People are inevitably going to mock Mbappe because they are bitter and resentful but his farewell message to PSG fans was pure class. Mbappe leaves PSG having won 6 Ligue 1 titles, 3 French Cups, and 2 League Cups. In addition to that, his 255 goals and 108 assists in 306 career matches for PSG are off the charts. At 25, Mbappe has won a World Cup, lost another World Cup final while scoring a hat trick, already has 12 World Cup goals in only 14 appearances and is on pace to break Klose’s record of 16 World Cup goals, has 46 goals and 31 assists in 77 matches for France, and is already tied with Zlatan for 10th place all time in Champions League goals with 48 and will easily be 6th all time by this time next season passing legends of the game like Di Stefano, Henry, and van Nistelrooy. Over the course of his 7 years at PSG, he earned over $600 million from his earnings alone, not even including the abundance of endorsement money he makes. The man is the product of immigrants, speaks French, Spanish, and English, and will be a billionaire, if he isn’t already, by his early 30’s. If you wanna play with a diamond formation, Rodrygo is benched it’s Mbappe Vini and Bellingham and whoever plays alongside Valverde and Tchouameni it’ll be either Kroos or Camavinga. With these 2 formations what’s gonna happen to someone like Endrick how much will they play him, will Arda Guler get minutes, should they start Alphonso Davies over Ferland Mendy at LB, will Brahim Diaz have a role in the team. Also what happens with David Alaba when he comes back from injury does he start alongside Militao because with his form, Antonio Rudiger is undroppable and even he might not be in their best lineup when he healthy again. What are they gonna do with Lunin when Courtois is back to full fitness. What’s their best formation. I think that 4-3-3 and 4-3-1-2 or even 4-4-2 are formations that Ancelotti has to use next season and it doesn’t matter what tactics they have as long as Mbappe fits the system and the squad isn’t imbalanced or any other issues in the dressing room, this experiment hopefully should work out.
