you know you mention not feeling like you're a charismatic person, but i feel like your incredibly down-to-earth side is part of what made me subscribe
I'm not one who tends to pay attention to film quality etc - BUT this video was so smooth, well edited, and sounded great. Well done, so happy you're uploading again.
10:22 I highly disagree. I have been watching your content on and off for years, and your personality and recipes are what draw me to your videos. Obviously, we don't know each other, and this is a parasocial dynamic, but I have been watching your videos here and there since 2017 and find many of your stories relatable like the ones about your dad and how you guys feel about moving. I understand the draw for increasing aesthetic appeal, but don't think you are not charismatic enough.
could not agree more!! just found you today and could not resist watching a couple of videos! so inspired in my culinary pursuits as well as my artistic and romantic ones!!!
Sarah, for what it is worth, I have been a vegan for over 20 years, I have more vegan cookbooks than I can count, and your recipes continue to be my solid favorite. Even my most skeptical friends always love your recipes (your broccoli cheese soup is unmatched!) I've said it before, but if you ever decide to write a cook book I would be the first to buy it!!! You don't need imposter syndrome, you are the real deal (and your personality is wonderful!). Thanks for all the amazing content, so glad to see you back!
Amen, of all the veegtube recipes we've tried hers are the ones we love best. She's a skilled chef, she has a personal relationship with the food she prepares--they connect. They love each other, and you can taste it.
I just wanted to pop in and say youved been missed. I love that your inspired to progress and looking forward to your new content. But i must say i think your very charismatic.. your have such a calm and gentle energy and i feel like i really got to know you in your old videos. Lost of hugs
15:43 Yep, different seasons to prioritize different aspects of ourselves. It's beneficial to maintain a bare minimum standard that we uphold tor each individual domain in our lives, but as we transition to the next season, it's time to optimize different things.
Oh my I woke up and saw you posted a video and clicked on it so fast. We have missed you so much. You are one of my favourite, thank you for posting again.
First off, great to see y'all! Secondly, you are charismatic, Sarah, in your own, beautifully authentic way! The passion, the love, the dedication, and care you put into your content are irreplaceable and as a viewer, it's an honor and a privilege to witness that. You're an inspiration, a light, and an amazing person, inside and out. Continue your creative explorations and follow your heart. 🙇🏻🙏💚
We had Impossible burgers with Chao cheese tonight for dinner. As I was getting ready to move the first burger from the pan to the bun ... it slid off the spatula and hit the floor, with the cheese (which was perfectly melted) blobbing down the side of the cupboard. I implemented the 5 second rule and, being a good wife, made sure to give my husband the burger that did not have contact with the floor. They were delicious. Very glad you are back! I think your channel is awesome. As someone new to veganism, I have watched hours and hours of TH-cam videos and after a few months I have my three favorites, all for different reasons ... Merle O'Neal, Rainbow Plant Life and YOU! Your recipes are awesome, your personality is adorable, your husband is so sweet and supportive ... I hope you start giving yourself more credit ... your creativity just shines through every video.
Wow Sarah, I am so glad you are back and your web page looks great 👍 You have really grown and your videography looks great and I have loved your channel and content since the beginning 😀 I’m sorry you are so hard on yourself and insecure, just stay humble and do the best you can with the things you love and you’ll do well 😊 No one can be perfect, it’s impossible. You’re doing great, welcome back❤️
one of the reasons why I’m so drawn to you and this channel is because of how calming, soothing, and comforting your videos are. to me, your charisma radiates from your grounded-ness. how every video feels like I’m at home, cooking with a friend. how you portray your day to day life. adulting. struggles and anxieties. how we get a small glimpse, a “slice of life” moment, and how powerful (and healing) that has been for me. thank you. and welcome back 🤍
I wish you would make a podcast just you rambling because there is something so special and comforting about your voice I could listen to you talking about anything 😊
So good to see you again and so glad that you’re able to use your art form in the way that pleases you. I look forward to seeing more of it in your videos😊. I also agree with you Sommer used to be my favorite, but for a couple decades now spring and fall are. I love your views on life and balance and having seasons where you focus on during certain activities that you enjoy..
