelbook
I have it, I forgot to show it here, it'll be in the "DVD Remnants" section of the Sci-Fi overview. And you're right, it was only released on DVD. Shout Factory didn't do a release of Fifth Element...
It was some kind of fifth element special release it had a slip cover with Lelo jumping of the building with a fancy border and some new special features, it’s one of several blu rays (my Frankensteined edition were I put a better release disc in a different releases case or replace a single releases case to a two or three disc case to put extra disc in if the dvd has extra features that weren’t ported over
Yeah, I think I had the same DVD! Garbage quality, interlacing issues all over the place...just awful. This Blu-ray version is GORGEOUS, and really does the image justice.
2:43 The Terminator Blu-ray is one of the best transfers I've ever seen, looks absolutely fantastic and beats most 4K releases these days.
Great vid as always good stuff in your collection😀😀😀
29:15 I know what you meant, but the "best" version of The Fifth Element is the 4K release. ;)
Yeah, Avatar was definitely overhyped.
The Metal discussion lol
I would love it to see you do a review series on the Matrix trilogy

The Terminator 2 Bluray you have does it have the alternate ending and is it easy to find compared to the skynet edition
It doesn't have the alternate ending cut sadly.

I love Outland! But the dvd I have is one of the worst dvds I have ever seen. Still. Awesome!
