Hey, which controller do you use? Also do you have other inground system for the other areas? How do you keep your lawn looking so good? Is there any video showing how is it connected to the faucet?
I have the Rachio controller. I do have irrigation for my entire lawn. My lawn looks the way it does through consistency of the 4 cultural practices of turf management...proper watering, fertilization, mowing, and pest management. With a quality seed if you get the first 3 right with a little patience the 4 one will be very minimal.
@@ElevatedLawnscapes yes it is pricey but it’s all burrows in the ground so wanted to make sure it would last and not eventually break down like I’ve seen pvc do. Where did you get your hoses? I may be adding two more zones.

Awesome video. I'm no expert but I think you should put Teflon tape on the threads clockwise so it doesn't get undone when you put the heads on. Btw, I also go to Newsome Seed n Fulton for that Top Choice TF blend. Have you considered the mp rotator heads from hunter?
Most of the time I aim to put the teflon that way but it doesn't happen everytime. I have looked at them but have not really considered switching to them.

Irrigation was still winterized. As you can see, I was in a hoody with the hood on. It was freezing that day with the wind blowing 15-20 mph. The heads work Im not worried about that. Check the installation video.

I did my whole yard front and back with blu lock but I used there blue hose 3/4”. Love it

You need a water hose or hose thread to pipe thread adapter coming from your faucet where your timmer or valve is located.

Yep, you are right. I blow out all my irrigation for the winter. It's a sad day when it come bc thats the sign the lawn season is over.

I do leave it out all year. I put a fitting on the end of the poly pipe and blow it out like an in-ground irrigation system with an air compressor.
