What a lovely interlude. I woke up at 1:30 AM and after watching this video was so relaxed that I wanted to climb back into bed for a cozy rest for a few hours. Alas, that was not to be...must be in my high school English classroom in the next two hours at 7:00 AM. But thanks for the visual display and variety of nature. What a pleasant way to start the day!
This video lends itself to daydreaming. Better get a pencil first, to write down all of the ideas, which take over your mind. Are there any low-light turquoise-colored houseplants? Is there an exhibition of Ikebana, or someone who demonstrates it? Whatever happened, with the woman, with the amazing Hoya collection? Do you still visit the Brooklyn chicken gang? Has Sander travelled to his Country recently? What did he study and would he recommend it now, to others? Do you ever bake some extremely super-healthy, but edible cookies? Is your pond, at Flock, frozen? Talk about drifting! The video is a bit therapeutic, like a re-boot. Thanks for that. ❤
As much as I love your narration and interviews, I really loved the vibes of this video! It might be the rainy weather we're dealing with in CA, but this just felt extra cozy. Thank you for taking us along.
❤ Thanks for dropping a video today. 6 degrees F yesterday in Virginia and a Summer Rayne Oakes video makes the winter a little less bleak. Love your dedication in bringing interesting botanic content. This was a slice of heaven. ❤
Good morning, Summer. Thank you so very much for taking me to the New York Botanical Gardens. Such an amazing variety of planting. I especially liked the mosses. Mother Nature is awesome and the staff of this garden has gone over and beyond in sharing the beauty. I appreciate the warm I felt, since I am in Wisconsin with bitter cold temps and lots of snow. Namaste
💚I absolutely loved this tour! The music was so peaceful and the lack of narration was really nice. Putting in the plant names was a wonderful idea, so no talking was even necessary. This is a tour I will watch again because it's just so beautiful and also so relaxing. It felt like I was actually walking through the conservatory. The other tours with people chatting are great, too, but not as restorative. I do really enjoy hearing the guests and learning from them, but I would love to have more videos like this one. Thank you!
I wish I was an immortal goddess that spent endless epochs cultivating entire planets into gardens of unique and beautiful plants... I want to watch them grow and change and evolve...
some of the things that you're picking up, I miss when walking through, you really have to pay attention, especially with these little succulents 12:39
It's great that the audio levels are good, I don't have premium and get ads in between.. They were actually a bit lower in volume and didn't undo the relaxation from the first part of the video. Audio quality and mixing can be pretty poor with some creators, mostly due to budget and knowledge constraints of course.. But that makes the good ones stand out :) My compliments to you for always giving us high production quality, nothing stands in the way of getting fully immersed in all the beauty and glory
It's funny that an artificial, little world, a man-made setting like this, is more like the World, which God created for us, than the real World, in which we live, calling it 'home.'

Ms. Oakes don't you agree that plants would miss the companionship of animals besides human at the NYBG Conservatory?
