  • Two powered glider flights at the Halton Model Club field, near Daresbury. The cluster of cars in a field in the middle distance was the Daresbury Steam traction rally, but looking at the lack of smoke, there weren't many steam engines fired up!
    These flights were 'line of sight' not FPV, so I had no idea what was on the SD card until I downloaded it - back at home.
    The model used is a mysterious Chinese one, all built up, but the name is unknown, as it was just an untranslatable pictogram on the box art. As the covering is orange, I've called it 'Tango'. The wing-span is 8 feet, or 244 metric thingies. The camera is a Mobius, and the radio is Taranis.
    The 'Venetian Blind' effect is caused by the camera 'looking' through the propeller arc.
