I was there today. It's amazes me how crystal clean the water is , and the beautiful elafonisi with the pink sand is amazing. After this amazing experience in the elafonisi beach while going back home we visited a beautiful small tavern called Spiliaraki . The tavern is in a small village called Topolia and the food was amazing .
I'm a pensioner in UK when I was 61 I cycled to Crete from London it took 27 days and dam when I reached Greece it was so hot I only cycled to lunch time and fell asleep under the beach trees. They have lidels cheap food store like most country's in Europe . After thousands of kilometers it was good to fly out back to London 2 HR flight with my bike. Lovely experience

We really loved this beach and Greece as a whole! The food, the people... Everything was amazing!
It is definitely one of the best beaches in Greece , and Koukounaries beach in the Island of Skiathos is just as good
