Love this recipe! When the fish hit the river and just aren't biting anything and everything is thrown at them I've found these eggs work. I've even had guys next to me using store-bought eggs with no luck. This recipe makes me look like I know what I'm doing on the water. Thanks, Andy!
Yah Michael I just bought a bunch of silver eggs that I'm curing with Triple Threat a buddy gave me last year. I have about 5lbs I paid $15 for, but I don't have any borax. I'm just spent 2 hours curing, and tomorrow I'll try to fix them better. I live on the coast of WA, and plan on going to the Humptulips River to try for a King! I like Silvers though!
Hi Andy, When its curing in the garage for 3 days as you said, are you putting them in the fridge or just in the garage outside of the fridge, maybe just on the cold concrete floor (warmer than the fridge) since thats a cold place where itll juice better? Thanks!
Fantastic video the best egg cure process I've ever seen my question is is that three days curing outside of refrigerator or inside a refrigerator and how about how long is the drying process thank you?
I did this same cure i left my eggs in the garage for 3 days like he said and on the third day they actually cured like he said absorbing all the liquid that was in it.
