At first I thought it was pretty weak and was really unimpressed. Than you changed the tips and wow! What a difference.
That 40* nozzle sure looks useless. Not enough GPM.
@lopincol it was on low also, in this video, we didn’t change settings I have another video coming up I’m gonna be going over PSI tests and different settings
Not sure on this model, but my old electric power washer you had to run the water with the machine off. All settings/batteries out and click the trigger to get water to cycle, then power on. This eliminates that sputter and protects the life of the washers and what not.
I do that I definitely drain all the water and I don't keep the batteries in the power washer
I have the EGO push mower and the EGO snowblower. I’ll be ordering (next week) the EGO Esteer riding mower, the leaf blower and the weed trimmer. As you can see, I like the EGO products. Looking forward to this video…maybe I’ll add another product to my lineup. Thank you for making these informative videos!

When this was unveiled at SEMA I knew I had to get this washer because it solves minor annoyances that I have with my Worx Hydroshot. Last weekend I picked mine up and fits nicely on the end of my Kobalt utility cart where I have four 5 gallon military water jugs. I plan on using my Mosmatic swiveling spray gun with a 3.0 40 degree nozzle, which by the way would give your friend a wonderful experience. The 25 foot hose is a nice upgrade from what I had before considering I used to bring the cart with me because of the stiff short hose on the Hydroshot.

I wonder if the performance would’ve been better with house water. Any pump has to work harder drawing water from a static source compared to a pressurized source.
It still did a good job but it would be interesting to compare.
So we got videos on the new mower, dry/wet vac and now the pressure washer. Mini bike next???

wow! that's awesome! 2, 5 gallon buckets (10 gallons total) to clean the whole car and without a hose connected to it! that can be useful for some who dont have access to hose water and want to wash their car!

Switch to a hose and the pressure increases drastically.
I've never seen a pressure washer do a good job on a car, hand washing gets it much cleaner.
I agree, I washed my Tesla the other day and yes, after applying soap I used a soft cloth and scrubbed it down then rinsed it off.
Really wish you showed the different buttons on the handle and how they increased/decreased the power. Maybe that would have made the 40 degree tip work better.

@@TechMadeEzy you only show the buttons exist but in the actual car wash video we did not get to see you “test” the different power setting levels and how that affected the car washing experience. Would love to see that and I know a lot of other people would love to see that.
The only way this is viable for jobs longer than 30 minutes is if you have 2 big backup batteries and 2 superchargers. Otherwise this is only good for very small jobs. They have plug-in electric washers where you dont have to worry about battery life.
I'm used to a few times it's pretty nice I agree in some cases you probably just want something to plug in but the advantage this brings is you can bring water in a bucket and wash anything cordless in the middle of nowhere

It’s just too sexy looking to return although i thought about it 😂 I definitely could use it for when I edge a overgrown lawn and the dirt stays on the sidewalk. I always wish I had a pressure washer to clean it up so here we are I am the target market lol
@@VanquishAudio I bought this and love it, but you are right, limited time with battery. I have a well and do not want to get carried away using it and run the tank dry. I bought it because of the bucket option. Have you tried two different size batteries? On top of the two 6amp batteries I have a 5 and a 4.

Hey TechMadeEasy! Loved the video and the EGO pressure washer. I am thinking about purchasing one as well to wash our Tesla since I’ve heard Teslas shouldn’t go through a normal car wash?? & not sure if i missed it, but you used the 40 degree nozzle and at what setting on the pressure washer? Low, High, Turbo ? Thanks for the video!
Hey buddy, you just need to put a Tesla in car wash mode it’s in the menu that will stop the charging door from opening and your wipers from automatically wiping. If you’re going to use that nozzle, I wouldn’t go any more than high. I used the 25 but that you might want to use on low if you like.

Did the 25 give you more pressure, or was the increase because you turned the unit to turbo, or the highest setting? (you told him to change the setting before the nozzle change)
We actually only used the lowest setting, and simply change the nozzle. But I’m going to have more testing coming up.
@@TechMadeEzy awesome, thank you. I wash in a condo with no garage or hose connection, so I need to bring all the supplies out with me, which also means no electricity, either. So my polishers, blowers, and vacuum are all battery as well.

I have bought and expect to continue to buy EGO products, but this is a miss for me. The performance puts it in competition with lower end electric pressure washers- models you’d find at Home Depot and Lowe’s. I’ll stick with my Active 2.0 washer and when that dies, I likely would not consider this EGO model.
All that said, this review was a use case review. If you could, it would be interesting to see if the performance meets the advertised specs. (Use a pressure gauge and fill a metered bucket to see if it hits the advertised GPM, etc).

Purchased one of these. Returned the next day. I have few ego tools but this one is a disappointment . Runtime isn’t good
I think you spent to much time, spaying soap on the car, and to much time rinsing, the wrong way. I plan on using this washer on the go for personal use. Taking ten gallons of water, looks to be the right amount based on what you did, maybe one more for the tires. Wash, rinse, wax, tires included, blow dry. This will save me lots of time.
I would not have dicked around with that first nozzle for more than 10 seconds