So glad you are back! Thank you for the life update! Your videos are so amazing and high quality, I get so much comfort from them. You look amazing and healthy, and so does your content! That salad at the end that you put on your sandwiches was so creative and had me drooling haha. You inspire me so much to get creative in the kitchen
Hey Sarah! That message you made about progress was something I really needed to hear. I've been feeling pretty defeated lately, and being reminded that I don't have to achieve everything at once was really helpful, so thank you. So glad to see you're back! - a fellow Sarah ✌️
Welcome back! I produce extra virgin olive oil and let me suggest you to keep it only in glass bottles away from direct sun light. Plastic is definitely not the best way to keep it nor is tin.
Welcome back! So many vegan you tubers I sub to have been M.I.A. and I just kinda started getting used to it. Found a couple new ones that are whole foods, oil free & I’ve been liking them, but I really have missed your content. So happy you’re back 😊 And as for that soup & sandwich, omg! It looks sooo good!
You were definitely missed. I’m so happy you are back. It’s good to take time for ourselves when needed. I look forward to eating your yummy recipes. 💚🌱
Welcome back Sarah. Thank you for sharing your journey on improving videography and photography. To be honest, I love how you present the food and photograph it on your site. It’s real and genuine. Looking forward to seeing your next vlog. 🥰
I just started binge-watching your videos today because I've been slacking very badly on my health since becoming vegetarian. I've never been able to find good recipes for meals that actually interest me and have basically been eating lame pastas and salads for the past couple of years. Thank you for giving me a new outlook on food and cooking! I can't wait to start trying your recipes! Also you're very charismatic, that's one of the reasons I've been binge-watching!
Welcome back! Love what you said about not having to be at peak EVERYTHING all at once but rather to prioritize a few things at a time as the seasons of your life come and go.
Wowwwww. Here she goes!! I been checking for this type of notification for a while. I was just thinking about you all the other day! So glad all is well. This made my day! ❤
Welcome back. Thank you for being so vulnerable. I hurts me to hear you be so tough on yourself, even though on some level we all are. You seem like such a thoughtful and introspective person. Great qualities to have no matter where you are and what you are doing. I really related to stuff you talked about in this video. I also want to try that corn.
So glad you’re back! I find that the TH-camrs that I’ve continued to watch over the years aren’t the ones who are the most “charismatic” but the ones who seem relatable, real, someone I’d want to be friends with in real life. So while I think aesthetics are definitely a draw, personality is really important!
"my brain is extremely good at coming up with ideas but it is trapped in a body that is not the best at actually initiating projects or seeing them through" i have never felt more seen 😭 as well as alllll the saved recipes, home decor things, date night ideas etc. I always feel like other people are so good at just doing the things they think of or want to do. And actually finish them too. I don't start and when I do start I never really finish it all the way. Happy to know there are more people like that (and they even have very successful youtube channels and are super nice and cute and talented) 🧡
The first vegan summer food video that I ACTUALLY want to try making food from. Looks amazing! I never make desserts because I don't have a mixer but I had no idea scones didn't need it! I'm so excited to try it
was so excited to see you posted!! I feel like I like the long format content better than what TikTok and IG have been conditioning us with. It’s so much better for my attention span and I just enjoy it!!
Same. So sick of TikTokification! The short form trend culture shouldn’t stop creators from doing what makes them shine, or what makes them happy for that matter. I love Sarah’s long-form videos! I have since the very beginning.
An easy way I think to mix up peanut butter or any nut butter/tahini that is hard at the bottom is to put the entire jar in a food processor. It mixes it really well and poured back into its original container and it will not separate again.
Yay, you're back! Happy that TH-cam is your main social media because, as an older adult, I don't have instagram/TikTok or any other social media account.Thank you for posting here once again!
I am so delighted for you guys. I feel like I'm not far behind every step of the way. Hearing Eric excited to grill in the winter after listening to your guys' podcast (shortly after moving to Portland myself), I really appreciate how special that is for you. Welcome back!
We’ve watched your videos since the beginning. You should be very proud of how the quality of your production has grown over the years. Totally relate to the imposter syndrome. Be assured that you’re not a poser 😂 Welcome back to The Tube. The recipes look great, and we reference your blog all the time for kitchen inspo. Keep on keeping on!🌱💚😊
Stoked you guys are back. I've gravitated toward your channel over the years not only because you have some of the best vegan recipes on the interweb, but you both seem like such genuine, real people... I appreciate that.
