It's so interesting how chungha is easily overshadowed in a group, but SLAYS as a solo artist. Whereas Somi shines the most in a group but as a solo artist she's a bit underwhelming. I'm just so amazed at this for whatever reason.
Chungha is older and more experienced as a performer, so she gets to let that shine as a solo artist. Somi was only 15 here and was fearless. I'm sure being with a large group of girls helped with that, now she is promoting by herself and that's very different and she's more insecure. She was only 18 when Birthday was released, so she'll get better in time when she is used to being solo and gains more confidence.

stop saying that somi is at fault for wearing all black and hencd making the rest look like back up dancers. you guys should watch produce 101 where this group was born! in produce 101, the center would usually be given the spotlight. for example, in full moon, pinky was the center and she wore white, whereas the other two members wore black! given that SOMI won first and became the center of the group, she is supposed to be differentiated. otherwise what's the fuss of being number 1?
secondly, gdi. their outfits are prepared by their stylists, somi doesn't have control over it
thirdly, stop saying that somi is overrated. she isnt! she is popular but it comes with hardwork. the fact that she is in JYP as a trainee already shows that she has already been working hard and she is only like 16? she gotta the potential. stop being salty. the others may deserve more support but that doesn't mean somi should receive less support
lastly, even though somi is the center, other than pick me, I think her screen time isnt that as muc either and the lines are fairly distributed!!! and somi improved alot mind you she used to sing with little emotions but now she has improved on her stage presence.

Which mean, the are 4 absent members which were both Jellyfish members, Sejeong and Mina, Starship's Yujeong and Mbk's Chaeyeon. The reason I stated their company's name is because at that time they back to their company for some reason. Jellyfish debuted Gugudan at this same time so both Sejeong and Mina had to take break. Starship added officially announced Yunjeong will be added into WJSN. And Chaeyeon had something to do with DIA i think back then i dont remember

Completely Chungha's opposite. Chungha has way stronger stage presence as solo artist compared to when she's in a group where she blend in.

I guess they were part of a project. They are trainees for a whole bunch of other companies, and they were all put together in one show to create one girl band. And the deal was to be together for one year, and disband at the end. All of them will be returning to their original companies, and probably be included in other girlbands or projects. I think it's this. If I said something wrong please someone correct me ;) It's a shame! I like them a lot, they are pretty funny and their songs are ear catching.
