Good for you David. It's a strange place to unexpectedly and suddenly be and due to the fact that there aren't nearly enough individuals or supportive resources familiar with the entirety of the situation, it's VERY easy to find yourself misunderstood, lost, abandoned and entirety alone in a short amount of time, even by individuals you've known since birth. I pray for those who were close to you in the faith are able to remain by your side outside of the faith, as they too will face oppositional stresses and pressures to abandon you along the way. Unsecured footings and day to day change will become the norm, while forward movement will never cease to lead you to what you're truly seeking to discover. Good luck and God bless hun

I’m a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. I am so grateful for the gospel in my life and the church. People aren’t perfect but God is and my love for Jesus Christ is all that matters.
Alcohol, swearing and clubs may be fun for a moment but feel like nothing compared to the joy the gospel brings my life. Everyone has their journey but the sweetness of faith in Christ anchors me and brings peace. Nothing else can give me peace like that.

I'm sorry, but don't you realize most of your religion is based on freemasonry? All that little secret stuff was lifted straight from that group. You seriously think some guy named Smith got some magic hat and looked into it, and suddenly he invented a religion? I think alcohol and swearing are a lot less offensive than starting a religion so old Smithy could get his hands on multiple women, underage ones included.

Speaking as a convert, the darkness of the worlds does not compare to the peace and joy of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I looked up to him and he was the one person that I could know because he is a celebrity and apart of the church that made me happy now I feel like I’m alone. David did the right thing for himself it’s hard to know what god would have wanted him to do but taking your mom with you and your followers with you makes me wanna cry 😢 thanks for all you have done David

When you wanted to get out of our faith and doctrine in the Church of Jesus Christ ( which you have already done). I just would like to ask you in the name of our church to please STOP telling to the world about yout sentiment of our FAITH. You know very well and even the LGBT community, knew that we in our Faith and the church did not despise you you are welcome in the fold only in one condition which you yourselves knew about it.
I appreciate your honesty and courage to come out from your shell. But the thing is you will always justify your actions in what it seems that the doctrine of the gospel and the church themselves were the reason that you come out from the faith. And we are at fault. Sorry to tell that you are seeking sympathy from the public. We love you. And you know very well, that no matter what you are always welcome to the church.

The strange thing in Christianity is when there were members of particular church who left their church because of some dissatisfaction on several things then they move to another new church and claiming they find true God and start criticizing their former churches. 😂😂😂 So, their perspective are all windy and empty. They don't look for the truth of God. They actually look for the churches whatever they want and forgetting that Godly values are in them already.