It's so nice to see you back. I just absolutely love both you & Eric! Your personalities, your realness . You guys are so intune with yourselves and it's so beautiful and motivating hearing you talk about your life and passions and mindset !
I'm so glad you're back! As someone who also struggles from imposter syndrome, seeing you say you don't find yourself charismatic was very eye opening to me. It really shows that we all have things we doubt about ourselves - but on the outside other people most likely see the opposite. I always find that when I'm being vulnerable with a friend about an insecurity they always say that trait is something they admire about me. It's funny how differently we see ourselves versus how the people who love us see us. When this happens I just choose to trust my friend and their judgement because I know my inner critic can't be trusted! I love that you always overlay your current thoughts while also sharing the coziest, approachable recipes. When I first started making videos I had been a long time viewer of your channel and you were one of the creators that I thought of when trying to think of how I want to make my audience feel after watching my content. It's so refreshing to find a creator where you always know you'll leave feeling more at ease and inspired!
That whole intro part I kept thinking "oh dang, that's some great shots/editing" so you're doing great! I 100000% relate to your creative "I have so many ideas but don't do any of them". I have such a hard time with having a vision in my head and then not being skilled enough (or patient enough) to actually create it irl. It's so hard lol
Thrilled to see you back! I love how much of your life you share in your videos. You’ve helped me with more than just recipes. Thanks for sharing your heart with us. ❤
I can REALLY relate to the feelings you shared in this video. I also deal with a lot of imposter syndrome, and that has tended to hold me back from bringing all of my ideas or general potential to fruition. It is so hard when there are so many things we want to do, but focusing on a few important things is the most rewarding. Grateful to have you back, I've been following since the beginning and find your content so grounding and inspirational. Sending you love and support from afar ✨️
Great to see you back. Video looks great and I really enjoyed the editing. And it's all made that much better by your enjoyment of the making of it. Happy summer, and as an autumn enthusiast, I heartily agree with the preference for transitional seasons. Be well!
Sarah, it was so nice to see you again. I totally understand that struggle between maintaining the blog and that whole world and a TH-cam channel and learning new equipment. I’ve been diving heavy into fixing up my blog and I definitely couldn’t keep up with regular videos. I love that you’re leaning into your aesthetic, chill vibe. Your video is beautiful and calming and it feels like hanging out with a long time friend (I’ve been a follower since the beginning of your channel) I love your perspective on not trying to do all the things all at once, but letting go of expectations and living your life in seasons of what feels good at that time. Such a good reminder. Thank you for sharing your life and amazing recipes with us
Sarah, you are looking especially bright and I can definitely see the difference in camera/quality. I've been following your content for some years now and it's comforting to see you again
5:18 I can totally relate to having a million creative ideas and having trouble executing them! I was recently diagnosed with ADHD in the past couple of years. I've learned through my diagnosis that people with ADHD have trouble with executive function, meaning it's hard to start anything even though you have good ideas and want to start something. I just wanted to share in case you feel the same. Also, I LOVE your videos! Keep up the good work, and thank you for sharing your recipes! They are a joy to watch! 😊
I missed your channel. I love that you’re back and I’m so excited for the content that you’re going to bring. This video was absolutely adorable and I loved how your intro played out. You have always been such a great inspiration for vegan meals and fitness when you were doing workout. ❤
So happy that you’re back and thriving. Your calming energy and insights on your mental health are just as good as your recipes! ♥️ I can’t wait to try that tomato soup!
