- Genshin Impact characters have many voice lines and lore. Among them, some are very sad.
So today I present you some of those sad voice lines from Eula, Shenhe, Sucrose, Qiqi and Kujou Sara.

To add more depresso about Sucrose's friends. She doesn't know that one of them (quite possible) died during an travel qn. And she shopes that making a paradise just like on the fairytales would make her reunite with her friends.
Shenhe's father decided to "properly apologize on person" a.k.a hung himself so he could he reunited with his wife and daughter. But didn't know that Shenhe survived.

I think it's because she was so blind to her clan's corruption while simultaneusly bragging about fighting for the greater good makes her look like a naive fool at best and a huge hypocrite at worst.
Just my personal opinion.
@@nicolaszamorano2172 but she never said anything about fighting for the "greater good", she was only doing it to appease the shogun. she has voicelines saying that she questioned the vision decree at first but banished those thoughts as her sole purpose in life is to serve as an agent and perpetrator of the shoguns will.
@@amysand5400 and since she is a devote follower to the shogun's orders to the point of not thinking the posible consecuences of both the shogun and her actions is because people don't like her, and remember that in one of her voicelines she naively stated that "the shogun is never wrong" which proves she didn't learn the lesson of her clan's fiasco, which it wouldn't be as bad if she didn't blindly follow orders, and let's remember that the head of her clan was misinforming the shogun which makes her the literal definition (with all due respect) of an useful idiot.

I kinda relate to sucrose, I had two best friends, but I moved schools and my old phone didn’t work anymore so we couldn’t contact each other anymore
The moment I had a new phone I tried to text them but I realized that they changed numbers/got new phones
So like
We might never see each other again
And I’m also kinda like her personality-wise
Sara’s conflicted feelings are important. In Asian culture, its not so easy to question your father figure, even if he is abusive. It might be hard to seek counseling or admit to yourself that he’s imperfect
I want to hug Sara so badly- (well actually, I want to hug all of them-)

I feel like Sucrose’s is the saddest cause it’s just so realistic and relatable that it has to have happened to you at least once.
Sara, sweetie, there's nothing disrespectful about wanting to be loved and accepted by your adoptive family.
I think it’s really interesting that Sara is basically a more serious Arataki Itto. She does try to be calm and collected, but she’s very hot blooded, gets easily angry and is very easy to manipulate or lie to.
Only Itto’s gang actually want nothing but good for him, whereas Sara’s adopted dad just sees her as an attack dog for the Kujou Clan

To answer Shenhe. Your 'curse' is the way others treat you. Nothing else. Unless it's a disease or a health related disorder and even then, humans being kind and showing affection can improve even a very sick persons short life.

Well the setting isnt quite the same now is it? Honkai world has to desperately try to gain power in any way to stop the will of the herrscher of the end so much so that betrayal and extreme measures are not so strange
Genshin is just literally traveler getting swept up between nation in hope of reuniting with lost sibling
As you can see one has a much more predisposition to have sad stories while the other may have them but its not the focus

Nah the whole shenhe situation be fucked up af, the angel deserves no trauma, and Sara wouldn't be so lonely if she wasn't stuck up and stopped to be a normal person for 2 seconds
How the fuck is sara "stuck up" and being Isolated and abused doesn't make you a " Normal person " it makes you traumatized