Hi Sarah, I’ve followed you for a while and never commented. I’ve followed you because I love how down to earth you are. You seem so mindful and just genuine. I also really appreciate how you’re careful with the price of things, how it’s so easy to relate to you bc these days on TH-cam and socials in general it’s very difficult to follow people who aren’t trying to sell you a bunch of overpriced stuff. So keep being you, keep the good work, you’re amazing and very charismatic 🥰
This is soooooooo relatable on so many levels! I’m such a research all day, put off for two years human and I’m just now getting back into my content! You are inspiring on the content journey! Thank you for sharing your truth and I love your new style. Magnolia should swoop you up and get you a network show with this new style 🤓
first off - glad to see you're back. echoing everyone else below, your videos are calming, fun and inspiring in the best way and, as long as you are up for making them, we will be watching. second off - your video hit at the perfect moment as we had some blueberries in the fridge that were on their last legs. i used the same scone recipe you did and am here to say that they are some of the best baked goods i have ever made (husband agrees). we cannot stop eating them. thanks for the inspiration! :)
I've missed you!!!!! I had almost forgotten how I tend to always save ALL of your videos into a special folder to reference later (even though, like you, I rarely find the motivation to go back and recreate all of them because I get overwhelmed by how many I have saved... even though I want to! Your food is 10/10 my style, moreso than any other food content creator that I follow!) Welcome back, can't wait to be drooling over all your upcoming videos! 🩷
wow wow wow, the new camera and work you've put into finding your grove with it so paid of - such a beautiful and calming video 🤍and thank you for always sharing your thoughts, I love the mix of food inspo and your personal voice-overs
So glad you’re back Sarah! And you as well Eric. Have missed you both and I have followed you since the beginning. I totally understand the ‘ick feeling’ when on Insta or TikTok. I also get the creative research obsession yet procrastinate to put it into practice. Just be you, that’s why we love you ❤ Have a beautiful day, it’s Winter in Australia, but still beautiful.
Ohhh Sarah unfortunately I’m in a really stressful exam period so I can’t write everything I’d like to say BUT I’ll get back to it and for now: missed you SO much, glad you’re back and with a BANGER at that - one can TOTALLY see the work, it’s paid off! Really worth it, you’re a queen 🎉
In the era of endless mindnumbing scrolling with shorter and shorter videos, it is so relaxing to watch a video like this one. Beautiful food, excellent videography. Glad you're back, I really love everything you do.
So so so glad you’re back!!! I just started watching your channel at the end of 2023 so I kept waiting for a new video. In the meantime I fell in love with your what I eat in a week videos and have checked out a lot of your playlists. Anyway glad you’re back and loved this video. I am like you and have tons of recipes saved on Facebook Instagram and Pinterest but have tried only a few! I did use your method for making crispy tofu in the oven and it worked awesome! Btw the corn looked awesome and I think I have the corn rib recipe saved somewhere too!!
I’m a long time fan, and I’ve always enjoyed your videos. And I’m also enjoying this new format. Super proud of you for learning and growing. Love this new style!
I am glad you are back, I have always enjoyed your videos. Your recipes and real life presentation of them is inspiring when I am burnt out from cooking all the time. That tomato soup looks amazing and I am going to try it after my next trip to the farmers market.
Personally I watch your videos for cooking/health inspo (and to see how you're doing obvs). I love that you're chill and not loud and 'in your face' like most TH-camrs. If people want that type of person there's plenty of other people they can watch. You just stick to doing you. :)
WE MISSED YOU! Best notification of the year!!!!
Exactly! ❤
you know you mention not feeling like you're a charismatic person, but i feel like your incredibly down-to-earth side is part of what made me subscribe
Yes! She's so chill.
This is such a humble reason to get off TH-cam! No Drama, no illness - just a big learning curve, a dedication to a project! Much respect!
I'm not one who tends to pay attention to film quality etc - BUT this video was so smooth, well edited, and sounded great. Well done, so happy you're uploading again.

I love the cat, the rain, the storm, the food. Cheers, m’dears.
Agreed for all except rain and storm. Too much of that where I live. ☔️
I wish you would make a podcast just you rambling because there is something so special and comforting about your voice I could listen to you talking about anything 😊
They have a podcast called "what is life dude?" but it looks like they deleted most of the episodes. I'm so sad! I loved their podcast
Welcome back Sarah! ❤
Happy you are back and it makes total sense why you were away. I need to get those fabric bowl covers!
I have missed you guys so Much so Glad Your Back!!!!! Thank You ❤

yay so happy you are back! been sharing your recipes like crazy lately - especially the tofu eggless salad :)
Welcome back! Loved meeting the both of you recently. Still star struck. 😊
So glad you’re back! So nice to see you again, you both look great. I’m gonna make that roasted tomato soup and check out your blog. Happy summer
The first vegan summer food video that I ACTUALLY want to try making food from. Looks amazing! I never make desserts because I don't have a mixer but I had no idea scones didn't need it! I'm so excited to try it
So glad you're back! I've missed your recipes! Glad to see you're both doing well! 🦋🩵🦋

Or, just put the jar upside down in the fridge.

Yay, you're back! Happy that TH-cam is your main social media because, as an older adult, I don't have instagram/TikTok or any other social media account.Thank you for posting here once again!
Thank goodness you’re the only TH-cam I consistently watch 😸
I am so delighted for you guys. I feel like I'm not far behind every step of the way. Hearing Eric excited to grill in the winter after listening to your guys' podcast (shortly after moving to Portland myself), I really appreciate how special that is for you. Welcome back!
The cinematography is chefs kiss
I really loved when Eric said he loves that you love the veggies. That's the kind of wholesomeness we all need in our lives and relationships.
I love that your videos are like a recipe / random pensive thoughts on life 🌟 it’s very relaxing
Excited to have you back. You are my favorite vegan youtuber by far! Been a longtime subscriber. 😊

It’s neat to reflect on the first video you two did, trying vegan foods, and now you’ve built this beautiful life together.
That whole intro part I kept thinking "oh dang, that's some great shots/editing" so you're doing great! I 100000% relate to your creative "I have so many ideas but don't do any of them".
Be well!
My favorite youtuber is back! It's so validating to hear you're dealing with imposter syndrome too. Glad you're doing well 🥰
It’s so crazy because the first thing I thought was “wow, the lighting looks so much better” lol. Everything is so warm and nice :)
Your video is beautiful and calming and it feels like hanging out with a long time friend (I’ve been a follower since the beginning of your channel)
I love your perspective on not trying to do all the things all at once, but letting go of expectations and living your life in seasons of what feels good at that time. Such a good reminder.
Thank you for sharing your life and amazing recipes with us
Sarah, you are looking especially bright and I can definitely see the difference in camera/quality. I've been following your content for some years now and it's comforting to see you again
That tomato soup recipe is an absolute banger. We make the version with white beans like a couple times a month, sometimes weekly in winter. So good!
Your filming skills are so good. The visuals and audios are beautifully crisp.
This vid brings comfort to me.
Yay ! I'm so excited :) love that you're back on TH-cam ! Love the intentionality behind how you use your mediums. I really appreciate it as a viewer.
I’m so glad you’re back! What you said while making the scones really resonated with me, thank you for sharing 🥲💗🥰
Your videos are so relaxing and hygge to me. Your voice is so soft and easy to listen to. Glad you’re back!!
I'm so glad you're back!!! Missed you 💖
Sarah, you are a breath of fresh air! Love that you are back, and so do my kitties (your voice is so soothing to them).
This is soooooooo relatable on so many levels! I’m such a research all day, put off for two years human and I’m just now getting back into my content! You are inspiring on the content journey! Thank you for sharing your truth and I love your new style. Magnolia should swoop you up and get you a network show with this new style 🤓
Beautiful video and I'm glad your back 💜💜💜
first off - glad to see you're back. echoing everyone else below, your videos are calming, fun and inspiring in the best way and, as long as you are up for making them, we will be watching.
second off - your video hit at the perfect moment as we had some blueberries in the fridge that were on their last legs. i used the same scone recipe you did and am here to say that they are some of the best baked goods i have ever made (husband agrees). we cannot stop eating them. thanks for the inspiration!
Welcome back! Missed y'all! 💕✨👍😄
I’m a long time fan, and I’ve always enjoyed your videos. And I’m also enjoying this new format. Super proud of you for learning and growing. Love this new style!
So excited se see you back in action! 😊
just have to say your videos are like a cozy hug from a friend, the vibe and the food is just genuine and peaceful
I am glad you are back, I have always enjoyed your videos. Your recipes and real life presentation of them is inspiring when I am burnt out from cooking all the time. That tomato soup looks amazing and I am going to try it after my next trip to the farmers market.
I’m so glad to see you back. Your videos are very calm and comforting. Glad your here ❤
Personally I watch your videos for cooking/health inspo (and to see how you're doing obvs). I love that you're chill and not loud and 'in your face' like most TH-camrs. If people want that type of person there's plenty of other people they can watch. You just stick to doing you. :)
I’m so glad you’re back. ❤
